Chapter 486 You've got some nerve.

The men nearby chuckled.

"Girl, hurry up and drink. Brother Jun is a rare and reliable support."

"If you go with him, it's a blessing for you."

"Otherwise, with that old man in your family being such a burden, you probably wouldn't even know how you died."

"Come on, let's have a drink."

A group of men started jeering.

Xiaoqing was so frightened that she trembled all over and her eyes turned red.

She had never drunk alcohol before, and just smelling the alcohol made her feel dizzy.

One can only imagine what would happen if one drank this large bowl of wine.

His gaze swept over those pairs of malicious eyes.

Jun Ge had a cold smile on his lips, and his eyes were like knives staring at the girl in front of him.

He enjoys seeing the other person's helpless yet resentful expression.

The more this happens, the more he feels a sense of conquest.

"Drink up! If you drink these three bowls of wine, I promise I won't touch your old man and your little one again."

"How about that? Pretty fair, right? It's very reasonable."

Xiaoqing mustered her courage after hearing this.

"Brother Jun, do you keep your word?"

What do three bowls of wine matter if it can save Grandma and my younger brother?

I'd even let her drink herself to death.

"Enough with the nonsense. Everyone in town knows how famous our Brother Jun is, right? He knows whether you drink or not."

"I won't drink it. I'll drag that old man over here right now."

The man next to him kicked over the stool behind him.

The language was threatening.

Xiaoqing knew in her heart that Jun Ge's words were not sincere at all, and that the other party was just fooling her.

But what can she do now?

You can imagine what the consequences will be after drinking alcohol.

But if I don't drink it, my grandma and brother will face fierce retaliation.

Xiaoqing bit her tongue; the pain completely calmed her down.

He picked up the bowl with one hand and gulped down the whole bowl of clear liquid in one go, the spicy liquid churning in his throat.

It brought tears to her eyes.

Their lives are so insignificant.

In this town, no one cares about the lives of ordinary people like them.

Here, you either die in battles between government forces and guerrillas, or you die at the hands of these bastards.

Living is hard, but dying is even harder.

She could die and be done with it, but what about her grandmother and brother?

Xiaoqing gritted her teeth and swallowed the wine, feeling as if her entire internal organs were on fire.

The strong liquor gave her a lightheaded feeling.

The moment I finished drinking, it was as if I gained a bit more courage and boldness.

Even the fear he had felt towards everyone present earlier had lessened somewhat.

"good!

"Not bad, not bad, that's quite an impressive alcohol tolerance."

"I never expected you to have struck gold, Jun-ge."

"This girl can really drink; she has a huge capacity for alcohol."

"Let's bet on how many bowls this girl can drink before she's passed out."

"Come on, I bet she'll pass out after three bowls of wine."

"Get out of here, this liquor is 60 degrees."

"Didn't you see that her eyes are already glazed over and her face is flushed? She'll collapse if she drinks another bowl."

"I'll bet two bowls on her."

"Okay, okay, come on, let's place our bets."

Jun laughed and slammed a wad of cash onto the table.

He was so drunk he could drink three bowls of wine.

He grabbed the girl's hair and pulled her close, whispering a sinister laugh in her ear.

"Remember, you can only fall down after three bowls. If you dare to fall down before then, I'll make sure your old man and your little one fall down together."

A group of men gathered around, banging on the table and tapping their bowls with their chopsticks.

"Drink, drink, drink."

"Have a drink, have a drink."

"Drink up, I'm telling you you'll be drunk after two bowls."

Whistles and various teasing sounds filled the venue.

Xiaoqing stared at these excited faces, but felt a deep sadness in her heart.

They were nothing more than a source of amusement for these people.

Why is God so unfair?

Why should we treat them as such lowly and humble people when they are all human beings?

Even surviving requires permission from others.

Even when they collapse has to be decided by others.

"drink!"

Jun slammed his hand on the table; he didn't believe the woman in front of him would dare to fall.

We may not be good at gambling on stones, but we can definitely gamble on human nature.

These people always have some weaknesses.

Xiaoqing picked up the bowl with trembling hands; she was already swaying a little.

But she gritted her teeth and told herself that she absolutely could not give up.

You have to finish all three bowls no matter what.

The group slammed their fists on the table, making a loud banging sound.

"Drink it quickly!"

"Drink up!"

"Drink it!"

Xiaoqing was holding a bowl, but before she could even bring it to her mouth, Jun Ge next to her became impatient, grabbed her hair, and used his hand to hold the bowl and pour it into her mouth.

"I can't stand dawdling like that!"

"Women are just trouble; it's just a bowl of wine."

"Drink it down right now."

Because of the excessive force, the entire bowl of wine was poured directly into Xiaoqing's mouth, and she choked on it as it went down her nose and trachea.

Xiaoqing felt a suffocating pain.

She struggled fiercely in Jun Ge's hands.

I can't breathe.

She felt overwhelmed by the omnipresent strong liquor.

Just as she felt she was about to suffocate, she was suddenly pulled aside.

Someone slapped her hard on the back with a pair of large hands, and the alcohol in her mouth, nose, and chest instantly sprayed out.

I felt my snot and tears welling up.
