Chapter 91 Plum Garden

Watching Qin Xiangnan walk away, Shi Tingshan covered her mouth, and the smile moved from the corner of her mouth to her eyes. She reached out and patted her brother's shoulder, frowning and saying:

"Brother, you get rejected too!!"

Shi Tinghan stared at Qin Xiangnan's back, pursed his lips, and ignored her words.

Shi Tingshan's smile gradually disappeared, her eyes slowly widened, and her tone was filled with doubt:

"Brother, you're not in love with her, are you?"

"Keep your mouth shut!" Shi Tinghan glanced at his sister, left this sentence, and walked in the opposite direction of Qin Xiangnan.

Shi Tingshan has never been able to see through her brother's thoughts, but this time she knows that things must be what she thinks!

She looked left and right, a little confused, but still followed her brother's footsteps.

When Qin Xiangnan came back after strolling around the yard, the Shi family had already left, and Zhu Lingling was waiting for her in the front hall.

"Has the person left?" Qin Xiangnan secretly peeked into the front hall.

Zhu Lingling reached out and pulled her. She felt that Qin Xiangnan had changed over the past two days, and lately she was... a little cheerful!

"Where's Lan Xi?" Qin Xiangnan stood up straight and asked Zhu Lingling while tidying himself up.

Zhu Lingling pointed in the direction of the Shi family and spoke in an unnatural voice: "Go to the Shi family!"

Qin Xiangnan was still terrified when she mentioned the Shi family. She patted her chest and said to herself:

"You don't know, Shi Tinghan was like crazy just now, talking nonsense!"

"Cough!" Zhu Lingling coughed lightly and blinked at her.

Seeing her strange look, Qin Xiangnan shut her mouth instantly. She slapped herself twice in her heart, gradually feeling sad and talking too much.

"Grandpa!" Zhu Lingling smiled as she stepped forward to take the things from the housekeeper's hand, admonishing him:

"If you need something like this in the future, you should tell me. If I'm not around, tell someone else to do it. Don't do it yourself!"

Qin Xiangnan turned around with a stiff smile on his face.

The butler glanced at Qin Xiangnan. He really couldn't see anything special about this little girl, but... Lan Xi was always good at judging people.

Clapping his hands gently, he smiled and shook his head, pointing to what Zhu Lingling was holding:

"You don't know, some things are better handled by yourself. Others don't know how to handle them."

Qin Xiangnan walked over and followed Zhu Lingling, calling out "Grandpa" softly.

The housekeeper nodded and talked to Qin Xiangnan as they walked:

"Miss Qin, what do you think of the Lan family's house?"

He said, pointing forward and backward, looking around.

Qin Xiangnan was actually a little scared. She didn't know what attitude to adopt when facing elders, especially normal elders.

The housekeeper didn't hear Qin Xiangnan's answer. She looked at her and found that Qin Xiangnan was looking around in confusion, trying to find something she could comment on.

The housekeeper laughed out loud. "That's right! How can young people understand this?"

Qin Xiangnan was so confused by the housekeeper's laughter that he scratched his head. He looked at Zhu Lingling and asked her with his eyes what the old man who suddenly laughed meant.

The housekeeper naturally saw it too. He took the thing from Zhu Lingling and said, "Don't be nervous. I got your answer!"

Zhu Lingling stood at the bottom of the stairs, watching the housekeeper carry something into the tea room. She turned around and saw Qin Xiangnan's still bewildered expression. She reached out and patted her shoulder:

"It's okay, relax. Except for the young lady's parents, the rest of the family is normal."

"Xixi, look, aren't these plum blossoms growing well?" Mr. Shi enthusiastically brought Lan Xi to his carefully designed plum garden, which was actually a pavilion surrounded by plum trees.

I followed Mr. Shi into the pavilion and sat down. Looking around at the surrounding plum trees, I realized they were indeed beautiful.

The snow was still falling sporadically. Lan Xi was wearing a maroon cloak and standing in the pavilion, looking particularly harmonious with the plum blossoms around her.

Shi Tingshan sighed with envy and murmured, "Xixi is so pretty!"

Shi Tinghan stood beside his sister and for some reason remembered what Lan Xi said on her tenth birthday.

Although I don't remember much or everything, my grandfather has mentioned it every now and then over the years and sighed about it every now and then.

It became his obsession. Before high school, he thought that what Lan Xi said was nonsense. She would definitely like him and he would definitely marry her.

Gradually... this emotion seemed to become that of a brother and a sister, and then he began a confusion that lasted for more than ten years, as if the things he had insisted on for many years and the beliefs he had sworn to have became wrong in an instant!

It wasn't until he met Qin Xiangnan that he understood what Lan Xi meant. It was indeed different, very different...

But! How did she know this? How could she know this at the age of ten?

He remembered that Aunt Lan had punished Lan Xi a lot because of this incident.

Standing at the entrance of the plum garden, he looked at Lan Xi from afar, and once again confirmed his grandfather's words that she was somewhat weird.

Lan Xi stood by the pavilion and looked up at the plum blossoms blooming on the plum trees. Although they were not as exaggerated as the old man said, each one was indeed full and full, with a little white on the tip of the flower, which looked very elegant.

"Girl Lan!" Mr. Shi stood beside Lan Xi at some point and spoke softly.

Lan Xi put down her hand reaching for the plum blossom, turned around and saw Mr. Shi's resentful eyes, and couldn't help but smile: "What's wrong with you?"

Mr. Shi didn't know what to say. He looked around and when he saw Shi Tinghan, he waved them away and pulled Lan Xi to sit inside the pavilion.

"Does Tinghan really like that girl?"

Lan Xi raised an eyebrow. She hadn't expected the old man to be so sharp-eyed that he'd actually seen it. She played dumb and asked, "What did you say?"
