At the police station entrance, Lan Xi got into the car and scratched her hair: "How did you get caught?"
Zhu Lingling looked back at Lan Xi with the slap mark on her face:
"I didn't notice. They were squatting behind the car waiting for me."
Lan Xi sighed and shook her hand, which was pierced by the needle and felt a little numb.
"Release those relatives of Liu Xiyue. She is staring at me all day long. Keep a closer eye on Bai Yun. It would be best if we can get some evidence against her."
"Got it!" Zhu Lingling agreed and sat in the passenger seat looking at her phone.
"This newly transferred Officer Zhang is really good. Have the guards at the compound been replaced as well?"
Lan Xi leaned back lazily with her eyes closed, remembering what Officer Zhang had said.
When he sent himself out, he was still sighing:
"What's the overnight grudge between you two, father and daughter? Those three guys don't look like veterans at first glance. Won't it hurt feelings if they keep going on like this?"
Lan Xi said calmly:
"I've lost all feelings for him. Officer Zhang, please go and ask my father tomorrow to find out what happened. The victim is unconvinced!"
Officer Zhang said nothing. He walked Lan Xi to the door, watched her get into the car, and said to the apprentice following behind him, "Bring Lan Ting'an here tomorrow to take a statement."
"Got it, Master!"
"I didn't instigate this. I just hoped they could get Zhu Lingling to switch sides!"
Lan Ting'an sat in the interrogation room with a stern face and answered Officer Zhang's questions.
Upon hearing this, Officer Zhang said in a businesslike manner:
"Mr. Lan, Lan Xi is your daughter. Why would you say such a thing? Is there any personal grudge?"
"There's no need for you to worry about this, Officer Zhang!" Lan Ting'an said this and then shut up.
"Master, the lawyer is here!" The young apprentice walked in and said with a frustrated look on his face.
Officer Zhang stood up calmly and said, "Send Mr. Lan out! I've finished my questions."
This sentence made everyone stunned, and Lan Tingan even said:
"What are you doing? Bringing me to the police station just to tell you this?"
Officer Zhang stopped turning the doorknob and turned to look at Lan Ting'an with a sharp gaze:
"Mr. Lan, no matter what, those three people are inextricably linked to you. I asked someone to bring you here just to understand the matter, and I have no other intentions!"
Lan Ting'an was choked by these words!
The news that Lan Tingan was taken away by the police spread like wildfire, and people in the company began to gossip about it. People are always very interested in such things.

Qin Xiangnan looked at the awkward master and servant, feeling helpless:
"Why did you run out yesterday when you knew the police were coming?"
Lan Xi raised her eyebrows and hummed twice:
"What do you know? Isn't it cool? Isn't it cool to see him holding a gun and not daring to shoot?"
Qin Xiangnan was completely speechless: "Just because he's handsome?"
Lan Xi nodded, her expression as if it was a matter of course.
Feeling pain in her hand, Lan Xi lowered her head and scolded, "What are you doing?"
"That's what hydrogen peroxide does. It's going to hurt a little! Just bear with it, miss!"
Zhu Lingling didn't look up and her voice was a little muffled.
Lan Xi knew she was starting over again: "It's okay, it's just a thorn, why are you making such a fuss?"
Zhu Lingling didn't say anything and continued bandaging in silence.
Lan Xi ignored her pretentiousness and continued eating.
The company held a meeting today, but Lan Xi was busy and the meeting was kept getting postponed. Li Yulan from the board of directors kept asking Lan Xi about it.
"Without the President's Office, I would be unable to do what I want!" Lan Xi's exact words.
Sitting in the conference room, Lan Xi listened to the project progress reports from various project teams with a lazy expression.
An hour later, Lan Xi handed Zhu Lingling the things she had made and started to scold her:
"Are you guys trying to fool me because I'm young? How dare you give Chairman Li a project like this?"
She took the pen from Zhu Lingling:
"Team 1, your current KPIs are not enough, are they? How much difference is there between this and your initial estimate? How much budget did you get in the beginning? We can't just sit there and do nothing now! How long has it been since your team members went out to do sales?"
"Team Two, this project summary wouldn't be full of loopholes even if you gave it to me, let alone Chairman Li."
"Team Three, you completed the last project so beautifully and earned enough bonuses, but now you're messing around with this one?"
Lan Xi listed all the project issues in one breath, without giving anyone a chance to refute:
"Dear project directors, please don't give me things like this in the future. You are all talented people that the group has worked hard to find, and you get paid a lot of money every year, but look at you. Who would dare to hire you if you were given a project like this?"
"President Lan, Chairman Li has conducted one-on-one research on previous projects!"
One of them retorted to Lan Xi unconvincedly.
Lan Xi chuckled, put down the page-turning pen in her hand, and rested her elbow on the table, supporting her chin.
"Did you share any of your bonus with Chairman Li?"
The man looked dissatisfied, but did not continue speaking.
"I want people who can provide value to the group, not just people who come here to learn. No wonder Li Yulan is so busy all day long, teaching you guys how to complete projects, right?"
