Qin Feng suddenly stopped and stared at the willow tree, which was larger than he had ever imagined.
He had never seen such a huge willow tree in his life. A strong intuition welled up in his heart: the willow tree in front of him must be extraordinary.
In a short while, Qin Feng's gaze shifted to the courtyard house.
In this strange place stands a courtyard house, could it be the ruler of this space?
Qin Feng's expression was unpredictable, changing rapidly before he finally started walking towards the courtyard house.
Before long, Qin Feng arrived at the willow tree.
He looked up and saw an eerie red light shimmering between the willow branches and leaves, and a sense of unease immediately gripped him. That sinister red light filled him with unease, as if foreshadowing endless danger.
He involuntarily took a few steps back, and when he looked up again, he was horrified to find that the red light among the branches and leaves had vanished into thin air.
It was as if what I had just seen was merely an illusionary dream.
"No! This doesn't seem like a hallucination!"
Qin Feng murmured to himself, his brows furrowed, his expression shifting between light and shadow as he gazed at the courtyard house ahead.
He stood before the courtyard house, his heart filled with hesitation and inner turmoil. Should he risk entering this mysterious courtyard?
Perhaps with good fortune, we might find a way to escape this strange space.
After much deliberation, he finally gritted his teeth and made a decision, resolutely taking steps towards the interior of the courtyard house.
Although he knew nothing about the situation inside the hospital, he was well aware of the principle that opportunities are fleeting and not to be missed, and was unwilling to easily give up any possible chance.
Just as he stepped into the courtyard, a gust of wind carrying a strong, pungent smell of blood suddenly rushed towards him. Qin Feng's heart tightened, and he instantly became alert, gripping the Five Elements Sword tightly and quickly scanning his surroundings.
The surroundings were dilapidated and chaotic, but there was no trace of anything of value.
However, Qin Feng was not discouraged. He carefully examined everything he saw several times with his eyes narrowed to the micrometer, and only after confirming that he had indeed gained nothing did he step forward.
The entire courtyard house has nine rooms. He pondered to himself, "Could it be that I really can't find a single useful clue here? Or is there nothing of value here at all?"
With unwavering determination, Qin Feng searched four of the rooms in the next ten minutes, but the results were still disappointing—he failed to find any clues whatsoever.
However, Qin Feng was not discouraged, after all, he had only come in with the intention of trying his luck.
Even if he couldn't find any useful clues, he would be extremely disappointed, but he would never give up that sliver of hope.
Even though this space is full of strangeness, he firmly believes that there must be a way to leave, but he just hasn't found it yet.
Qin Feng took a deep breath and continued searching the remaining rooms.
Unfortunately, the result was very disappointing; there were no valuable clues or items found. He sighed helplessly, a bitter smile on his face, and slowly walked out of the courtyard.
How could a way to leave this strange space be found so easily?
Stepping out of the courtyard, Qin Feng stared at the willow tree in front of him, its presence seemingly strange.
Especially that red light he glimpsed flashing through the willow branches just now—if it wasn't an illusion, then what was it?
Qin Feng circled the willow tree several times, carefully observing every detail of it.
Suddenly, he noticed a small, barely noticeable hole at the base of the willow tree, emitting a faint light.
He crouched down and gently touched the bark around the small hole, feeling a strange energy fluctuation.
What could this be?
Qin Feng stared curiously at the small hole, muttering to himself, "Could it be that this willow tree has become a spirit?"
Just as Qin Feng was lost in thought, a dazzling green light suddenly shot out from the small hole, moving with lightning speed, and grazed Qin Feng's left cheek.
This sudden turn of events startled Qin Feng. He trembled and jumped up like a frightened rabbit, then quickly turned around to check the situation.
When he saw the scene before him clearly, he couldn't help but gasp – without him noticing, an old man had appeared behind him!
The old man was tall and thin, like a telephone pole, with a full head of silver hair that cascaded down his shoulders like a waterfall;
He had a long white beard that fluttered in the wind, and he wore a blue robe, which gave him a rather otherworldly and ethereal appearance.
Qin Feng frowned deeply, staring warily at the mysterious old man before him. He knew very well that this old man was definitely not simple!
The old man smiled and leisurely looked Qin Feng up and down. After a while, he asked, "Little guy, you seem to be afraid of me?"
Qin Feng's eyes were cold, and he curled his lips into a disdainful snort: "How could I not be startled by your sudden appearance here!"
"Hehe, is that so?" The old man slowly stroked his beard with his right hand, his eyes narrowing slightly, like two long, narrow slits.
"You don't need to be so nervous, I have no ill intentions towards you!"
Qin Feng was not about to believe this explanation so easily. His eyes flickered, and his tone carried a hint of wariness: "I hope so. I hope what you say is true, otherwise... hmph..."
The old man's eyes, which had been narrowed to slits, suddenly widened, a hint of interest flashing in them. He stared at Qin Feng with a half-smile and teased, "Little brat, if I harbored ill intentions and wanted to harm you, how would you respond?"
Qin Feng's face instantly darkened, and he suddenly raised the Five Elements Sword he was gripping, pointing it directly at the old man. A chilling killing intent emanated from his body as he said sharply, "Then you are welcome to try!"
"Haha, how utterly amusing!" The old man's face was full of contempt and disdain. "Could it be that your so-called courage stems from that supreme artifact you possess?"
Then, he provocatively asked, "If I told you that even with such a peerless weapon in your hands, you couldn't harm me in the slightest, would you believe me?"
Qin Feng was actually very nervous, but he pretended to be calm and replied without showing any weakness, "I don't believe it!"
"Enough talk, let's get started!"
"Who are you trying to scare?"
The old man smiled enigmatically. "Young man, you've got guts, but unfortunately you're just an ordinary mortal!"
"Little brat, kneel down!"
Before the old man could finish speaking, a terrifying aura rushed towards Qin Feng.
Faced with this overwhelming force, Qin Feng was powerless to resist and was forced to the ground with a thud.
It felt like Mount Tai was pressing down on him; all the bones in his body were cracking, and he felt like he would be reduced to ashes in the next second.
