Is that really the case?
Qin Feng frowned slightly. Although Qing Lan's words made sense, he remained skeptical.
Seeing that Qin Feng didn't believe her, Qinglan chuckled. "Then tell me, are there any other possibilities?"
Qin Feng glanced at Qing Lan and pursed his lips. "I don't know!"
"Hmph!" Qinglan snorted coldly. "If you don't know, then why are you questioning me?"
"Since you doubt me, then I'll leave now!"
Qin Feng looked at Qing Lan with a half-smile. "What? You want to breach the contract?"
"Do you think that because I didn't make you swear an oath of the Great Dao and placed no restrictions on you, I can't control you?"
Qinglan said calmly, "I didn't mean to break the contract. I'm just very upset that you've never trusted me and have always doubted me!"
Qin Feng chuckled. "Don't be so petty. Isn't it normal that they don't trust you?"
"Alright, enough with the nonsense!"
"Should we change direction next?"
"After all, we haven't seen any living beings along the way, which is too abnormal!"
"I am merely your maid; you do not need to consult me on what to do!" Qinglan said expressionlessly.
Qin Feng glanced at Qing Lan, but didn't intend to argue with her.
He pondered for a while, and finally decided to change direction, taking Qinglan with him and fleeing to the left.
And so, Qin Feng and Qing Lan continued flying for an unknown amount of time.
Just as Qin Feng was about to lose his patience, a loud "boom" suddenly came from directly in front of them.
Qin Feng and Qing Lan were both startled by the loud noise and stopped simultaneously.
Immediately afterwards, the two of them released their divine senses and probed forward.
Their powerful divine senses were like an invisible yet incredibly resilient net, constantly extending and spreading in all directions.
Soon, their divine senses, like keen detectors, captured the exceptionally intense battle scene ahead.
When they followed the guidance of their divine senses and cast their gazes in that direction, they found the two Spirit Race members, Lingzhi and Lingke, engaged in a thrilling battle.
Lingzhi's figure was light and graceful, and her long hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall, swaying gently with her movements.
She gripped a longsword that gleamed with an eerie light, its blade adorned with flowing runes that seemed to contain a mysterious power.
Lingke, on the other hand, was a burly and imposing figure, standing there like a small mountain. He held a giant axe, the blade of which gleamed with a cold light and exuded a chilling aura.
At this moment, the two of them were in a pincer movement, tightly trapping a powerful magical beast in the middle.
The monster was enormous, like a moving mountain. Its body was covered with jet-black scales, each scale shimmering with an eerie luster, as if it were made of the hardest metal.
It exuded a terrifying aura, an aura from ancient times, full of destructive power, which sent chills down one's spine.
With each attack, its thick limbs slammed into the ground, instantly cracking it and sending huge fissures spreading outwards.
Each swing of its wings stirs up a gust of wind, howling as if a demon from hell is roaring.
The surrounding space was distorted and deformed by this powerful impact, and spatial cracks like black threads appeared, as if they could swallow everything at any moment.
Despite facing such a powerful magical beast, Lingzhi and Lingke showed no sign of backing down.
Ling Zhi shouted, her long sword dancing like a serpent, sending sharp sword energies shooting towards the demonic beast.
The sword energy streaked through the air in brilliant streaks, like shooting stars streaking across the night sky.
Lingke roared and swung his giant axe at the monster.
The giant axe whistled through the air, as if it were about to cleave the monster in two.
The monster was not to be outdone. It opened its blood-red maw and let out a deafening roar. A huge flame shot out from its mouth and swept towards Lingzhi and Lingke.
Wherever the flames passed, the air was burned and distorted, making a sizzling sound.
Upon seeing that it was Ling Zhi and Ling Ke, Qin Feng was taken aback. "These two are actually still alive, and they've even entered the Primordial Origin Realm. It seems I underestimated them before!"
Hearing Qin Feng's words, Qing Lan turned her head to look at him and asked, "Are they your friends? Do you need me to help them?"
Although Lingzhi and Lingke were both quite strong, she could tell that they were no match for that magical beast.
If the monsters find an opportunity, even if Lingzhi and Lingke are lucky enough to survive, they will definitely be seriously injured.
Qin Feng raised an eyebrow slightly and said truthfully, "They are my enemies!"
Qinglan was stunned for a moment, then fell silent.
Qin Feng stood quietly, a playful smile unconsciously appearing at the corner of his mouth, a smile that seemed to conceal countless unfathomable thoughts.
His eyes narrowed slightly, his divine sense constantly monitoring the intense battle between Lingzhi and the demonic beast.
On the battlefield, Lingzhi and Lingke are engaged in a fierce battle with a powerful magical beast.
Lingzhi's figure was light and agile, like a fairy darting through the forest. The long sword in her hand gleamed with a cold light, and each swing carried a sharp momentum.
Lingke stood like a towering mountain, radiating an aura of unwavering resolve. He raised his giant axe high and brought it down with tremendous force, each strike carrying immense power.
The two worked together seamlessly, fighting valiantly against the monster's frenzied attacks.
However, this monster was far too powerful. It was enormous, its body covered in scales as hard as iron, and each roar seemed to shake the earth.
Its claws are incredibly sharp, like blades that can easily slice through the air;
The flames it spews are incredibly hot, and everything in its path is burned to ashes.
Under the powerful attacks of the monsters, Lingzhi and Lingke gradually became overwhelmed. Their movements became sluggish, and their foreheads were covered with fine beads of sweat.
Just then, the monster roared and spewed out a thick stream of flame that swept towards Lingzhi.
Lingzhi's eyes sharpened, and she quickly dodged.
However, while dodging, she was accidentally struck by the monster's claws.
With a loud "bang," Lingzhi's body flew far away like a kite with a broken string, crashing heavily to the ground.
A trickle of blood escaped from the corner of her mouth, and her face turned as pale as paper.
Upon seeing this, Lingke's eyes instantly turned bloodshot, and flames of anger burned fiercely within them.
He roared, like a wild beast enraged, and swung his giant axe even more fiercely.
With axe flashing and wind whistling, his attack swept towards the monster like a storm. Under his fierce assault, the monster was forced to retreat a few steps.
At this moment, Qin Feng stroked his chin with both hands, a thoughtful expression in his eyes. He was constantly calculating in his mind: if he helped them now, perhaps he could get some useful information from them?
After all, it seems that these two Spirit Race members were instructed to search for the fragments of the Primordial Chaos Realm map.
Perhaps they will know the exact location of the World Tree?
