"Hey! Kids, this isn't a place for you." The security guard in black sternly warned them to leave.
"My brother is drunk, and he needs accommodation." Xia Xiang directly pulled out a black card.

"Since you are our hotel's ninety-ninth customer, we are giving you a permanent right to use a penthouse suite. Here is your room key; please keep it safe." The manager looked like he was involved in organized crime; his rugged face made his smile particularly menacing.
Xia Xiang and Ji An exchanged a glance: You're kidding, right?!
"Can I get cash instead?" Xia Xiang asked tentatively.
Manager: "...I'm afraid I need to apply to my boss for your request. Please take this and come back in three days, and I will give you an answer."
Xia Xiang's eyes lit up, and she reached out to take it, exclaiming, "Okay!"

Holding the room key in front of Ji An, he said, "See? That solves the money problem. I can even buy a car with the rest."

The cool morning breeze rustled the white gauze curtains, completely waking him up from his daze.
Rex jumped out of bed, slammed the window shut, and drew the curtains layer by layer until the room was completely dark before he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Boss, it's all here." The manager placed the computer and folders on the large desk.
Rex waved him out.
The computer contained surveillance video of him returning home last night, as well as Xia Xiang's registration information and bank card details for payments.
"Am I insane?" Rex said with a strange expression. "Or has the world gone mad?"
"Who would knock someone out and then book a hotel room for them? Weren't they chasing after him relentlessly, shouting and threatening to kill him before?"
The video showed the two people's faces several times, which made things even stranger.
Rex had no choice but to put down his water glass and take another laptop from the safe on the bookshelf behind him.

In the surveillance footage, the short man in black who knocked him unconscious climbed in through the window outside the room, sat on the single sofa in front of the French windows with his legs wrapped around his knees, kept watching him, and eventually fell asleep!
