Chapter 205 Bald Ghost

Waiting around here is not a solution; it seems we need to think of a way to attract business.

Yun Zhizhi pondered for a moment, then instructed Zhao Wu, "Immediately send some guards to the bustling streets to spread the word that we're setting up a stall here."

Zhao Wu nodded: "Yes, Master."

Cai Yong, accompanied by his servant, hurriedly arrived at Yunhe Street.

Throughout the journey, he frowned and felt heavy-hearted.

My mother is now very old and frail, her condition is deteriorating day by day, and she is on the verge of death. I'm afraid she won't last many more days.

To ensure she could pass away peacefully and with dignity, Cai Yong decided to make arrangements for her funeral in advance, the most important of which was to select a fine coffin.

It just so happened that his old friend Chen Dazhi was an expert in the coffin business, so Cai Yong went straight to Chen's Coffin Shop without hesitation.

When the master and servant finally arrived at Chen's plank shop, they were instantly stunned by the sight before them.

Instead of the usual quiet and deserted entrance to the coffin shop, a stall had been set up, and what it was actually selling was food!

Cai Yong rubbed his eyes in disbelief, muttering to himself, "This... am I seeing things?"

The servant standing nearby was also astonished, stammering, "Master... you're not mistaken! There really is someone selling food here!"

Seeing this unbelievable scene, Cai Yong couldn't help but shake his head and sneer, "Selling food in such an unlucky place, this owner must have something wrong with his head."

Although the two weren't speaking loudly, several people nearby could still hear them clearly.

Upon hearing this, Yun Zhizhi, the "big boss," and He Yang, the "second boss," both looked up almost simultaneously, their eyes meeting as if they were telepathically connected.

He Yang pursed his lips and muttered in a low voice, "Boss, these two are so rude. They actually started cricketing right in front of us."

Yun Zhizhi remained calm and gently patted He Yang's shoulder: "Stay calm."

Then, she narrowed her eyes slightly, a barely perceptible smile appearing on her lips, and leaned close to He Yang's ear, whispering, "Would you like them to come and patronize our business too?"

Upon hearing this, He Yang's eyes lit up, and he nodded his head like a chicken pecking at rice, hurriedly replying, "Of course I want to!"

Yun Zhizhi's lips curled up slightly, revealing a confident smile, and then she said with an air of self-assurance, "Then just wait and see!"

After saying that, Yun Zhizhi suddenly stood up and walked quickly towards the master and servant pair.

As she approached, she smiled and then asked softly, "Sir, are you here to buy a coffin? If so, how about I show you around and help you choose one?"

Yun Zhizhi's sudden action left Cai Yong somewhat at a loss.

He looked the girl up and down with suspicion.

She was just setting up her stall there a moment ago, but why does she look like a shop assistant in this coffin shop now?

Could it be that this stall actually belongs to Chen Dazhi?

Thinking of this, Cai Yong quickly composed himself and cleared his throat: "Miss is right. I have come here today to carefully select a high-quality coffin for my mother, as it will be needed in a few days."

After a moment's thought, Yun Zhizhi asked, "Would it be convenient to ask how old your mother is this year?"

Cai Yong couldn't help but sigh, and replied with a sorrowful expression, "My mother is already eighty-two years old."

Yun Zhizhi quickly offered words of comfort: "Sir, in that case, your mother's passing can be considered a happy one. I hope you will not be too grief-stricken."

After saying this, Yun Zhizhi took on the role of a helper, enthusiastically leading the master and servant to a bright red coffin and introducing it to them:

"Please take a look, gentlemen. This red coffin, whether in terms of the materials used or the comfort it provides, can be described as top-notch."

At this moment, the servant scratched his head and asked in confusion, "How do you know that the comfort level of this coffin is top-notch?"

Then he muttered under his breath, "It's not like you've actually lay down in there and experienced it yourself."

Upon hearing this, Yun Zhizhi responded readily: "Although I haven't lain down there, I have a way to prove it."

Upon hearing this, Cai Yong, filled with suspicion, pressed further, "Then how do you intend to prove it?"

In his view, the woman in front of him would certainly not dare to actually lie down in the coffin to demonstrate it to them.

Yun Zhizhi deftly stretched out her hands and pushed hard, slowly opening the slightly heavy coffin lid.

When she had pushed it halfway, she stopped, pointed to the divine physician Zhou lying inside the coffin, and said with a smile, "You two come forward and take a look, and you will understand."

So Cai Yong and his servant mustered their courage and took a few steps closer, then craned their necks to peer into the coffin.

You wouldn't believe it until you see it!

Inside the coffin lay an old man with a wrinkled face and white hair, lying upright.

What's even more surprising is that the old man's mouth was slightly open, and it seemed that saliva was flowing down the corner of his mouth, forming a shiny trail, as if he was drooling in his sleep.

Upon seeing this, the servant was terrified and screamed, "A ghost!"

Cai Yong was also quite frightened by this sudden scene. He took several steps back as if he had been electrocuted, his face turned pale, and cold sweat poured down his forehead.
