Killing the Blood Pill Ancestor would naturally unlock the seal on his natal magic cauldron, so before Mo Qiu finished explaining the method of unlocking the seal, Xuan Lingzi took action directly.
But just as the Blood Pill Ancestor said before his death, could Xuan Lingzi be so confident that he thought he had captured Luo Jianqing? What if he really didn't capture Luo Jianqing, then wouldn't Xuan Lingzi be wrongly accusing him?
Hearing this, Xuan Lingzi stared at the surging river and said calmly, "If it's not him, then what?"
Luo Jianqing was surprised and said, "If it wasn't the Blood Pill Ancestor, then you killed the wrong person..."
"Kill me if you want." Xuan Lingzi said calmly, "If it weren't for the Blood Pill Ancestor, I could have killed the Blood Knife Ancestor and the Blood Sword Ancestor. Even if I had to kill the Demon Dao Palace and Mo Qianqiu, I would have found you."
These words were spoken very calmly, without much sonority in the tone, as if just spoken casually, but they made Luo Jianqing slowly shut up, and all the words he wanted to say were swallowed back into his throat.
He stared at the elegant and handsome white-robed venerable before him, his cold and refined features for a long moment. Luo Jianqing couldn't help but curl the corners of his lips and chuckled softly, "But didn't Master Yuqingzi send people to the Demon Dao Palace to investigate? The five Mahayana-level demon cultivators haven't left the Demon Dao Palace yet. It's impossible that the Demon Dao Palace has kidnapped me."
Xuan Lingzi said calmly, "Then I will kill all the Mahayana demon cultivators in the world and find you."
The rivers roar and the white waves roll.
Across the red earth, a long river, like a silver ribbon, meandered into the distance, disappearing into the distant horizon. The white-robed venerable and the green-robed monk embraced each other tightly, sharing a passionate kiss. The kiss was gentle, not passionate, simply a subtle expression of their love for each other, conveying the complex emotions of a long separation, a near-death separation.
After a kiss, they crossed the river and remained master and disciple.
They could no longer do anything out of the ordinary in front of others, so they headed westward and soon crossed the border of Yunzhou and arrived in Cenzhou.
Cenzhou remained much as it had been when Luo Jianqing had visited it a year and a half ago: verdant hills, lush trees, and a maze of waterways. Countless rivers, like spiderwebs, divided the land into patches of emerald oases.
With Xuan Lingzi leading the way, their speed was obviously very fast. In just three days, they arrived at the gate of Guiyuan Sect.
The scent of sandalwood filled the air, and the low voices of monks chanting filled the air. Luo Jianqing and Xuan Lingzi stood at the foot of the mountain, waiting to be greeted by the monks from the Guiyuan Sect. The young monk, who had gone to report, had barely left for a cup of tea when several figures appeared at the foot of the Guiyuan Sect mountain.
Luo Jianqing was also slightly surprised when he saw so many people.
The first to step forward was Venerable Yuqingzi. She looked at Luo Jianqing carefully, from his hair to his feet, and looked back and forth three times. Finally, her eyes reddened and she nodded, saying, "He's not injured."
Luo Jianqing bowed and said respectfully, "Uncle Master, I am fine."
Yu Qingzi was about to say something, but his expression paused and he took a step aside with some apology.
At this time, Luo Jianqing looked at Wei Qiongyin and the Buddhist again.
Ever since the news of Luo Jianqing's abduction reached Taihua Mountain, all the other peak masters, save for the headmaster, Venerable Hao Xingzi, and Venerable Huo Mingzi, who had been in seclusion for many years, had been dispatched! Not counting Xuan Lingzi, there were three Mahayana masters alone, five Tribulation Crossing masters, thirteen Fusion cultivators, and over twenty Out-of-Body cultivators!
Almost all the people from Taihua Mountain came out, leaving only the forces that could resist foreign enemies, and the rest all came to look for Luo Jianqing.
Even so, Xuan Lingzi couldn't help himself and came in person. Upon his arrival, he indeed found Luo Jianqing, and at the same time, many Taihua Mountain cultivators who were still secretly searching for him in the Demon Realm breathed a sigh of relief. They all rushed to Guiyuan Sect to join the others.
Wei Qiongyin held the sword and said seriously, "Senior Brother."
Luo Jianqing nodded: "Why are you still staying here?"
Wei Qiongyin's strength is not high, and it is impossible for her to go to the Demon Realm to look for Luo Jianqing. Just like the cultivators who went to the Demon Realm to look for Luo Jianqing this time were all at least in the Out-of-Body Stage, those in the Nascent Soul Stage were not allowed to participate.
Hearing this, Wei Qiongyin said, "I'm here, waiting for Senior Brother to return safely."
Looking at Wei Qiongyin's cold and expressionless face, Luo Jianqing felt warm in his heart.
It’s really worth the love for these junior brothers and sisters!
After Wei Qiongyin left, the Buddhist disciple came forward, bowed first, and then suddenly took out a string of sandalwood Buddhist beads from his sleeve and presented it to Luo Jianqing.
A smile spread across his fair face as the Buddhist disciple said, "Amitabha, Fellow Daoist Luo has made great progress in his cultivation. I admire you. However, breakthroughs like surviving in dangerous situations are better if they are rare. These are the Buddhist beads I used until I reached the Golden Core stage. They have been with me for over fifty years, so I can say they have a little bit of my heritage. I present this to Fellow Daoist Luo, and wish you..." Having said this, the Buddhist disciple paused for a moment before continuing, "Then I wish Fellow Daoist Luo a smooth advancement."
Luo Jianqing accepted it directly without refusing, and asked, "What did you originally want to wish me?"
The Buddhist disciple smiled awkwardly: "I originally wanted to wish Fellow Daoist Luo all the best in the future, and hope that he can enter the Out-of-Body Stage as soon as possible."
Luo Jianqing smiled and said, "It's only been a few days since we last met, and you, the Buddha, have already entered the late Nascent Soul stage."
The two smiled at each other.
What happened next had nothing to do with Luo Jianqing.
Half an hour later, Venerable Guanglingzi and several others arrived one after another. After seeing Luo Jianqing, they immediately used their spiritual senses to check his physical condition. After confirming that he was fine, they asked Luo Jianqing what had happened.
Upon hearing the name "Blood Pill Ancestor", Venerable Yuqingzi frowned: "That Blood Pill Old Monster?"
