Chapter 161 A Random Unlucky Guy

"Alright, hurry up and get that list out." Xia Xiang and her two friends squatted under the dim eaves.

"This is it." Ren Chenfeng opened a thick paper scroll and spread it out in front of Xia Xiang and Hu Yanjing. The first name was Yehenara Xiongba.

"How many points is this?" Xia Xiang screamed hoarsely, her trembling finger pointing to the first name on the list. "How many points did Xiong Ba get for killing Yehenara?"

Hu Yanjing rolled his eyes at Xia Xiang and continued flipping through the scroll. “You’re not mistaken, it’s zero points.”

"Is he really that lacking in prestige?" Xia Xiang asked, her eyes wide with disbelief.

“Of course not,” Ren Chenfeng explained, “It’s because someone actually tried to kill him to earn credits, so his score was reduced to zero.”

"Which warrior is it? I don't know him." Xia Xiang asked with interest.

"It's your brother Jiuwu," Huyan Jing said.

Xia Xiang's eyes widened: "What the heck! So who lost?"

"Both are alive and well, so it's probably a draw. It's hard to say who won or lost," Ren Chenfeng said.

“However, it should be said that Jiu Da Chang Lao Wu is stronger,” Hu Yan Jing said. “After all, there is a big age gap between the two. If they were the same age, Yehenara Xiong Ba would be gone in no time.”

She sighed quietly again, "But Jiu Wu simply won't live to that age."

Ren Chenfeng: Oh no! This kid is so honest!

She quietly tugged at her brother's clothes, trying to shut him up, but he didn't seem to notice.

After Hu Yanjing finished speaking, he felt the atmosphere was a bit cold. He stopped and saw Xia Xiang smiling coldly. He was about to explain something when Xia Xiang interrupted him and begged for mercy.

"Sister, I was wrong. Our brother will live to be a hundred years old, he will definitely be able to... Ah! Mmm!" Hu Yanjing was being rubbed by Xia Xiang, and he had to hold back his voice. His eyes turned red, and he looked at his two fake brothers with wet eyes.

"Let's go. Let's arrest that number 2653 today. I think what he did was despicable." Xia Xiang rubbed her wrist and pointed to the other side.

Hu Yanjing and Ren Chenfeng nodded and quietly followed.

——

"How's it going?" a strange man wearing a "peace" mask and a tuxedo asked, his hands behind his back.

"Sir, I did as you instructed, and the matter was settled. But then Li Daxiong asked the young master to be his guarantor, and now the young master's relationship with the Xia family has plummeted again." The thin, blond man beside him said respectfully, his back hunched.

"You can't even handle this simple task! Useless!" the masked man snapped. "In that case, you have no reason to live."

As she spoke, she slapped the man, who immediately convulsed on the ground in pain and fell silent a moment later.

The masked man vanished without a trace.

But they didn't notice that there were three pairs of bright eyes in the corner who had seen the whole thing.

"Brothers, you can rest easy now, right?" Xia Xiang stared blankly at the corpse. "We don't need to worry about the 2,653 people anymore. We have them right here, and they were killed by someone else."

"But will this fool Illusion Eye? That's not a human body, it's a corpse!" Ren Chenfeng asked.

“Okay,” Xia Xiang said, walking towards the corpse. “I can add some demonic energy to it, which will definitely satisfy Illusion Eye.”

"Why didn't he turn into black ash and disappear?" Hu Yanjing asked in confusion.

“Because he was a demonized human turned from a Muggle,” Xia Xiang squatted down and turned his face over.

Sure enough, it was that person.

She had been paying attention to him ever since she came back, because she couldn't believe that someone would come to work at her dad's shop, which was so poor.

But he really was just a Muggle, without any superpowers or demonic energy, yet he appeared on the territory of the Yehenara family, the largest demonized family in the Iron Dimension.

"How is that possible!" Ren Chenfeng said in disbelief.

"He was indeed a Muggle, but he used some drugs that turned him into something neither human nor ghost. Now he's completely a ghost," Xia Xiang said, reaching out to examine his corpse.

The three of them searched his entire body and found a medicine bottle.

"Take this back and let the people at the Academy of Sciences investigate it," Xia Xiang said, handing the body to Hu Yanjing. "Take his body with us, and we'll go to his house to take a look."

"Wait!" Hu Yanjing called out, frowning as if he wanted to say something but hesitated.

"What's wrong?" Xia Xiang cautiously sensed her surroundings, then crouched down and asked.

Ren Chenfeng also looked at Hu Yanjing, waiting for him to speak.

“I don’t think we can let number 2,653 go,” Hu Yanjing said, frowning. “The information here shows that he is involved in several Muggle disappearances. Since we’re already here, let’s go investigate.”

Xia Xiang turned the ring on her hand, looking somewhat troubled at the quietly lying corpse.

"I know a place, let's hide him there first."

So Xia Xiang led the two to the back garden of the Lanling King's family and hid the body in the flower bushes where she had been crouching earlier.

"It's a bit far from there, but it's relatively safe. Let's go and come back quickly." Xia Xiang patted the grass clippings off her clothes.

Hu Yanjing turned and looked around. "Where is this? You have a place to stay all around here???"

"I already told you I'm an undercover agent, but you just wouldn't believe me." Xia Xiang also turned her head to look, but didn't see anyone or any lights. Thinking that they probably weren't home and she didn't need to explain, she felt much more at ease.

"Let's go, just leave him here."
