"Huaiying!" Diablo's voice shook the entire Demon Palace.
Xia Xiang ignored him, and the scroll automatically moved to the top of the cage-like formation to begin absorbing energy.
"It's not that I'm weak, it's that I care about you too much. Every bit of energy you have is incredibly precious."
"Are you even upright anymore! How could you do this?" Diablo struggled as he tried to shake Xia Xiang's resolve.
“It’s none of your business,” Xia Xiang replied. “You have committed countless evils in your life, and it is an honor for me to use your energy.”
“We’ve worked together before!” Diablo roared.
"You're the one who breached the contract beforehand," Xia Xiang replied calmly.
Diablo was speechless for a moment, then said angrily, "They attacked first!"
"You started it," Xia Xiang rolled her eyes. "You're supposed to be the biggest villain, can't you have any shame?"
Just as Xia Xiang was about to seal the scroll after it had completely absorbed the energy, an unexpected event occurred.
The Demon Palace shook violently and collapsed completely. A black figure turned directly into the formation and absorbed the remaining energy.
