Chapter 27 Little Cotton-padded Jacket

Their task is to study in Ultimate Class, but it's definitely not that simple.

Therefore, the leader of the Ultimate Class should be the key. In order to get closer to Wang Da Dong, Xia Xiang directly bought a house near their home.

It was also thanks to the fact that all expenses were reimbursed when Xia Xiang carried out the mission on Bamo Island, otherwise, after living like a primitive person for several years, she would have been unable to survive in modern society.

Xia Xiang is now taking the first step towards Wang Da Dong, holding a small cookie in her hand.

"Hello, beautiful sister, I'm your new neighbor, my name is Xia Xiang." Xia Xiang, dressed in a white floral outfit, knocked on Wang Dadong's door. Wang Dadong's mother, Zeng Meihua, answered the door.

Huai'an stood calmly not far away, observing this scene.

"You're back?" A person shrouded in a black robe, whose face was completely hidden, spoke in a hoarse voice.

“It’s none of your business,” Huai’an frowned and glanced at him, her tone somewhat unfriendly.

"If you just stand there guarding it, it'll only attract attention. Let the people from the Gold Dimension guard it." The man in black robes also looked in the direction of Wang Da Dong's house.

At this moment, Xia Xiang had already followed Zeng Meihua inside.

You don't want all the work you've done before to be for nothing, do you?

"You'd better control yourself. If I find out you have any improper thoughts, I'll kill you." Huai'an's eyes were like swords as he looked sharply at the man in black.

"Don't worry, that part isn't here, and this body isn't under my control either," the man in black explained calmly, though it was unclear whether he was speaking to Huai'an or to himself.

"I really should have killed you from the very beginning, then none of this would have happened." Huai'an rarely showed murderous intent towards anyone.

He rarely experiences emotional fluctuations except when it comes to that brat Xia Xiang, but this person in front of him is different; he constantly regrets not killing him back then.

"Do you think you're the only one who's regretting this?" The man in black robes didn't turn around; his tone was sorrowful.

After saying that, he instantly teleported away.

...

"Hiss—" Ding Xiaoyu leaned against the wall, bent over slightly, and felt dizzy. She shook her head uncomfortably.

"Hey kid, need any help?" A cocky male voice rang out above him.

"No, thank you," Ding Xiaoyu replied with a frown, preparing to leave.

"You have to have him, whether you want him or not!" The man's face was full of ruthlessness as he ordered his henchmen behind him, "You guys, go and support him."

“Boss, we’re out here to extort money from others, why are we doing this kind of thing, helping mentally challenged teenagers? If word gets out, how will you ever be able to stay in this area…” Henchman A felt he needed to remind his boss to do something legitimate.

Before he could finish speaking, the boss slapped him hard across the head.

"You guys stop him, I'll rob him, what's the problem? Can't you even be someone's lackey?" The leader rolled his eyes, clearly disgusted with his clueless underling.

"Haha, boss is brilliant!" hey, henchman B chimed in, flattering him.

He then pointed at his underling, "You idiot, how dare you question the boss! You've got some nerve!"

He was about to slap him when his boss scolded him.

"Alright! Let's get started! I've observed him; this kid got paid for his part-time job today. If we don't rob him, someone else will."

"Yes, boss!" the two henchmen shouted back.

The three looked back in Ding Xiaoyu's direction, but the person who had been there was gone...

Ding Xiaoyu was already leaning against the wall, almost leaving the secluded alley.

"Chase!" The three of them immediately took off in pursuit.

Hearing their commotion, Ding Xiaoyu's brows furrowed with impatience, and she could barely contain her anger, which made her head ache even more.

"Kid! I was so nice to help you, and you don't appreciate it, huh?" The gang leader blocked Ding Xiaoyu's way and shoved him hard, sending him right in front of his two underlings.

The two henchmen understood and quickly grabbed Ding Xiaoyu's arms, holding him up.

"If you don't appreciate it, don't blame me for using violence." The leader smiled arrogantly.

Ding Xiaoyu didn't react at all; she just stared at him coldly, her gaze sending chills down his spine.

The gang leader realized he was frightened and immediately became enraged. Forgetting about the robbery, he slapped Ding Xiaoyu on the head.

But as he got close, Ding Xiaoyu firmly intercepted his wrist, preventing him from moving it even a fraction.

The leader's eyes widened in surprise as he realized that his two underlings had been pushed to the ground and were motionless.

“I hate violence the most—” Ding Xiaoyu’s eyes were icy cold, her dark eyes staring at him without any emotion. She tightened her grip on the gang leader’s hand slightly, and the sound of bones cracking and the gang leader’s scream rang out simultaneously—

"I feel much better," Ding Xiaoyu frowned, feeling that her head wasn't hurting as much, but then she realized something was wrong.

She gently patted her face with both hands. "I can't use violence. I hate violence the most. I can't use violence, I hate..."

Muttering to himself, he slowly walked away from the dark alley.

"What do you mean 'don't worry'? That bastard told me to relax?" Huai'an walked out from the corner, frowning in disgust.
