Lan Xi sat opposite her without saying a word or looking at her. She just leaned back and rested quietly with her eyes closed.
Liang Qinyin twisted her fingers and bit her lips: "I'm sorry!"
Seeing Lan Xi ignoring her, Liang Qinyin became anxious. She looked up and saw the woman sitting opposite her sleeping. "Don't be silent! I know I was wrong. You can scold me!"
"Why are you being scolded? What does this have to do with you? Go back and have a good rest, don't think too much!"
Lan Xi's calm voice sounded, her eyes still closed. The wound on her back was a little itchy due to sweating, which made her a little irritated.
Liang Qinyin thought she was mocking her and scratched her head anxiously: "I was the one who insisted on going to the alley to eat. If I didn't go..."
"If you don't go, there's something else waiting for you. You can't stay at home!" Lan Xi interrupted her, the impatience in her tone becoming more obvious.
Zhu Lingling in the front row turned to look at Liang Qinyin: "Miss Liang, you should have a good rest!"
The slightly warning tone made Liang Qinyin shut her mouth instantly. She glanced at Lan Xi cautiously, and then she found that her brows were tightly furrowed. She realized belatedly that she was being disliked.
After sending Liang Qinyin home, her two nannies stood at the door, looking anxiously. When they saw her, tears came out: "Miss, are you okay?"
"It's okay, it's just that my clothes are dirty!"
Liang Qinyin comforted the two people guiltily, then turned around to show them that she was the one who ran away secretly this time. The restaurant she was going to was a fly restaurant with a dirty and messy environment. The two people knew that they would never let her go.
The night before, she told the two people that she would sleep in the next day and asked them not to disturb her. Today, she ran out at ten o'clock to rush to the alley where she had an appointment, and then what happened next happened.
Lan Xi got out of the car, walked around a few people and went into the villa. Zhu Lingling followed her with an umbrella.
Liang Qinyin saw Lan Xi walking in front, so she stopped talking to the two of them and followed her carefully.
The two nannies looked at each other, stammering as if they wanted to say something, but in the end they didn't open their mouths.
As soon as the door opened, Lan Xi walked in without changing her shoes. Liang Qinyin wanted to remind her, but then she remembered that this was her house.
"Sister, are you tired after running so hard at noon? It's so sunny... Do you want to eat some fruit? I'll get it for you!" Liang Qinyin followed Lan Xi in small steps and said in a flattering manner.
"You also know that your sister Lan Xi is tired! What were you doing when you got into trouble?" A voice sounded in the living room, with a serious and reprimanding tone.
Liang Qinyin shrank her shoulders, praying in her heart that she had misheard, and looked towards the sofa in the living room with a stiff neck.
Principal Liang sat in the middle of the living room. Seeing his granddaughter's fear of facing the situation, he angrily pointed his finger at her and said, "You! Go back tomorrow! Let your parents teach you a lesson!"
Liang Qinyin wailed and walked to her grandfather, stretched out her hand to shake his arm, and said in a half-coquettish and half-begging tone: "I know I was wrong, Grandpa! I won't do it again! Don't be angry~"
The reason why Liang Jingchuan didn't want to see his granddaughter was because he was afraid that he would be soft-hearted and agree to some of her excessive conditions. Now looking at the soft and sweet granddaughter beside him, he had to say... he was still soft-hearted!
"Xixi, I'm sorry to bother you this time. Are your injuries feeling better?" In a hurry, Liang Jingchuan looked at Lan Xi and thanked her.
Few people are unaware of what happened in the Lan family, as many things in wealthy families cannot be hidden.
Lan Xi walked to the sofa and sat down. She reached out and touched her back. It was hard, and some parts had begun to fall off. "Nothing! It's expected!"
"Sister is injured? When? Let me take a look." Liang Qinyin looked at Lan Xi. She didn't know if she was really anxious or what, but she actually wanted to come up to check Lan Xi's wound.
Zhu Lingling stepped forward to stop her: "Ms. Liang, please take care of your own business! We don't need you to worry about our young lady!"
Liang Qinyin wanted to say something and looked at Lan Xi. The latter's light brown eyes looked at her quietly, making her dare not look directly at him.
"Go back tomorrow and don't make your parents and me worry!" Liang Jingchuan said as he took out his cell phone and started typing something.
"Grandpa, don't~ I won't go back. I don't want to go back. I'll be obedient, really obedient. Please don't let me go back, okay!" Liang Qinyin walked to her grandfather, squatted down coquettishly, and then rested her head on his legs.
Liang Jingchuan was conflicted again. He looked at Lan Xi and then at his granddaughter, unable to utter a word.
There were a lot of things going on at school these past two days, and he was so busy that he really didn't have time to look after her, but Lan Xi...
I didn't have any obligation to do so. It's already very good of me to help you look after your granddaughter for nearly ten days.
Lan Xi didn't say anything. She ignored Principal Liang's gaze and picked up the fruit that the two nannies had placed on the table and ate it.
When Zhu Lingling saw Lan Xi frown as soon as she put the fruit into her mouth, she knew that the fruit was not to her liking, so she took out a piece of paper and handed it to her.
On the other side, Liang Qinyin was still begging the old man to let her stay for a few more days, and she was so thirsty from talking that her mouth was dry. Fortunately, she succeeded in seeing the old man soften his heart.
Liang Jingchuan thought for a moment, picked up his phone and sent a message. The next second, Zhu Lingling received an email on her phone.
Lan Xi raised her head at the same time and said to Liang Jingchuan, "Why don't we let her go to the company with Zhu Lingling for the next two days?"
Liang Qinyin's face was filled with surprise. She looked at her grandfather hurriedly, fearing that he would refuse. "I'll be obedient. Grandpa, please let me stay for two more days!"
Zhu Lingling turned on her phone and placed it in front of Lan Xi. Liang Jingchuan's embarrassed voice rang out: "Is this too much trouble for Lingling?"
