Chapter 28 is all about picking a fight with me, Old Zhang.

Jiang Tiecheng knew the urgency of the situation the moment he saw it on Lao Zhang, because the panel showed that Lao Zhang's son, Da Bao, would die from choking on a peanut within two minutes.

Old Zhang's wife was also woken up by someone pinching her philtrum. When she saw that her son was alive, she burst into tears.

He knelt down and kowtowed repeatedly to Jiang Tiecheng.

"Comrade, thank you, thank you. If it weren't for you saving my baby today, I would have wanted to die."

Jiang Tiecheng quickly helped the person up.

"Sister-in-law, please don't do this."

No one would stand idly by in such a situation.

The surrounding workers were speechless. They had been shouting and threatening to kill each other, but now they realized that the people had come to rescue people.

Old Zhang hurriedly handed the child to his wife, stood up, grasped Jiang Tiecheng's hand tightly, and repeatedly expressed his gratitude.

"Comrade Jiang Tiecheng, thank you, thank you. If it weren't for you, my child would be gone."

Old Zhang felt incredibly guilty thinking about how he had just made things difficult for Jiang Tiecheng.

"Come back to me this afternoon to collect the remaining food coupons and subsidies."

Jiang Tiecheng smiled and accepted it, patting Old Zhang on the shoulder and saying,

"Old Zhang, the child's throat was injured by peanuts, so he needs to eat light porridge for the next couple of days to let it heal."

With that, he turned and pushed everyone away, leaving. Watching Jiang Tiecheng's retreating figure, Old Zhang slapped himself hard across the face.

He addressed the workers who had gathered around,

The group left awkwardly.
