Chapter 865 A Tool, Fearless and Unafraid

"You...you found the Iron-Eating Beast?"

Qin Feng's voice was filled with shock, as if he had heard the most unbelievable thing in the world. His brain was even a beat slow, and it took him a while to realize the key information in the purple-robed old man's words, "Childhood!"

The old man in purple robes nodded slightly, raised his right hand, and pointed to a spot about 500 meters ahead. "It's there, currently unconscious!"

Qin Feng hurriedly looked over, but was greatly disappointed to find that there was nothing there.

With the massive size of the Iron-Eating Beast, even in a dark environment, how could it not see at a distance of only about 500 meters?

"Senior, are you sure you're not mistaken? I can't see anything at all," Qin Feng asked, full of doubt.

The purple-robed elder glanced at Qin Feng and explained unhurriedly, "The Iron-Eating Beast's body has shrunk to the size of a palm!"

After saying that, the purple-robed elder rode his flying sword like a meteor towards the location of the Iron-Eating Beast.

After the flying sword landed, Qin Feng finally saw the Iron-Eating Beast, which had shrunk to the size of a palm. He couldn't help but widen his eyes in surprise, never expecting that the Iron-Eating Beast could become so small!

Was this a change it made on its own initiative, or a passive change caused by severe injury?

Qin Feng didn't think too much about it. He immediately bent down, carefully picked up the Iron-Eating Beast, and hugged it tightly in his arms.

The Iron-Eating Beast was severely injured and its life was hanging by a thread. Qin Feng frowned, hesitated for a moment, then looked at the purple-robed elder and asked anxiously, "Senior, do you have any healing pills? If so, could you please give me one?"

The old man in purple robes smiled and replied, "Of course!"

Then, as if by magic, he produced a pill that emitted a mesmerizing light, like a dazzling pearl.

Qin Feng quickly thanked him, took the pill, and fed it to the Iron-Eating Beast without hesitation.

After swallowing the pill, Qin Feng finally breathed a sigh of relief. Although the pill could not completely cure the Iron-Eating Beast, it could at least temporarily save its life.

The purple-robed elder looked at Qin Feng and the Iron-Eating Beast, smiled slightly, and then rode his flying sword, carrying the two of them away like a bolt of lightning.

Qin Feng stared intently at the Iron-Eating Beast for a long time, and only felt slightly relieved after confirming that it was no longer in danger of dying.

His gaze then shifted to the back of the purple-robed elder, and he pondered to himself, "How was he able to retain his cultivation level to enter the Tomb of the Gods?"

"Could it be that the powerful barrier at the entrance has no effect on the Elven race?"

"How is this possible?"

Just then, the old man in purple robes seemed to sense something and turned around, meeting Qin Feng's gaze. Qin Feng was startled at first, then quickly looked away.

The purple-robed elder looked at Qin Feng with a half-smile and asked, "You want to ask me why I was able to retain my cultivation to enter the Tomb of the Gods, right?"

Qin Feng frowned slightly, thinking to himself, "Could this old guy be able to read minds?"

He hesitated for a moment, then nodded and admitted, "That's right!"

The old man in purple robes chuckled, "Actually, it wouldn't hurt to tell you, but it involves my clan's secrets, so you'd better not ask!"

The secrets of the Eldar?

Qin Feng raised an eyebrow slightly, which made him even more curious, but he had to forcefully suppress his curiosity.

After all, when you're under someone else's roof, you have to bow your head; it's best to avoid provoking them.

...

About an hour later, when the old man in purple robes flew above a black mountain that was a thousand meters high, he suddenly stopped.

Just as Qin Feng was about to ask a question, a dark shadow suddenly appeared halfway up the mountain and was right in front of him in an instant.

The newcomer was a burly man in black robes, riding a flying sword.

Qin Feng recognized him at a glance: a member of the Spirit Clan!

Another Eldar!

Qin Feng's heart sank. Just how many Spirit Race members had broken into the Tomb of the Gods? And all of them had retained their cultivation?

The burly man in black robes glanced at Qin Feng, then froze in astonishment. "Eighth Elder, why do you bring a human ant with you?"

The purple-robed elder's lips curled slightly. "Could it be that you didn't notice this young man possesses a Five Elements Spiritual Body?"

"What?!" The burly man in black robes stared at Qin Feng in astonishment, exclaiming in disbelief. "It really is... the Five Elements Spiritual Body!"

The old man in purple robes didn't reply. He simply said, "Let's go," and then, like a bolt of purple lightning, he rode his flying sword and sped off forward.

Without hesitation, the burly man in black robes followed closely behind, riding his flying sword like a shadow.

Once the black-robed giant caught up, Qin Feng's gaze, like that of a hawk, was fixed on the flying sword beneath the giant's feet.

He had already met three members of the Spirit Race, all of whom used flying swords for transportation rather than flying through the air.

This made him wonder! Flying through the air consumes very little spiritual or immortal energy.

If the purple-robed elder and the gray-robed giant truly retained their cultivation, why bother with all this?

He felt there must be something strange about it!

The burly man in black robes noticed Qin Feng's gaze, and his face, as black as the bottom of a pot, instantly darkened. He angrily questioned, "Human ant, what are you looking at?"

Qin Feng merely glanced at the burly man in black robes and replied calmly, "I didn't see anything!"

He knew that the purple-robed elder still needed his help to enter and exit the Five Elements Shocking God Formation, so he was naturally fearless.

What kind of attitude is this?

The burly man in black robes glared fiercely at Qin Feng, his brows furrowed and eyes wide with anger. He forced out a sentence through gritted teeth, "Do you think that just because you're somewhat useful, I won't dare to kill you?"

Qin Feng remained unmoved, merely shrugging indifferently and saying nonchalantly, "Kill me if you want!"

"You..." The black-robed man was so angry that his face turned as red as a pig's liver, and his body trembled like a leaf.

Just then, the purple-robed elder finally spoke slowly: "Greedy Bear, what's the point of arguing with a mere human reptile?"

Upon hearing this, Tan Xiong felt as if he had been enlightened. He took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing the urge to tear Qin Feng to pieces. He then glared fiercely at Qin Feng before closing his eyes and pretending to sleep.

He really didn't want to see Qin Feng's disgusting, arrogant face anymore, fearing that he might lose his temper and kill this tool on the spot.

Qin Feng glanced sideways at Tan Xiong, then turned his gaze to the purple-robed elder and said, "Senior, please grant me two more healing pills!"

The purple-robed elder scrutinized Qin Feng before reluctantly taking out two healing pills and handing them over, while warning, "Boy, I advise you to behave yourself!"

"You are still of some use to me, but I can't live without you. Do you understand?"

Qin Feng sneered inwardly. If he didn't know the other party's intentions, he might have been fooled.

Unfortunately, this Five Elements Divine Array truly requires him.

However, he was naturally not foolish enough to point it out, so he simply pretended to be submissive and nodded in agreement.
