Professor Zheng was about to speak when he saw Professor Zhang walk up to Zhu Lingling and say, "Long time no see, Lingling!"
Zhu Lingling reached out and shook hands with the teacher: "Teacher Zhang, long time no see!"
Professor Zhang nodded, not letting go of Zhu Lingling's hand, and looked at Lan Xi: "If you need me, just ask. Don't be shy."
Lan Xi knew that Professor Zhang was referring to the public opinion on the Internet. She nodded and said, "Okay, don't worry!"
Bai Xingtang frowned as he looked at Lan Xi. He selfishly thought that this was not her, and even thought it was a mask she had put on!
"Xingtang, come here!" Professor Zhang remembered Bai Xingtang, who had just discussed a case with her, and she turned around and called him.
Bai Xingtang walked over and called out respectfully, "Teacher Zhang!"
Professor Zhang introduced Bai Xingtang to Lan Xi: "He's a very good student in his major these past two years. I think you can recruit him to the Lan Group's legal department!"

"It's okay, teacher!" Lan Xi looked at the old man who was defending her and smiled to help.
Professor Zhang glanced at Bai Xingtang and said to Lan Xi, "You two know each other!"
Lan Xi nodded: "I am more familiar with his mother!"
Professor Zhang nodded in understanding.
"I have something else to do today. So, I'll have Lingling contact you two in a couple of days so we can have a good get-together!"
Lan Xi looked at her watch and said goodbye to the two teachers.
Professor Zhang nodded, she knew she was busy!
"You go ahead and do your thing, we have plenty of time!" Professor Zheng looked at Lan Xi, feeling a little distressed.
Lan Xi nodded and took Zhu Lingling to the car. The car drove out of the parking space. The three of them were still standing there, and they rolled down the car window: "Goodbye, teacher!"
Professor Zheng nodded without saying anything. Professor Zhang smiled and waved at her, while Bai Xingtang looked at Lan Xi coldly.
After Lan Xi's car disappeared in the parking lot, Professor Zheng looked at Bai Xingtang and sneered, "You're just a brat, you don't know anything!"
"Zheng Jianguo, I will educate my students, so you don't have to worry about it!" Professor Zhang looked at Professor Zheng coldly, without the harmony just now.
Professor Zheng left a comment saying "I don't know how to appreciate a good person" and walked away!
Professor Zhang then looked at Bai Xingtang: "What's wrong with you? You're not usually like this!"
Bai Xingtang scratched his head, not knowing how to explain.
Professor Zhang did not ask any more questions and said calmly:
"Lan's legal department is well-known nationwide. If you can get in, it will greatly enhance your abilities and experience. You shouldn't let your personal emotions affect your future development!"

Professor Zhang walked towards his car and took out his car keys from his bag:

Bai Xingtang didn't say anything. He didn't understand what the teacher meant yet. His way of judging people was still based on his subjective judgment of good or bad.

Professor Zhang said to Bai Xingtang while driving.
Bai Xingtang nodded. He only found out about the relationship between his teacher and his mother some time ago. It was then that he learned that his mother graduated with a law degree.
This incident still surprises him!
Winter nights always come early. The street lights are receding, and Lan Xi's face flickers. She looks out the window silently. It's not snowing tonight!
"How do you know Professor Zheng and Professor Zhang?" Cheng Chiyan asked curiously. He was afraid that others would see him, so he kept hiding in the car and didn't dare to get out.
Zhu Lingling drove the car and said slowly:
"Miss, you went to college at 16 and majored in finance. I minored in law, so we know each other!"
Cheng Chiyan suddenly understood and nodded.
Ever since Li Yulan came that day, Lan Xi hasn't spoken to Cheng Chiyan again. The two of them have no other communication except sleeping in the same bed at night.
Lan Xi ignored him, Cheng Chiyan understood!
The elevator stopped at Zhu Lingling's floor. Just as they were about to leave, Lan Xi suddenly said, "Let's go out at 11 o'clock!"
Zhu Lingling turned around and agreed: "Okay, I will call you in advance!"
Cheng Chiyan was a little surprised. He had rarely seen Lan Xi stay up late. She took good care of her face and usually didn't touch anything spicy or sweet. Why did she go out so late today?
If he didn't ask, Lan Xi wouldn't answer him!
After returning home, Lan Xi went into the study as usual. Cheng Chiyan had just finished the written test today and was extremely tired. Since Lan Xi was going out tonight, he went to the second bedroom, took a shower and went to sleep.
Half an hour later, Lan Xi came out of the study and rubbed her neck tiredly. She walked into the living room, lit a cigarette, and stood in front of the window looking at the Yaochi Lake not far away.
