"Since you praised me, I'll let you die a little more easily." Xia Xiang took off her ring and shrank in front of Rex.
Rex stared wide-eyed at the scene before him in disbelief. Where had such a big person gone? How had he shrunk to a whole size?!
Rex patted his face to make sure he wasn't dreaming.
Black Dragon had no time for Rex, because the Demon Slayer Slash was already at Black Dragon's face.
He wondered why that guy with the golden pen kept calling Xia Xiang a little kid; it turned out he really was a little kid!
What's going on with Demon-Slaying Island?! They even prey on such young children as laborers! Even the Black Dragon Demon King thinks they're utterly vicious!
The Demon-Slaying Slash naturally didn't land on the black dragon's head, because he had the Martial Corpse Lord blocking his way.
Xia Xiang was a little angry. She controlled the Demon-Slaying Slash to spin around and first help Rex block the other martial corpses.
"Little friend, do you know Zun?" the black dragon asked in confusion.
“I don’t recognize him,” Xia Xiang said, holding the magnolia bow that had turned into a stick again. “But he’s good-looking, and I want to take him back and put him in my garden.”
"Hahaha, who are you trying to fool?" the black dragon laughed.
"Black Dragon, are you too scared?" Xia Xiang mocked. "The head of the Martial Tribunal has been hiding behind others all this time. If you have the guts, come and fight me."
"Kid, don't provoke me." The black dragon said in a gloomy tone, "Your combat power index is over 50,000, and you also have the Demon-Slaying Slash. I'm not stupid."
Rex never imagined he would one day be working with a weapon; before that, he could barely hold his own against four zombie warriors.
The group was facing off when a powerful aura rushed towards them from not far away.
"You brat, I'm not playing with you today. You'll be crying another day." After saying that, the black dragon disappeared from the spot, along with several martial corpses.
"Xia Xiang, are you alright?!" Ji An had already put on the clothes of the Demon-Slaying Island and was holding the Demon-Slaying Slash in his hand.

Rex exclaimed in surprise, "Ji An is your accomplice?"
“He’s a companion.” Xia Xiang stared at him and spat out a mouthful of blood.

"It's okay, let's go back to my house first," Xia Xiang said, telling them to take Ding Xiaoyu back.

In Xia Xiang's living room, Rex and Ji An sat side by side, Ding Xiaoyu lay quietly on the longest sofa, and Xia Xiang sat cross-legged, closing her eyes to regulate her breathing.
"So many things happened during the many days we were gone." Xia Xiang opened her eyes.
"My brother is going to become a demon because of the Sword in the Stone. A girl named Jin Gang is pursuing him. Now the two of them have been captured and imprisoned by the Black Dragon."
"My cheapskate dad went to rescue him, but he got locked up too. The Earth Dragon Gang is now leaderless and is about to be disbanded by their rivals?"
"Wang Dadong was ambushed by An Qi, who was actually a zombie, and was hit by the Quick Recovery Needle. He is now being protected at home!"
"Ding Xiaoyu was captured and turned into a zombie while protecting her homeroom teacher and An Qi!"
