Chapter 51 Gentle Little Puppy

Such a wonderful thing, yet it doesn't belong to her.

Heavens above! This is unfair!

She was the main villain in the book, and for many years she had been walking on thin ice. In the end, the wealth she gained was less than that of an unfavored demon prince.

Lu Jingliang reached out and took the ring. Looking up, he saw her regretful and heartbroken expression, and couldn't help but smile slightly. "What are you doing, Yue'er?"

"I don't remember what happened before. We're strangers now, so there's no reason for me to keep your things."

Lu Jingliang chuckled softly, his eyes filled with doting tenderness as he said, "Yue'er said, what's mine is yours."

After saying that, Lü Jingliang put the ring back into her hand.

"Besides, I have been suffering from cold poison for many years and I am afraid I don't have much time left. If you keep these things, Yue'er will not forget me in the future."

Jiang Yuetong felt a sudden, inexplicable pang of pain in her heart.

"I will not let you die." Jiang Yuetong's expression was serious and solemn. She then turned around, found a place to sit down, and set up a barrier around herself.

"Don't worry, the King of Hell won't dare to take you yet."

This was a sentence she left behind before she left.

Upon hearing this, Lü Jingliang's pale and handsome face deepened with a smile, and he walked to the edge of the barrier and sat down.

Jiang Yuetong clasped her hands together, preparing to cultivate, when she seemed to sense that he was standing there motionless, and looked at him with a slightly puzzled expression.

What are you doing?

Lu Jingliang looked at her and said, "I'll stay with you."

As soon as these words were spoken, Jiang Yuetong opened her mouth but before she could say anything, laughter suddenly came from not far away.

Their eyes met.

Li Qingrong quickly covered her mouth, gave them a meaningful look, and whispered, "You guys continue, I'll leave now."

After saying that, she quickly ran to hide under a big tree, thinking to herself: I've eaten too much dog food.

The water unicorn inside Li Qingrong's contract space couldn't help but roll its eyes at the sight.

"He laughs, he laughs, he's always grinning with his big teeth showing."

Li Qingrong was somewhat displeased that the water unicorn had inexplicably formed a contract with her, and the doting smile on her face immediately disappeared.

"She's only a little older than you, and she already has a gentle and sweet little puppy by her side. What about you?"

Li Qingrong: "..."

Thank you so much for reminding me.

...

As time passed, the setting sun shone on the western hills.

Jiang Yuetong finally stopped cultivating, her dark eyes scanning the surroundings before finally settling on Lü Jingliang, who was sleeping at the edge of the barrier.

Keeping him around doesn't seem to have any downsides.

Jiang Yuetong slowly stood up and walked towards him, but unexpectedly everything went black before her eyes, and she completely fainted.

After an unknown amount of time, Jiang Yuetong heard the sound of a bell.

She frowned and opened her eyes, and the scene in front of her gradually became clear. Jiang Yuetong struggled to get up.

"Where is this?" she asked, looking around.

The shadow that suddenly appeared before her eyes felt somewhat familiar. Jiang Yuetong couldn't help but lift her foot and walk towards it step by step, her body feeling light as if she were in a dream.

Jiang Yuetong walked up to the dazed shadow, raised her hand to touch it, and the shadow vanished instantly.

Then a scene she knew very well appeared before her eyes.

In the Eastern Region, in the Illusory Sea State, at the Pavilion of Hope!

On the screen, Jiang Yuetong's fair and flawless face was now flushed so red it looked like it was about to explode.

She swallowed hard, picked up the teapot on the table, and took a big gulp.

Unfortunately, the effects of the medicine don't wear off so easily.

After an unknown amount of time, Jiang Yuetong couldn't control herself and overturned the table, completely forgetting the calming mantra she had been reciting.
