Hu Yanjing and Ren Chenfeng were taken to the school clinic by the teacher, and their parents were notified. As for how they would be disciplined when they got back, that was none of her business.
"Please forgive me, young master," Hu Yanli bowed and begged for forgiveness, now he was truly drenched in sweat.
"No need. It's inevitable for children to bump into each other. But next time, it's better to respect the child's own wishes." Jiu Wu's expression remained calm after watching the performance, revealing neither joy nor anger.
He initially thought it was just a conflict between children, but it was clear that both sets of parents hadn't done their job properly.
Those two had never interacted with the chubby boy before, so where did they get such a big grudge?
"Yes." Hu Yanli was very busy recently and didn't know much about Hu Yanjing's schooling, but he should be able to guess why.
Aunt Jiu was away on a business trip and hadn't returned. Uncle Jiu had always treated Ah Jing with a cold and hard attitude, just like he would treat a subordinate. So the mischievous boy didn't realize that this was just a normal school trip and thought he had been given a task.
"Don't be nervous," Jiu Wu chuckled at his nervous expression. "Your cousin's parents will definitely be here later, so I'll have to trouble you to explain the situation."
"If they don't want to, then so be it. Don't force the children."
"I'm going back to class. I'll ask for leave for you." Jiu Wu patted his friend's shoulder, reverting to his usual gentle demeanor.
Hu Yanli was very troubled, but the matter had already happened, and he had to resolve it as soon as possible.
The two then quietly left the abandoned school building...
After lunch break, Xia Xiang was comforted by the gentle teacher. She thought she wouldn't see two classmates who had been beaten up like pigs when she returned to the classroom, but to her surprise, the two were sitting bravely in their seats, attending class attentively.
The two were clearly still unconvinced, glaring at Xia Xiang, but this did not affect Xia Xiang's good mood at all.
Seeing Xia Xiang's calm demeanor, they would occasionally glance back at her with resentful eyes.
"You want to fight me again?" Xia Xiang found the two little things amusing.
The two of them turned around instantly and glared at Xia Xiang. Seeing the smile on her face made them even angrier.
Xia Xiang continued to tease the children: "If you don't answer, it means you want to fight. Don't leave after school, okay? I said I'd let you off the hook, but now I'm going to beat you so badly your families won't recognize you!"
"You've probably heard that I hit kids really hard."
The two looked at Xia Xiang with even more resentment and anger, then simply turned their heads away and ignored her.
After school, only Xia Xiang and the two people who had been challenged to a fight remained in the classroom.
Hu Yanjing and Ren Chenfeng had had enough of Xia Xiang's constant monologue. They exchanged a glance and said at the same time, "Let's fight!"
In the end, the two noobs lost, and this time they accepted their defeat wholeheartedly.
"I'm sorry," the two said at the same time, heads bowed. "What we did was really too much, and..." They didn't get any credit for themselves either.
Hu Yanli had just told the two families about today's situation, but the Ren family didn't react much.
They had a good relationship with the Xia family, and naturally, they weren't a family with strict rules.
Ren Chenfeng's family's attitude was to respect Ren Chenfeng's opinion. The reason they agreed to let Ren Chenfeng transfer to a school to accompany the little princess was only 60% of the reason. The remaining 40% was because the school was close to home. Who knew he would make that connection himself?
Hu Yanjing had a heart-to-heart talk with his usually tough father and then decided to stay.
Ren Chenfeng certainly didn't want to leave his new friend, so he planned to stay here as well.
Seeing that the two were not speaking, Xia Xiang did not want to waste any more time.
"No need. It's fine if you bully me, after all, I'm not easy to bully. But if you dare to bully others in the future, I'll show you what the legendary Xia Xiang is all about."
Xia Xiang straightened her shirt cuffs, picked up her schoolbag, and walked out. She could understand them; children value friendship highly.
They were supposed to go to a school for people with special abilities with their friends, but because she came to this unfamiliar school, it's normal for them to feel dissatisfied.
Xia Xiang should have gone to that specialized school, but the Xia Lanxingde family is currently in a semi-retired state, and her older brothers and sisters are all going to ordinary schools.
Her mother, Xiong Ge, wanted her to experience the wonderful time of ordinary people going to school, so she enrolled her in the school that was closest to her.
There are no other children of the same age with superpowers in the primary school section of this school. Perhaps to prevent Xia Xiang from feeling lonely, the leader specially selected two children from families with superpowers to transfer to the school.
The two of them vented their resentment on Xia Xiang because she had left their own friends.
Clearly, the leader misjudged Xia Xiang's popularity among children her age. Xia Xiang has extraordinary abilities, and in the eyes of outsiders, she is just a mischievous troublemaker. Therefore, her reputation among her peers is not good at all.
After Xia Xiang left, the two looked at each other in silence and followed her out of the classroom.
"We're really sorry, we're not the kind of people who would bully others, and this is the first time. We hope you don't misunderstand us and that we can be friends."
They were very angry and wanted to find an outlet for their emotions, but they also knew that there was probably no way to change the situation.
Judging from Xia Xiang's reaction, they knew she was probably unaware of the situation, and they couldn't blame everything on her.
Looking back now, the reason they were transferred here was probably because they had never fought with Xia Xiang before.
Actually, they also wanted to know what kind of bully Xia Xiang, who was invincible among her peers, really was. It would be even better if they could defeat her.
