"What exactly do you want!" The rooster-headed man roared at Xia Xiang with fierce eyes and gritted teeth. His scarred face made him look rather frightening.
"I didn't mean anything by it. I just saw you guys living so comfortably, so I wanted to help you break the monotony of prison life." Xia Xiang sat in a chair, crossing her legs.
As Xia Xiang spoke, she threw the familiar itchy powder bomb into their private room, while the unshaven Hao Ge simply sat cross-legged on the narrow bed, motionless, as if accepting his fate of being tortured.
This time, no screams came from the private room. After the pale yellow smoke dissipated, the rooster-headed man lay motionless on the ground without a sound.
"You shouldn't have brought me back," Hao Ge said, opening his eyes and bursting into tears. His voice was filled with grievance.
"Do you know what I've been through all these years?! It was so hard to get promoted in that hellhole. I was just a little bit away from becoming a trusted confidant of their Holy War Guard Commander."
"Didn't you come back on your own?" Xia Xiang ignored his complaints and gave him the last antidote. "Besides, becoming his confidant isn't good either; the Gulaier family is about to be wiped out."
Brother Hao, or rather, the former captain of the South City Guard, was extremely shocked.
The Gulaier family is going to be wiped out?! How could that be!
“After you take the medicine, the chip in your brain will be rendered unusable,” Xia Xiang said, frowning. “As for your demonic powers, that will require a long-term treatment process.”
"Removing demonic energy from your blood is even more painful than drug withdrawal in Muggles. Are you sure you can endure it?"
These superpowered individuals who have become possessed by evil are different from the original demonized people. They can eliminate their demonic nature by controlling their superpowers, but it is extremely painful.
Hao Ge was just a demonized human who was captured, and that guy replaced him.
"I made up my mind the day I went undercover," the guy replied with a smile.
"Ointment, for removing scars." Xia Xiang looked at the dense scars on his exposed skin and felt a pang of pity. It would be such a waste to ruin such a handsome face.
"I'm really sorry about what happened before. Only a strong enough stimulus could damage that chip and make you suffer."
The chip is implanted directly into the cerebral cortex. Only when the individual generates a sufficiently strong stimulus can the chip be destroyed, thus freeing them from its control and preventing remote manipulation that could destroy them.
"This little bit of suffering is nothing," the guy smiled, but still took the ointment. The prison guard opened the cell door and let the guy out.
Xia Xiang opened her arms and smiled, "Welcome back."
The guy smiled back, but in the blink of an eye, his large hand had already grabbed Xia Xiang's neck.
"Don't move!"
The prison guards were startled by this sudden turn of events and immediately raised the alarm, which immediately set off the alarm bells in the cell.
"Hey, I'm not moving. You, you loosen your grip a little, I'm about to stop breathing." Xia Xiang said with difficulty, her face flushed from suffocation.
"Hahahaha, I did it on purpose, I did it on purpose!" The guy laughed maniacally.

"Why?" Xia Xiang asked, puzzled. She couldn't understand why he would resent her.

"I really didn't know," Xia Xiang said innocently. "I'm the one who always makes you run errands to buy food?"
The guy said, "No!"
"Why is that? I haven't even said anything about you yet! Every time I'm in danger, you're the one who has to go to the bathroom!" Xia Xiang said angrily.
"Shut up!" The guy tightened his grip on Xia Xiang's neck.
