Chapter 139 Auction

Xia Xiang and Xiu chatted about summer all the way to the East City Guard training camp, where they were resting when they arrived.

"Xia Xiang, what brings you here?" A-Kou asked, sipping his water.

"I've come to ask you for a small favor," Xia Xiang said with a smile.

"Help! We'll definitely help!" Ah Kou declared with great enthusiasm. "I'm willing to go through fire and water, even die, to serve the future leader's wife."

Xia Xiang's forehead creased with three black lines, and her fists clenched! The next second, she directly carried the stick that the Magnolia Bow had turned into and chased after A Kou. Fortunately, this was an abandoned building, which was relatively spacious enough for A Kou to run around.

"Next time we meet, please call me Your Majesty!" Xia Xiang lectured A Kou while hitting him.

Xia Xiang knew Akou was joking, so she also made a small joke back. If he could laugh, she would accept his previous joke. But clearly, neither of their jokes could make the other laugh.

"Your Majesty, I was wrong." Akou was panting heavily as he ran. He was just a mage; without his special abilities, no warrior like Xia Xiang could outrun him.

—Half an hour later—

"Sign!" Xia Xiang forced Akou to sign the ticket with a stick. After everyone else had signed, they all looked at Akou's pitiful appearance with amusement.

"Do you still have any colleagues who love you? Are you still my brothers?!" Ah Kou cried as he signed his name on the ticket.

"I'll sell this one for a bit more," Xia Xiang said, holding up the ticket with a tear dripped from it by A-Kou. "It's for your die-hard fan!"

"Then if I cry a few more times, will Your Majesty forgive me?" A-Kou asked, his little eyes wide and watery.

"It depends on my mood!" Xia Xiang said irritably, annoyed by his appearance.

After A-Kou finished signing, Xia Xiang returned to her cute and polite self, thanking everyone sweetly, as if she hadn't been the one hitting people with a stick just moments before.

After school the next day

"Little sister, why did you call your older brother here?" Xia Tian asked, somewhat puzzled, looking at her enthusiastic older brother. "Doesn't he dislike the East City Guard?"

"It's okay, I like money," Xia Yu said with a smile. If Xia Xiang hadn't spoken up and told him that there was extra money to be made, he wouldn't have had time to come here.

Then the three of them went to the crowded playground, where Ren Chenwen and the others were already maintaining order.

"Alright, everyone, quiet down!" Xia Xiang took the lead, making Xia Yu seem more sophisticated. "Today's event isn't just about getting tickets to the Dong Cheng Wei concert!"

Mentioning Dongchengwei made the students below even more excited, and Xia Xiang almost lost control of the situation.

"We've secured autographed tickets from Dong Cheng Wei for everyone. Highest bidder wins." Xia Xiang stopped teasing. "Without further delay, please welcome our auctioneer, Mr. Xia Yu!"

"Ah!!!! Autographs!!!" A burst of excited shouts erupted below, demonstrating the immense popularity of Dong Cheng Wei.

Xia Yu's brows furrowed habitually at the noise, but seeing Xia Xiang happy and having money, he felt less annoyed.

"Here we go, the first one, signed by Xiu, the King of Electronic Music, starting bid 500." Xia Yu first showed it to the students in the front row, and then waited for them to start bidding.

"One thousand!" Ren Chenwen shouted excitedly.

Although Ren Chenwen was arranged by Xia Xiang as a plant, he really wanted it. Even on the black market, there are die-hard fans who would pay a high price for it.

"Fifteen thousand!" Student A bid.

"Two thousand five!" Student B immediately added one thousand.
