"Uncle Chen, why do you need to see Dr. Jiang? Are you feeling unwell, or..."
Ouyang Chang'an was taken aback, wondering what had happened.
"Yes, Old Chen, are you feeling unwell?"
Grandpa Ouyang asked his son to help Old Chen sit down on the sofa.
"I'm not feeling unwell, I don't feel unwell at all, I just have to go see Dr. Jiang."
What he told me yesterday has already come true halfway today.
I have to find him. I have to get him to tell me what to do next. Is there any hope for our eldest child?
Listening to these incoherent words, Ouyang Chang'an looked bewildered and glanced back at his father.
But then Old Master Ouyang remembered what Dr. Jiang had said yesterday and suddenly understood.
"You mean your eldest child has a health problem?"
“I didn’t take it seriously. I mentioned it to my eldest son and his wife last night and suggested they get a medical check-up.”
Whether something's wrong or not, you always need to put your mind at ease, but who would have thought that today, during their physical examination, it turned out that their eldest son did indeed have a health problem.
I'm currently hospitalized and scheduled for a gastroscopy tomorrow.
"You don't know, Dr. Jiang told me to go back and take my eldest son for a physical examination."
I even scolded them back then, but now that I think about it, I was really blind to their abilities.
"Just because someone is young doesn't mean they're not serious about them. Dr. Jiang is truly capable."
"I must find Doctor Jiang, Chang'an. You invited him, so hurry!"
You surely know where people live.
Grandpa Ouyang nodded.
“Chang’an, you must know, why don’t you take Uncle Chen with you? It’s not like Dr. Jiang is uneasy about him being like this.”
Ouyang Chengan nodded and took the old man out with him.
The two walked out the door, and Old Master Ouyang sighed.
"What kind of situation is this?"
How come Xiao Jiang is so amazing?
That casual remark actually hit the nail on the head.
Could this child really be a fortune teller?
Grandma Ouyang was so angry she laughed.
"What nonsense are you spouting? That child is clearly a doctor, how did he become a fortune teller?"
He's a legitimate doctor; he's the one who performed your surgery. If you say that, wouldn't that make others look down on Dr. Jiang?
"Let me tell you, Xiao Jiang saved your life. We can't do anything ungrateful."
"This is not what I said. How could I be talking nonsense?"
Yesterday, Xiao Jiang shook hands with Lao Chen and then told Lao Chen that he would take Lao Chen's eldest son for a check-up when he got back.
They said that if he didn't get checked, Old Chen would have to endure the pain of losing his son a year later.
What do you mean by that?
Old Chen immediately frowned and scolded Xiao Jiang. I had to coax and trick him into leaving.
"But look at Old Chen today, doesn't that mean the kid was right?"
The old lady was stunned for a moment.
"Could that child really be a fortune teller?"
The fifth son, Ouyang Huainan, was stunned for a moment; there was too much information in his parents' words.
"Mom and Dad, is this Dr. Jiang who can tell fortunes the same Dr. Jiang who performed surgery on my dad?"
The old man nodded.
"He is that young doctor Jiang. I have high hopes for this young man."
But to his surprise, one of his rambling remarks angered Old Chen, and as a result, Old Chen went to see him again today, his face flushed with anger.
It makes me feel like something's going on in there.
Ouyang Huainan said with a complicated expression,
"Mom and Dad, you may not know that the person who looks exactly like my second brother is Dr. Jiang."
Grandpa Ouyang and Grandma Ouyang were stunned, as if struck by lightning.
"That's impossible! How could this young Dr. Jiang possibly be one?"
The old lady slapped her thigh.
"No wonder I felt that Dr. Jiang looked familiar from the first time I met him."
Now I remember, Dr. Jiang always wore a mask when she saw us. Was that kid doing it on purpose?
His eyes are exactly the same as the eyes of the eldest brother, the second eldest brother, and all of you.
Just like your father's eyes.
The old lady stood up shakily.
"No, Fifth Brother, you drive. Let's go."
Ouyang Huainan quickly helped his mother up.
"Mom, let's not go now."
If you go to the hospital like this, there will be so many people there, and lots of gossip will spread. What if some bad news gets out?
My older brother has made all the preparations and arranged for Dr. Jiang to come to our house tomorrow.
The old man also realized what was happening.
"Is it really Dr. Jiang?"
"I don't know if it's true or not. I had something to do that day and didn't see Dr. Jiang, but my eldest brother and fourth brother did."
They say she looks exactly like her second brother.
"Then it must be! It must be!"
The elderly couple were so excited they didn't know what to do.
Tomorrow feels like an eternity.
Jiang Tiecheng is currently at the guesthouse; his mission is complete.
He has already agreed to visit Ouyang Chang'an's home tomorrow.
He knew that this was a special arrangement by Ouyang Chang'an, so that he could take advantage of being a guest to formally meet the old man and the old lady.
In reality, this was a disguised family reunion. The excitement in Ouyang Chang'an's expression every time he saw him was genuine.
Jiang Tiecheng knew this matter needed to be resolved; he needed to see his family's attitude no matter what.
He also wanted to know why they had thrown him away back then.
Perhaps after he learned about his origins, he would have a glimmer of hope for his biological parents.
