After coming out of the cafe, Lan Xi got in the car. Before leaving, Uncle Dong looked at the time. It was already ten o'clock, a full hour later than the time set by his wife. This was not a good thing.
He glanced at Lan Xi through the rearview mirror. She was leisurely scrolling through her phone. "Miss, the Madam just called me twice. She's not in a good mood."
"Got it. Please, Uncle Dong, please hurry up!" Lan Xi was still nonchalant and even had time to chat with Uncle Dong.
Twenty minutes later, the car stopped downstairs of the Lan Group. The door opened and Lan Xi was still typing with her head down.
"President!" Zhu Lingling came up quickly. She had been waiting downstairs for a long time. The elders of the Li family upstairs were talking in a sarcastic tone.

Li Qian walked in from the door with a kettle in her hand. She came in to add water.

Li Yuzhen recognized it at first sight, but remembering her sister's fiery temper, she didn't say anything: "I don't know! You must have seen it wrong!"

Zhu Lingling first walked to the seat originally reserved for Lan Ting, pulled out the chair, picked up the cup on the table and went out to pour tea.
Lan Xi slowly walked to her seat and sat down. Looking at her aunt who was still standing, she smiled and waved her hand: "No need to welcome me like this. Please sit down!"
Li Yuling sneered, sat down and took a sip of water: "Since you are here, let's get started!"
She wanted to see what Lan Xi was capable of!
"Let's start!" Lan Xi looked at Jiang Xing and signaled her to start introducing the project.
"Wait!" Seeing Jiang Xing sigh and stand up helplessly, Li Yuling raised her hand to interrupt them, leaping over everyone sitting there and pointing at Lan Xi: "You come!"
Lan Xi raised her eyebrows and shook her head: "They did the project, I can't introduce it to you!"
She picked up the document at hand and shook it, indicating that she had just learned about the project.
"As the president, you don't even know the project itself during this cooperation meeting. What's the meaning of your existence as the president?" Li Yuling said unhappily. When had she ever seen such a president?
Lan Xi's eyes widened slightly, looking a little innocent. She looked at Jiang Xing and then at Zhu Lingling who was sitting beside her: "Of course the meaning of my existence is to pay people to work for me!"
"I give them money, they create good projects, bring benefits to the company, and form a virtuous circle, isn't that enough?" Lan Xi said bluntly, her expression becoming confused, as if she didn't know why Li Yuling accused her.
"You..." Li Yuling was about to say something, but Li Yuzhen beside her interrupted her: "Alright, let's get started!"
Since the elder sister had spoken, Li Yuling had nothing to say. She snorted coldly and picked up the teacup to drink tea.
Jiang Xing began to introduce, and everyone lowered their heads to flip through the documents. The Li family's main business is real estate, and in the past two years, they have added linked industries on this basis.
When the Lan family first came to Shanghai, they planned to emulate the Li family's way of starting a business, but Lan Xiangfu forgot one thing at that time.
