Jiang Han was stunned for a moment. Under Bi Xie's piercing gaze, her ears turned red. She completely forgot her question and explained, "What nonsense are you talking about? What perfume? It's the smell of my shampoo."
"What's there to be nervous about?" Bi Xie glared at him. "It smells like lemon fruit, and it's actually quite nice."
The girl's eyes were like the midnight starry sky, dazzling and captivating.
Jiang Han looked away uncomfortably and snorted softly, "If you like, I'll give you a whole box as a thank you gift for helping me get into Peking University."
"Thank you then. I'll just bring you shampoo. There's no need to treat me to a meal. I'll say goodbye to the teacher and head back in a bit."
"So early?" Jiang Han shouted, looking at the girl walking ahead. He quickly took a few steps to catch up, and after a pause, he said, "Qin Xiaoxie, are you really dating my brother? My brother keeps such a close eye on you."
His chestnut-brown short hair was gently blown by the night breeze, revealing the boy's fair forehead and incredulous gaze.
Although he had guessed that Bi Xie and Wei Zhaoye had something going on, and although Bi Xie had clearly told him that she was dating his cousin, for some reason, he just wanted to hear her say it again herself.
It seemed that only in this way could the beautiful thoughts that had inexplicably popped into my mind be shattered.
Bi Xie paused for a moment and sighed, "There's nothing I can do. He's my boyfriend, after all."
The two continued walking towards the teaching building, and even from a distance, Bi Xie could hear the lively sounds coming from the campus.
But Jiang Han, who was beside him, suddenly fell silent.
Bi Xie gave him a strange look. Before she could ask, Jiang Han suddenly smiled, crossed his arms, and lazily rested them behind his head, glancing at her sideways. "My brother and you... are quite a good match. He's tall and doesn't mind that you're short."
"Jiang Han, are you looking for a beating?!" Bi Xie chased after Jiang Han with a dark face and started hitting him.
She hates it when people say she's short.
"Short legs, I'm 1.8 meters tall, can you catch up with me?"
"Concentration is the essence, unlike you guys who are all brawn and no brains!"
"Hehe, catch up with me first, don't just talk the talk but walk the walk." Jiang Han's arrogant laughter echoed all the way.
The two ran several hundred meters in one go.
Bi Xie hated it when people talked about her height, so she took off her sandals and threw them at Jiang Han with a thud. "Jiang Han, I'm your future sister-in-law. Don't you understand the principle of respecting elders?"
"Holy crap, you actually threw it!" Jiang Han reacted quickly and dodged the shoe-shaped projectile.
Seeing that Bi Xie was panting heavily, he finally stopped, picked up his shoes, and walked over. "Alright, I won't tease you anymore. Being short is fine. I like short people. They're cute."
Bi Xie rolled his eyes at him and slowly put on his shoes.
When the two arrived at the graduation party venue, the speeches and oaths had already been completed. Next came the signing and stamping, which Bi Xie and Jiang Han both participated in. The stamps of the whole class formed a heart shape.
At this point in the evening's program, only two items remained.
The homeroom teacher was a middle-aged woman in her thirties. Tonight, she was dressed smartly, with light makeup and her hair braided. She walked to the podium and looked at the students, saying, "Next, please have the first and last groups of students give hugs and smiles to the students behind and in front of them."
After hearing this, Bi Xie was stunned for a moment.
She has attended graduation parties in the real world, but this one wasn't included.
There were over forty students in the class, seventeen of whom were girls, and the rest were boys. It was fine for her to hug the girls, but hugging the boys…
