The young man attacked the barrier frantically for three full days, then collapsed from exhaustion. Upon waking, he resumed his attack. This cycle repeated itself, his injuries growing more severe. Finally, he collapsed to the ground once again. Jin Li sighed and, in a flash, appeared beside the young man from the center of the lake.
Jin Li reached out to hold the boy's hand, but at that moment, the boy suddenly grabbed his hand and bit it hard.
