"What did you say? Say it again!" The first woman immediately jumped up and pointed at the fourth woman's nose, yelling at her.
“Did I say something wrong? Your husband does nothing but drink and gamble all day long, and he beats you all the time. Do you think we don’t know that?” the fourth woman retorted without backing down.
"You...you..." The first woman was so angry that she couldn't speak, and could only glare fiercely at the fourth woman.
Seeing this, the other women tried to mediate: "Alright, alright, everyone stop arguing. Each of you is just sticking to your own version of events. There's no point in continuing this argument!"
Luo Yunhe had just returned to her front door when she saw Su Shan staggering and weakly walking out.
