When Luo Jianqing arrived at the Demon Realm, it was already the early morning of the fourth day.
In the early morning light, a crimson sun rose from the eastern horizon, emitting a thousand rays of golden light. This was Luo Jianqing's first time traveling to the Thirteen Seas. He headed westward, and by the time he finally reached the Twelfth Sea, having crossed the vast Demonic Realm, the sun was already setting.
As soon as he set foot on the water, waves of terrifying shockwaves rushed towards him, knocking him back three steps. The sea was trembling, the water constantly rising and falling, crashing into white waves and foam.
Along the way, Luo Jianqing had already seen the corpses of numerous demonic beasts and human cultivators. However, looking further ahead, these debris and broken limbs were much fewer, only blood dyed the entire sea red. The sunset light sprinkled on this sea of blood, sparkling and shocking.
Somehow, Luo Jianqing felt a little uneasy.
It was like a small drum beating, neither fast nor slow, neither loud nor soft, just beating calmly, yet with a sense of panic. Luo Jianqing involuntarily reached out and touched a necklace around his neck. His fingertips brushed over the three shards of the bell, and he quickened his pace, moving forward.
At this moment, the Twelfth Sea has already become a Shura battlefield.
Demon Venerable Xing Wei stood on the demon side, watching the battle from afar. Unknown what he was thinking, he didn't intervene. Meanwhile, on the human side, Demon Palace Chief Steward Qi Luo and Venerable Yu Qingzi also watched from afar.
Venerable Yuqingzi was only at the late stage of the Great Perfection of the Tribulation Realm, so she naturally couldn't take action; Qi Luo's strength was also far inferior to Jin Li's, so she couldn't intervene. However, Xing Wei's onlooker behavior was thought-provoking, causing Venerable Yuqingzi to secretly glance at him.
What they were watching was an unprecedented war.
A giant silver-white dragon soared into the sky and rushed down; the blood-red magic whip clanged and shattered the space!
Even as a divine beast, even with a body stronger than any mortal, Jin Li wasn't completely invulnerable. Now, his slender, white dragon body was covered in numerous hideous wounds. Each one was covered in flesh and blood, oozing forth profusely. It was obvious that the wound had been inflicted by a whip laced with a thick layer of demonic energy.
However, compared to this, Mo Qianqiu's condition was even worse.
His left hand drooped limply downwards. A spiritual sense would have revealed that the bones from the elbow downward were shattered, and his meridians were completely severed. Furthermore, his spiritual energy was severely depleted, and wounds covered his body, including several broken ribs.
The red blood soaked the blood-red clothing, making the bright red color even deeper. Under the setting sun, the red clothing seemed to burn into a raging fire, rushing towards the snow-white dragon with a blazing heat. The two collided with a thunderous sound.
Looking at this scene, Xing Wei seemed to be thinking about something. He raised his head and glanced at the human race as if inadvertently.
Qi Luo had already clenched her fingers, but whenever Mo Qianqiu was injured, she just gritted her teeth and glared, but never went up to help.
Bang!
Mo Qianqiu grabbed the white dragon's neck with a whip, pulled it toward him, and stomped on it. The white dragon plunged into the sea, stirring up a tsunami. He roared, raised his head, glared at the enemy, and with a flick of his long tail, the tsunami instantly transformed into ten long dragons, swirling and crashing into Mo Qianqiu.
boom!
Mo Qianqiu flew backwards, but Qi Luo, unable to hold back any longer, flew over to catch him. He kept coughing, large mouthfuls of blood gushing out of his mouth. Mo Qianqiu grabbed Qi Luo's arm and stood up again. He turned around and looked to the side, whispering, "...Is it coming?"
The tone seemed calm, but it concealed anxiety.
Qi Luo was slightly stunned. After a moment, he looked away and said, "Not yet."
Mo Qianqiu pursed his lips in silence, his eyes narrowed slightly before he sighed and shook off Qi Luo's hand. Qi Luo stared at him in astonishment as a thin, red-clad figure stepped forward, whip raised to the sky, pointed at the white dragon dancing in the air, and said, "Jin Li, do you dare to challenge me in a spiritual power contest?"
Qi Luo immediately opened his eyes wide and said in surprise: "Palace Master, you won't wait..."
"I can't wait."
After saying these words lightly, Mo Qianqiu tiptoed and flew into the sky again.
Amidst the boundless azure sky, a dazzling light emanated from the white dragon. When he looked again, he had transformed into a handsome, elegant man. His elegant, fresh blue robe was ripped several times, and a tuft of his black hair had been snapped off. A thin, bloody wound pierced Jin Li's cheek. He raised his finger and wiped it, instantly smoothing the wound.
Jin Li lowered his eyes to gaze at the Red-robed Demon Lord before him. Though gravely wounded, he still held his back straight, gazing at him with pride and arrogance. He didn't understand where this man's confidence came from. Whether in combat or spiritual power, he was more than capable of defeating the man before him, yet why...was this man not afraid at all?
Jin Li opened his lips and said, "You clearly know that you have already lost to me."
Mo Qianqiu curled his red lips and sneered, "Who said that I lost to you?"
Jin Li moved his right hand slightly, and countless seawater surged up from the twelfth sea beneath his feet, forming a water dragon in his palm. He clenched his fingers, and with a loud bang, the water dragon transformed into thousands of water arrows, piercing the cultivator behind Mo Qianqiu.
Qi Luo and Yu Qingzi's faces changed and they quickly took action to resist. The two of them barely blocked the attack.
Jin Li said calmly: "Are you going to admit defeat?"
Mo Qianqiu flicked his long whip and asked, "Don't you understand what I'm saying? I want to compete with you in spiritual power. Do you hear me?"
