Chapter 191 Monitoring Room

Chapter 191 Monitoring Room

"So everyone else has lost their memory?"

Louis asked back, frowning slightly as Lilith applied the medicine, and spoke patiently,

Lilith cleaned the wound that was covered in dust and answered without even looking up.

"It seems so. They didn't react to my name or my face. It looks like we made the wrong decision this time."

The wound finally stopped bleeding, she breathed a sigh of relief, and turned to ask with her eyes what had happened.

The blond young man moved his arms. His lips turned pale, but when he leaned against the headboard, he still looked as imposing as ever.

"Weren't we holding hands originally? But when I opened my eyes, I was in mid-air, and before I could adjust my center of gravity, I fell onto the roof of the fifth floor."

So it was Louis who made the loud noise? But everyone else seemed to have entered the class just fine, only he was excluded.

"There was a problem with my spirit body, and I couldn't summon it temporarily. Then Director Yan appeared. She seemed to scream, and a group of guys in uniform surrounded me. Fortunately, I ran away quickly."

Louis spoke calmly, but the injuries on his body were obviously not convincing.

"So the injuries on your body were caused by them?"

"I guess so. I heard your voice on the loudspeaker. You found me."

He raised his head with a smile in his eyes, but Lilith was thinking about something else.

She stretched out her hand, pressed his wound under Louis's somewhat puzzled gaze, and then slowly applied force.

"Um...what are you doing?"

He said this unhappily, grabbing the girl's hand and trying to move it away, but the familiar yet unfamiliar face stared at him blankly, and took his hand and placed it on her chest.

"When you're hurt, it hurts me."

It was confirmed that when Louis’s pain reached a certain level, she could also feel it. Why was that?

It has clearly never appeared before.

At this moment, Lilith saw his pupils dilate rapidly, and then he slapped her hand away, his eyelashes drooping slightly.

"I say, you already have enough sentinels around you. Stop wasting your time on me, okay? I'm not one of those love-brained guys."

"I'm talking about the physical meaning... Never mind, it's not that painful. How long will it take for your injury to heal? Calculate the time. Shen Jiaxu is coming back. You can't let him see you, right?"

Lilith was speechless. All her attention was attracted by the locked door, so she naturally did not notice Louis's trembling shoulders and relieved breathing.

His blond hair was messily stuck to his forehead, and the blood on his body had dried, but he still looked a little creepy.

"I'll find a place to hide."

"With this look of just coming out of a crime scene? Get down here, I want to push the bed over."

Fortunately, the bed was not heavy for Lilith now. After she switched the positions of the two beds, she stuffed Louis into the quilt and pulled the curtain.

Just as I adjusted it, the door lock clicked and Shen Jiaxu walked in with a bunch of keys.

"Are you feeling better?"

Lilith stood up without waiting for him to get closer, snatched the key from his hand, walked quickly to the door, stopped and turned her head.

"Let's go, Master Guild Master. Since we've already made one mistake, a few more shouldn't be a big deal, right?"

Shen Jiaxu glanced at the white curtain and calmly withdrew his hand under the girl's slightly nervous gaze.

"If it's your invitation."

"Why didn't you stop me just now? Logically speaking, I'm obviously stronger. Even if I have to carry her to the infirmary, I'm the best choice, right?"

Qi Hanxing took the basketball that his classmate had just borrowed, twirled it between his fingertips, and said with some dissatisfaction that even though his friend had been waiting for him for a long time, he still ignored him.

Si Jue turned around expressionlessly and tried to leave, but was stopped.

"Hey, why are you running? She's in the infirmary now. Why don't we skip class and go see how she's doing?"

"Lilith doesn't even know you, why are you bothering her?"

"But I like her. I fell in love with her at first sight. The moment I saw her, my heart told me that I would definitely belong to her."

It's not that she belongs to me, but that I belong to her. Qi Hanxing failed to sense this subtle difference and was eager to pull Si Jue towards the infirmary.

"Then you can go by yourself. I still have classes."

"No, no, I'm too shy to be alone. You can do well in the exam even without attending class. Let's go. Aren't you worried that Shen Jiaxu will do something bad?"

"He's the student council president."

Si Jue frowned and said, but Qi Hanxing's expression was still serious.

"Yeah, he's the student council president, so even if he did something bad, as long as he lies, no one will suspect him."

The two teenagers looked at each other and walked silently towards the infirmary next to the football field. However, before they had gone far, they saw a man and a woman walking along the edge.

Lilith hid from the surveillance camera, and her movements were a little funny. Shen Jiaxu seemed to find it funny and kept looking at her, but Lilith didn't care. It was okay if she was a little weird. Shen Jiaxu had seen her look even weirder before, even wearing a helmet and mask.

"Don't worry, aren't we going to the monitoring room? Then I can delete all the footage of you."

"...Why didn't you say so earlier?"

Lilith paused, straightened her back as if nothing had happened, and no longer looked so sneaky.

"Sorry, I thought you liked this, this kind of play."

Ha, what a bad taste the president has, Lilith thought. The fourth class was already halfway through, and except for the students in the physical education class, the rest were in the classroom. Director Yan just happened to pass by the corridor on the third floor and headed towards the fourth floor.

"Now, let's go!"

Lilith hurried upstairs, and Shen Jiaxu followed behind calmly. After both of them entered the monitoring room, two more sneaky figures appeared at the corner of the stairs.

"What are the two of them doing in the monitoring room?"

"Heh, the only place in the entire school without surveillance is the monitoring room. Shen Jiaxu, how dare you seduce an ignorant girl!"

Qi Hanxing was rubbing his hands together, looking like he was about to start fighting, but Si Jue stopped him.

"Let's follow quietly and see what happened. It would be bad if Shen Jiaxu used his identity to threaten Lilith."

Lilith couldn't hear any of these conversations. She was completely focused on the monitor and couldn't take her eyes off it.

The images on the screen were not the scenes in each classroom as she thought, but surveillance images of the base, the contaminated area, and the Imperial Military Academy.
