The third group of the security department has a total of seven people.
Each member of the security department had a different area of duty, and Jiang Tiecheng was assigned to inspect the gatehouse.
This job looks very easy.
Jiang Tiecheng was a little surprised. Shouldn't he, as a newcomer, be assigned some more challenging tasks?
Why start talking about retirement right from the start?
Although it was unexpected, Jiang Tiecheng did not refute it.
After all, there was no need to argue about such an easy job, and he had already become familiar with the gatekeeper in just one morning.
The main reason is that their older brother is an old acquaintance. The last time Jiang Tiecheng came to the machinery factory, it was this older brother who helped him make a phone call to the security department.
The two are now in the same class, so there's no awkwardness between them.
"You're here for work, kid?"
Old Liu patted Jiang Tiecheng on the shoulder; the kid had left a deep impression on him.
“Brother Liu, I’m here for work. I can keep you company at the gatehouse.”
"They assigned you to the gatehouse?"
There was actually a hint of sympathy in Old Liu's eyes.
"Yes, this job is pretty good, quite easy, right at the door."
"And it doesn't need to be exposed to the wind or the sun, I think it's pretty good."
Jiang Tiecheng is still unaware of what's going on here, but he wants to get some information out of Lao Liu.
"Good my ass, these bastards only gave you this job because they think you're new."
Old Liu was so angry he kept cursing.
"What's the explanation for this, Brother Liu?"
"There are many different opinions about this. You know, the most offending position in the security department is the gatekeeper at the entrance!"
"You're in the security department, so what are your responsibilities?"
Jiang Tiecheng remembered that when he reported for duty, the section chief gave him a small notebook containing the factory's rules and regulations.
He was made to memorize this, because they operate according to rules and regulations.
"Our duty is to protect state property and the lives of our factory workers."
"Yes, protect collective property. Think about what collective property is."
Collective property is simply all the public property belonging to our factory!
Jiang Tiecheng felt that he had no problem understanding the concepts.
"Yes!
But do you know why all the employees in our machine factory are doing well financially?
"High salary?"
What else could it be?
If it's not because of the high salary, then what is it?
These days, buying and selling are not allowed.
"How high can our salaries be?"
Everyone's salary is about the same, 18.5 yuan a month, how much higher can it be?
Of course, a level 13 worker can drive at 70 or 80, but you have to work your way up to level 13 first.
"Even if you put all the workers in our factory—over ten thousand people—you couldn't find more than 100 who meet the 13th grade standard."
Jiang Tiecheng had worked in a factory in his previous life. Although there were some differences between steel mills and machinery factories, they were essentially the same.
"I understand. Our employees have extra income."
He immediately remembered that he had done many things that damaged collective property in his past life.
The main problem was that everyone was poor, so poor that they had to tighten their belts. Therefore, when going to and from get off work, they inevitably wore two iron bars in their belts.
You can get a few cents by sending it to a scrap metal recycling station.
Of course, everyone thinks they are handling waste materials, but little by little, these waste materials piled up in the factory, even though they cannot be used to process products.
However, the factory also needs to convert these waste materials into working capital, but most of these waste materials end up in the workers' pockets.
Jiang Tiecheng immediately understood.
"I understand, this is a job that will offend people."
He works in the security department. What do the officers in the security department do?
The security officer at this gatehouse supervises the workers every day on his way to and from get off work, preventing them from taking any public property belonging to the factory out of the premises.
Back then, I would always avoid the security officer at the gatehouse.
He said, "Why would these people give me such an easy job?"
So that's where the real problem lies.
"Brother Liu, thank you, I understand."
"You understand, but let me tell you, this is a job that will offend people."
The last security guard on duty at the gatehouse offended a worker and was followed in the middle of the night, resulting in his head being smashed open.
The security officer before me got into an argument with someone at the gatehouse, and ended up having his leg broken.
Well, this is a high-risk profession.
"Brother Liu, don't worry, I know what I'm doing!"
What do you know?
I've known about your great achievements for a long time. Yesterday, you really offended everyone in this factory.
If you offend Ma Kui, it's the same as offending everyone in the factory. I'm warning you.
I reckon Deputy Factory Director Ma has sent people there to catch you doing something wrong. If you let someone take things out of the factory, then it will be your dereliction of duty.
If you find the items and the workers are punished, they will hate you.
I'll get my revenge on you sooner or later.
Anyway, they're killing two birds with one stone. You were quite the smooth operator when you came to see me the other day, so how did you end up offending Ma Kui?
Old Liu sighed a little, looking at the young man, he didn't seem like someone who didn't know his own brain.
"Brother Liu, don't worry, I know what I'm doing."
Old Liu fell silent. This was an unsolvable problem; he neither had the ability nor the brains to help Jiang Tiecheng break the deadlock.
After lunch, at 3 pm.
The early shift workers were about to leave, and the entrance immediately became lively.
