In the car, Cheng Chiyan looked at Lan Xi, remembered what the woman said, and remembered the man behind the woman.
"What are you looking at? Just say it if you have something to say!" Feeling Cheng Chiyan's gaze, Lan Xi opened her eyes and looked at him. Although she was usually lazy, her eyes were unusually clear.

The man's obedience satisfied the woman. She lifted his chin, raised the corner of her lips, and stroked his bare shoulder with her other hand: "Is Lan Xi beautiful?"
The man didn't think about it and said directly: "Master, you look good!"
"Hehehe~" The woman laughed happily and stroked her face: "I think so too! But..."

"I understand!" Cheng Chiyan nodded, watched Lan Xi go in and closed the window.
The car started, and he turned his palm over, revealing a business card that the woman had just handed to him.

As soon as Cheng Chiyan entered, he heard the sound of faint breathing. He knew what they were doing without thinking. After he handled the situation helplessly, his face was already red as blood.
At the sink, he washed his hands, wiped them with a tissue, and handed over a business card.

The car was still moving, and Cheng Chiyan crumpled the business card in his hand and threw it aside.
In the early morning, Lan Xi woke up naturally without a headache, which was rare. She picked up her phone and saw that it was 7 o'clock in the morning.
After a quick spin at the gym as usual, she came out for breakfast. "Did anyone from above get sent down? What's the progress on Yuan Shian's side?"
"It has been investigated. If nothing unexpected happens, someone will come to the door!" Zhu Lingling sat next to Lan Xi and reported the matter to her.
Lan Xi nodded without saying anything.
After dinner, Lan Xi and Zhu Lingling dealt with some paperwork in the study and drove back to the compound at half past ten.
Today, the Lan and Li families held a banquet for hundreds of families. After consulting Lan Xi, they set a time for lunch.
"Grandpa! Grandpa!" When Lan Xi entered the house, she saw two old men chatting in the front hall. The rest of them were not there, and they were usually in the kitchen preparing lunch.
This time of year, everyone wants to argue about dishes!
"You're back. Has the company been very busy lately?" Lan Xiangfu waved at her and signaled the housekeeper to serve tea.
Lan Xi sat down at the bottom seat and said with a smile, "Nothing, everything is stable!"
Li Xun knew why Lan Xi didn't want to come back. His two daughters were full of opinions about him: "I haven't seen you for two years. You seem to have become much more mature!"
Lan Xi took a sip of tea and said modestly: “There is no way around it if it’s necessary to sit in this position!”
"It's an outstanding ability for you to take over the company at your age, much better than your peers!" Li Xun and Lan Xiangfu looked at each other, both of them admiring Lan Xi.
"Dad, it's time for dinner!" Li Yulan pulled her sister over to call the two elders to dinner. Just as she was about to ask why Lan Xi hadn't arrived yet, she saw Lan Xi sitting on a chair drinking tea.
Li Yuzhen saw Lan Xi at a glance, and frowned so hard that it could kill a mosquito: "You didn't just come back, did you?"
Lan Xi looked up and put down the cup in her hand: "Yes! I just took a sip of tea!"
"When the elders from your mother's family came to visit, not only did you not pick them up at the airport, but you even came to eat on time and didn't even say hello when you met them. You are so rude!" Li Yuzhen's words came out like a machine gun, expressing her dissatisfaction with Lan Xi.
Lan Xi chuckled and stood up. "Auntie is still as sarcastic as before. I dare not approach you."
