Chapter 47 Forcibly tearing down the wall

The dilapidated thatched hut is located in the northwest corner of the village, not far from the wasteland, but not close either.

The problem is that in windy and rainy weather, that place offers no shelter whatsoever. Asking them to move there would be like kicking them out.

As a responsible man, Su Jingxuan could not bear to see his wife suffer, so he would never agree to such an arrangement.

"Father, Mother, what you're doing is going too far. Why don't you move there yourselves? Why do you insist on making us move there? I absolutely disagree!" After saying this, Su Jingxuan immediately strode towards the room, trying to stop the workers from continuing to demolish the house.

"Brother, why are you so persistent?"

"Second brother, don't meddle in other people's business. He's courting death. Letting him stay over there is already giving him face. What more does he want?"

When the workers saw Su Jingxuan enter, they were all at a loss, unsure whether to continue working.

"You should leave. If this wall can't be torn down, where are we going to live?"

"But your mother..."

"I said it can't be demolished. My whole family is supported by the money I earn. Why don't I have a say?"

His gaze was so cold that the workers dared not continue working and prepared to turn around and pack up to leave.

"You can't leave! I invited you here, so why should you listen to him and keep smashing things? I'm going to tear this wall down!" Su Chenshi, enraged, charged forward.

"Don't tear it down!" Su Jingxuan's voice rose, and at this moment, he was so angry that his whole body was trembling.

If he can't stop all of this today, how will he face his wife in the future?

“Mrs. Su Chen, it’s not that we’re unwilling to do it, but if we really tear down this wall, have you thought about where the two of them will live?”

"If you're going to dismantle this, at least divide the tasks properly. You're making us do this without even dividing the tasks properly? Won't we offend Jingxuan in the future?"

"That's right, how can you family members be so inhumane?"

"No matter what, Jingxuan is your eldest son. Even if you show favoritism, it shouldn't come to this."

Seeing the current situation, the workers realized that Su Chenshi had probably made the decision on her own. They couldn't let Su Jingxuan really have nowhere to stay, so they simply packed their things and prepared to leave.

Su Chenshi was furious; they had done this while they were not at home.

Who would have thought that Su Jingxuan would return at this moment to see the workers about to leave? She was furious and, disregarding everything, dodged the large hammer in their hands.

"Alright, alright. Su Jingxuan, you've really grown capable. Since they're unwilling to do it, then I'll do it myself!"

"No!" Su Jingxuan saw Su Chen carrying the big hammer and slamming it directly onto the wall. Without saying a word, he prepared to rush over and stop him.

Madam Su Chen now harbors a grudge against her eldest son. Seeing him rush over, she unceremoniously swung her hammer towards Su Jingxuan.

"Auntie, what are you doing? This could be fatal..."

"Don't do anything stupid..."

When Su Jingxuan saw the hammer coming towards him, he turned around without saying a word.

Taking advantage of this moment, Su Chenshi turned the dagger in her hand and landed it on the wall in front of her.

The dilapidated house, which had been hammered by the workers before, could no longer withstand the pounding. When the hammer fell, cracks appeared all over it.

When Su Chenshi saw the crack, her eyes widened, and without saying a word, she ran outside.

Su Jingxuan had just dodged the hammer in Su Chenshi's hand, so it was very close to the wall.

"Jingxuan, hurry..."

When the workers saw Su Chenshi's hammer fall, their eyes widened as she ran towards them. They didn't even have time to pack their things before rushing out after her.

However, Su Jingxuan was very close to the door, and even if he rushed out at that moment, there were still other people panicking at the door, so he simply didn't have time to rush out.

Just as he took a step forward, a large piece of the wall fell from the sky and hit his trailing leg.

Suddenly, a piercing pain surged through him like a tidal wave, as if a sharp sword had mercilessly stabbed into his body. He instantly lost his balance and involuntarily leaned forward, finally crashing heavily onto the cold, hard ground.

However, fate seemed unwilling to give up. Then, several massive pieces of wall detached from the wall and, with tremendous force, slammed into his lower body repeatedly. Each impact brought new, excruciating pain, making it almost unbearable.

"Ah..." Accompanied by a piercing scream, the change inside the house happened in an instant. Meanwhile, the people outside were still immersed in schadenfreude.

The workers and Su Chenshi rushed out of the room, but before they could catch their breath, they were stunned by a series of horrific screams. The smiles on their faces froze instantly, replaced by endless astonishment and fear.

Even those standing outside the door couldn't help but tremble, as if the scream had transported them into a terrifying world.

Su Jingxuan lay sprawled on the ground, his legs pinned down by several pieces of collapsed wall. He tried his best to break free, but the strength of his single arm proved utterly inadequate. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to move his trapped leg.

At this moment, the intense pain had covered his forehead with large beads of sweat, which slid down his cheeks. His face was as pale as paper, and his eyes were filled with pain and despair.

His appearance had become so wretched that it evoked pity and sympathy.

"this……"

"It's over, it's over..."

The workers who had recovered quickly rushed back into the house. When they saw that Su Jingxuan's lower body was pinned down by the fallen wall, they rushed over to help.

Su Chenshi also rushed to the door in a panic, and when he saw this scene, he was so frightened that his whole body was trembling.

Su Jingxing realized what was happening and entered the room to help.

Only Su Ruyi couldn't help but smile broadly when she arrived at the door and saw this scene again.

Zhang Lingling, however, sat to the side, sipping her tea as if it had nothing to do with her.

The Su family made such a commotion so early in the morning that all the neighbors around were peeking out to check on them.
