Chapter 3
The next day, Youyang slept until almost noon before waking up.
I still feel uncomfortable looking at the surrounding environment.
It’s another day of thinking about Master.
"Qingyun?"
Qingyun heard the noise outside the door and pushed it open.
"The young lady is finally awake, otherwise she would have missed lunch."
"Lunch? I slept for so long?" You Yang looked at Qing Yun and thought about what happened last night. She asked her tentatively, "Don't you need to greet me?"
Before she set the fire last night, she didn't knock out the maids and servants outside and throw them in so that they could have someone to put out the fire. The fire should not have caused death.
She did this to avenge her arson and to avoid the greeting ceremony. Liu Mei loved to make trouble during the greeting ceremony, otherwise she was afraid that she would not be able to control herself and strangle Liu Mei to death on the spot.
As expected, Qingyun said that the yard was burned down, and the people had escaped from the house by chance and were still repairing it, so she didn't need to go and pay her respects.
She should be able to stay quiet for a few days to allow her to adapt to this place.
This small courtyard was not big, and only she, Qingyun and Song Yunlan lived in it.
No matter how small a nest is, it is still a nest. A shabby one would not only be uncomfortable to look at, but also uncomfortable to live in. She took two people to decorate the small yard and planted some flowers in the field.
Looking at the yard's brand new look, You Yang took a deep breath of fresh air and said happily, "This is my new home. I have to give it a new name."
Her two beautiful eyebrows knitted together, and she pinched her chin, lowered her head, and racked her brains to think of a good name, but she couldn't think of any.
Qingyun had served Youyang since she was little. She knew her young lady was struggling with the name and couldn't make a decision, so she said, "Since you're so conflicted, why don't you just take back the name of the previous courtyard and continue using it."
Da Niu blinked his bright eyes and nodded vigorously to You Yang to show his agreement.
"What was your name before?" When You Yang saw Song Yunlan's face, she remembered what he did in the storybook. The corners of her mouth twitched and she stopped looking at him.
Qingyun: "Falling Water Courtyard."
"Okay, that's it." You Yang agreed directly.
It was gradually getting dark, and dinner was the same as lunch. The people in the mansion were all Liu Mei's people, and they didn't dare to treat her, the legitimate daughter, harshly. They wouldn't starve her, but they wouldn't give her good things either.
As an unfavored daughter of the first wife, she had no choice but to eat simple meals.
Youyang is not picky, as long as she can eat anything, these dishes are much better than the cooking skills of her master when he first learned to cook for her.
It was too lonely to eat tasteless food alone. It seemed like she had never eaten alone before. In the past, even when her master was fasting, he would cook for her and eat with her.
The more she thought about it, the sadder she felt. She simply called Song Yunlan and Qingyun over to eat together at the same table.
Song Yunlan's innocent puppy dog eyes at the dinner table were too scorching for You Yang to ignore.
She knew she was beautiful, but there was no need to stare at her like that, right?
After putting down her bowl and chopsticks, she looked at Song Yunlan and then at the food on the table, feeling a little discouraged.
But I wonder if Song Yunlan would remember that I fed him such a meal if he regained his memory.
Song Yunlan tilted his head and looked at Youyang, his eyes full of confusion.
Wondering why Youyang was looking at him like that.
You Yang made up an excuse, "Nothing, just a little bored."
It's really boring. When I was in the sect, I was chatting with my senior brothers and sisters right now. How could I be here alone and stare blankly?
Song Yunlan understood and nodded seriously.
After dinner, Qingyun collected the plates and Youyang felt a little uncomfortable in her stomach.
So I thought about going outside for a walk and getting some fresh air.
A full moon hangs high in the night sky, and there is a gentle breeze. The moonlight shines brightly on the ground, so you don't need to carry a heavy lantern when taking a walk.
The person who was watching Song Yunlan these two days seemed to have left, but Youyang could still hear some noise occasionally. It must be someone else who was watching him.
She thought that since no one was watching her, she would not try to control them. She could fight off any danger she encountered anyway.
Youyang was walking alone on the path and unknowingly found herself in the backyard.
Under a tree not far away, she noticed what Song Yunlan was doing.
You Yang was about to turn around and leave, but before she could turn around, she was seen by Song Yunlan.
Now I couldn't leave nor stay, and I stood there in confusion.
It was too dark for Song Yunlan to see the rejection in Youyang's eyes. He trotted over, excitedly held her wrist, and led her under the tree.
He smiled so sincerely at her that You Yang forgot to struggle for a moment and followed him unconsciously.
Only when she got closer did she see that Song Yunlan was actually swinging under the tree.
"Did you tie it?" You Yang asked him in disbelief, touching the tightly tied hemp rope with her slender fingers.
She noticed that the barbs on the hemp rope had been removed and were less prickly to the touch.
Song Yunlan looked serious and nodded repeatedly, then pointed at himself and Youyang with his fingers.
"You made a swing for me?" You Yang saw what he meant and felt a little moved.
Song Yunlan nodded even harder. He happily pressed her shoulders and pushed her to the swing, letting her sit on it. He then walked behind Youyang and carefully pushed the swing for her.
As the swing swayed, You Yang whispered, "Thank you."
"I love so much."
The voice was very soft, so soft that it seemed to be covered by a gust of wind, but Song Yunlan still heard it. He smiled foolishly with a red face and touched the tip of his nose.
"Have you remembered your memory?" You Yang suddenly turned around and asked him while holding the swing.
"Can you speak now?"
"Is the medicine the doctor prescribed for you last time effective?"
Song Yunlan seemed to hesitate for a moment and shook his head.
"Then do you remember the places you've been to? When I have time, I'll definitely take you there so you can better recall your memories and return to your family."
At this moment, You Yang had already forgotten that she had seen him in the storybook and was truly concerned about him.
"You've been missing for so long, your family must be worried sick."
"Do you miss your family?"
Seeing Song Yunlan slowly shaking his head, she turned her head to look at the full moon, not wanting him to see the sadness on her face, and sighed so softly that it was almost inaudible.
"But I really want to."
She has been here for two days. She wonders if her master is looking for her or if he is worried if she is missing.
She really wants to go home.

"What did the imperial physician who was sent over report?" Song Yan heard that he had just returned from court and was washing his hands to prepare for breakfast.
Cang Lin said, "The imperial physician said that two doses of medicine will cure it. I guess the Fifth Prince has recovered his memory and can speak now."
Cang Xu asked loudly, "Then why hasn't he returned to the palace yet? The three-month deadline the emperor mentioned last time is almost here. If the Fifth Prince isn't brought back, the emperor will have reason to reprimand the master."
"In the eyes of the Emperor, am I not doing my job properly? It's normal that I can't find talented people."
"I'm getting scolded all the time."
Song Yan didn't care about this. He asked again, "Did anything happen in Youfu yesterday?"
Cang Lin told everything he heard truthfully, and also recounted word for word the conversation between Song Yunlan and You Yang while they were swinging on the swing last night.
"This Miss You is really kindhearted. She saved the Fifth Prince and even thought of sending him home." Cang Xu was a little confused. "But Miss You has already returned home, so why is she still homesick?"
Cang Lin couldn't bear to listen any longer. "Besides brute force, you have at least some brains, right?"
"Young Miss You has only been back for a few days and she's already been bullied by everyone in the mansion. She must be thinking about her former home, right?"
Cang Xu touched the back of his head and suddenly realized, "That's right, that's right, why didn't I think of that? You are really smart."
Cang Lin: “…”
Yuande: “…”
Song Yan felt a headache when he heard this: "......"
"Alright, Canglin, go investigate what happened to this Miss You at her farm in the countryside, and how she acquired her Qinggong skills."
Cang Lin bowed and said, "I obey your orders."
