Chapter 162 Little Eight

At the end of the day, a gentle breeze caressed my face.

At this point, Yun Zhizhi had successfully sold half of the boxed meals she was selling.

The diners who came to patronize the stall gradually left, and the once bustling area became deserted.

The construction workers, having had a hearty meal, returned to their posts and continued their hard work.

In an instant, the surroundings fell silent, with only the rustling of leaves in the breeze.

As Yun Zhizhi was racking her brains trying to figure out how to sell all the remaining boxed meals for the hundred people, she suddenly noticed that many horse-drawn carriages and oxcarts were slowly approaching from a distance.

He Yang was overjoyed and shouted with a big smile, "Boss, look! The remaining dishes have finally been claimed! I told you, with your superb cooking skills, how could they not sell!"

These new diners were all referred by the previous group of diners.

After enjoying their delicious boxed meals, they returned home satisfied and couldn't wait to recommend them to their family and friends.

They raved about the dishes, describing them as heavenly delicacies.

Such a vivid and elaborate description naturally aroused great interest among friends and family.

So everyone flocked here, wanting to personally taste these dishes that were said to be even more delicious than those made by chefs in restaurants.

With the arrival of a new batch of diners, Yun Zhizhi's stall became lively and bustling once again.

Before long, the remaining boxed meals were sold out.

After packing up her stall and returning to the Yun residence, Yun Zhizhi, who was already exhausted, immediately went back to her room, collapsed onto the soft bed, and instantly drifted into a sweet dream.

Just as she was taking a nap, a shocking piece of news swept through the entire capital city like a whirlwind.

The lively scene of Yun Zhizhi and her group selling boxed lunches at the Haibei District pier has once again become the focus of heated discussion.

On the streets and in the alleys, and during leisure time, everyone was talking about this topic with great interest.

Someone couldn't help but exclaim, "Oh my, who would have thought that Yun Zhizhi would actually set up a stall at that secluded Haibei District pier!"

"When I saw that flyer yesterday, I was full of doubts and thought it must be fake. In the end, I missed it."

Another person chimed in, "That's right! I've already decided that I must go to the docks tomorrow to try the wide variety of boxed meals."

"I heard the food is absolutely amazing, each dish is unique, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. It's so tempting!"

As he spoke, he couldn't help but swallow, as if he could already smell the aroma of the food.

Others complained, "Why is Yun Zhizhi so stubborn! She'd rather set up her stall in such a remote place than on a bustling, busy street. Every time I want to patronize her business, I'm a step behind everyone else. Sigh..."

After saying that, he shook his head helplessly.

One of the older women looked on with envy and said, "I heard that the construction workers at the dock can get a 50% discount on their boxed lunches! Oh my, that's so tempting!"

Another elderly woman chimed in, "That's right! For just a few dollars, you can enjoy such a delicious and tempting boxed lunch, even more appealing than the dishes at Fuju Restaurant. It's just too tempting!"

"Tomorrow, I'll have to get up really early and rush to the Haibei District pier to queue up. If I'm even a little late, I might not be able to buy any."

……………

It was evening.

After a good night's sleep in her room, Yun Zhizhi stretched out and then walked briskly towards the back garden.

She was going to tease the lively myna bird, "Xiao Ba".

This little eight is a treasure that Master Xuanzhen specially bought back.

Although this guy has only been with us for less than a month, it already says, "Master Xuanzhen, you're so handsome!"

Master Xuanzhen must have put in a lot of effort when training it.

Yun Zhizhi held a plump worm in her hand and deliberately waved it in front of Xiao Ba, a playful smile on her face, patiently instructing, "Xiao Ba, Xiao Ba, quickly say: Zhizhi is so beautiful!"

"If you don't tell me, hehe, I'll take this fragrant worm to the He family next door and feed it to your fellow black worm!"

Just then, a soft laugh suddenly came from behind Yun Zhizhi.

She paused for a moment, then quickly turned around.

Zhao Yunjin had been standing there quietly, gazing at him tenderly with her affectionate eyes, as if the whole world had shrunk to just the two of them.

"Why are you here!"

After Yun Zhizhi exclaimed in surprise, the clips and insects she was holding instantly fell to the ground with a crisp sound.

But she seemed not to hear, and without hesitation, she took a step and walked quickly toward Zhao Yunjin like a light butterfly.

Zhao Yunjin smiled, his gaze tender and affectionate as he watched the beautiful woman running towards him.

When Yun Zhizhi came closer, he didn't say a word and stretched out his arms to hug her tightly.

His voice was so hoarse it was almost unfair: "I missed you."

Despite being embraced so warmly by Zhao Yunjin, Yun Zhizhi showed no shyness or embarrassment, but instead embraced his strong waist in a generous manner.

She tilted her head back, her beautiful eyes curving into crescent shapes, and gave Zhao Yunjin a faint yet incredibly charming smile, asking softly, "Did you like the surprise I gave you today?"

Upon hearing this, Zhao Yunjin loosened his embrace slightly and looked down at the face that captivated him: "Hmm. The dishes you make are simply divine."
