After drinking, Lan Xi didn't drive. She strolled down the street. She didn't like shopping or picking things.
If there is anything I like, I will have it delivered directly to my home.
Now when I walk on the road, I find that it is quite fun!
"Thank you for betting on me today!"
I don’t know when, but someone started following Lan Xi.
Lan Xi glanced sideways at him and recognized him from the familiar clothes he was wearing.
He! It’s that Ah Tu!
A Tu had just come out of his part-time job and saw Lan Xi as soon as he looked up.
"How do you know it's me?" Lan Xi looked back ahead.
A man was sitting with his child on his shoulders, and a woman holding an ice cream cone was beside him. The family was laughing, and I could vaguely hear the man saying to the child on his shoulders:
"What if your mother has a stomachache at night after eating ice cream in such a cold weather?"
The little boy on my shoulder giggled and said, "Daddy, just rub Mommy's belly!"
The woman reached out and patted the man: "Look at what you taught your child."
The man smiled and let his wife pat him as the three of them passed by Lan Xi.
"When I left this afternoon, I heard the manager and Hurricane mention your name, so I searched you online!"
Ah Tu followed a little behind Lan Xi and spoke slowly.
Lan Xi nodded and remained silent.
"If you bet on the wrong person, I can refund you the money!"
A Tu thought for a while and said to Lan Xi.
At the traffic light, Lan Xi looked around and then walked to the left of the green light. A Tu looked at the distance in the opposite direction of his home and thought that it would be late to return home soon!
"Turning can close the gap and make up for mistakes, but if you really want to overtake the enemy, your operation on the straight section is more important!"
Lan Xi did not continue what A Tu said, but instead told him about his mistake that morning.
A Tu frowned and said nothing. He was thinking about what Lan Xi meant.
"If the opponent's operation is flawed or there are mistakes, your move is indeed flawless, just like today's hurricane!"
Lan Xi paused and looked at Ah Tu: "But...what if the other party doesn't have it?"
"His car is better than mine! I stalled at the beginning!" Ah Tu argued dryly with Lan Xi.
Without those, he would not have lost!
"What was the reason for your engine stalling?" Lan Xi started walking again.
"I……"
"You're not familiar with your car! You've never driven it before, what else?"
Lan Xi interrupted A Tu and said what he wanted to say.
A Tu was silent, and Lan Xi said exactly what he wanted to say.
"When you do something, you need to understand it thoroughly, plan everything out, and strive for perfection. You need to know everything about the car model, performance, route, and opponents! You can't just rely on blindly charging forward or relying on talent!"
Lan Xi took each step casually but firmly, always with his back straight, head held high, and hands in his pockets.
"Look, is that..." A passerby recognized Lan Xi and whispered to the girls around him.
Lan Xi turned around as if she heard something, and they were so scared that they quickly looked away.
Lan Xi smiled nonchalantly and looked away.
"But I... don't have time to pay attention to these things. I can't even make enough money every day!"
A Tu lowered his head and looked at his sportswear which had changed color after being washed.
He turned to look at Lan Xi, who was clean and decent, with a faint fragrance on her body.
Is this the innate difference between people?
The crowd is bustling, and laughter is always heard at unexpected moments...
Lan Xi had a smile on her face. The occasional walk made her feel unusually happy.
"If you were born into a wealthy family like me, would you still choose racing? Would you still be obsessed with your ranking today?"
Lan Xi's voice was light and airy.
Sometimes A Tu couldn't hear clearly, but he understood the general meaning. He thought seriously about this problem.
It seems! No!
He chose to race after knowing that he could make extra money from racing.
Before, he was just a driver!
"But I heard that Hurricane's family is very rich, and he is still racing!" A Tu was not convinced.
Lan Xi laughed. She seemed very patient today.
"Racing is his choice, and it's the one he likes right now among many options, but it's not his only choice!"
"This means that in the end, he won't achieve much. Do you think having money means you can do a lot of things? Can you spend money happily and extravagantly?"
She looked at Ah Tu and the clothes he was wearing:
"That's because you haven't seen how the older brothers and sisters in the hurricane were struggling to attend classes at home, and you haven't seen how hard they were working to maintain their family business."
"Hurricane's coolness comes from someone bearing all the pressure for him. When one day this pressure reaches his head, he will become like you and start trying his best to find a way out and a solution for his family!"
There was a candied haws stall on the roadside. Lan Xi pointed at the stall after she finished speaking.
"I've earned so much today, please treat me to a candied haws!"
A Tu turned his head and looked over, then looked at Lan Xi. He walked to the stall and bought two strings of candied haws. He returned to Lan Xi, looked at the candied haws in his arms, and consciously gave the more expensive one to Lan Xi.
Lan Xi was not polite either. She saw A Tu's choice and when she took it, the corners of her mouth rose slightly.
Snap!
The sugar on the outside broke open and the strawberry juice flowed in her mouth, sweet and sour and delicious. Lan Xi enjoyed the strawberry very much.
Feeling Lan Xi's joy, A Tu looked down at the candied haws in his hand.
Are you really that happy?
A Tu didn't know that this was something Lan Xi wanted but couldn't get as a child.
