Listening to the anger of the people around her, Bi Xie tapped her shoulder lightly with her fingers. She hadn't expected that Ning Mingshao would still have those letters. Even though the handwriting on those letters wasn't hers, she had to admire Ning Mingshao's ability to forge them so convincingly.
But this is just right. She will return all the unfounded accusations that he and Chu Chu had leveled against the original owner in her previous life.
“Ah Xie”.
Under a distant light, the young man looked at her with joy, his overflowing affection reflected in his dark, clear eyes.
Bi Xie's lips slowly curved into a smile. The plot was finally coming to an end, and it was time to start dating.
The boy ran through the snow, his black cloak making him look even thinner and taller, but the bright smile on his lips was brighter than the warm spring sun. He threw himself into Bi Xie's arms, hugged her arm, and gently placed a kiss on her lips. "A-Xie, I missed you. Did you miss me?"
Bi Xie smiled deeply, tucking the boy's snow-dampened hair behind his ear, and instead of answering, asked, "Why are you here? Didn't you say you'd come to Ye Xi Kingdom to find me after I finished dealing with things here? Did Lin Jinwei allow you to come?"
He got annoyed when she didn't answer his question, and let out a mournful snort, "A-Xie, you still haven't told me whether you miss me or not?"
Bi Xie gazed at the boy's youthful face. His long hair was wet, and his eyes were also moist as he stared at her. The bright red birthmark between his eyebrows was like the finishing touch, making him so handsome that it was killing her. She stood on tiptoe and kissed his forehead, saying what he wanted to hear, "I miss him, I miss him day and night."
He jumped up excitedly, his clear eyes red and moist. He opened his mouth several times, then pursed his lips, before finally hugging her tightly and asking uncertainly in her ear, his voice trembling, "Really, A-Xie?"
Bi Xie smiled and hugged his neck, deliberately saying, "It's fake."
He suddenly pulled her close, pressing her against the wall behind him, and lowered his head to kiss her lips fiercely: "You're not allowed to, you're not allowed to stop thinking about me!"
After the winter solstice, the wind and snow became even more intense.
The imperial power of Kuiyang Kingdom was transferred after this snowstorm. Chu Chu died of illness in the snowy night after taking too much Wushi Powder, and no one cared. In the previous dynasty, Chu Wei was crowned and all the officials paid homage. After ascending the throne, Chu Wei made an example of the biggest treacherous minister in the court - the Grand Tutor Wei family.
With Xu Xie and his 30,000-strong Xu family army in command, no one in the court dared to speak up for the Wei family. Everyone was trying to protect themselves, and the whole country was terrified.
Fortunately, Chu Wei did not intend to eliminate all the treacherous officials at once. After all, the power in the court had just changed hands and the situation was unstable. If the court were to undergo a major reshuffle at this time, it might not be a good thing.
With everything settled, Bi Xie went to the palace again.
When Chu Wei heard her request, he looked troubled, but when he heard that she had a way to prevent the two countries from going to war for a hundred years, he immediately agreed with joy, "As long as General Xu can keep Kuiyang at peace, I can grant General Xu's request and let the soldiers go back to see their hometowns in batches."
"Then thank you very much, Your Majesty," Bi Xie smiled and continued, "I have come today to resign from my post. With the support of Prime Minister Jiang, I believe Your Majesty will soon stabilize the court and bring peace and prosperity to the people."
"You're leaving? Where is General Xu going?" Chu Wei asked anxiously.
"I will naturally follow my husband and go to Yexi Kingdom. But Your Majesty, rest assured, as long as I am here, Yexi Kingdom and Kuiyang Kingdom will never fight."
Chu Wei paused for a moment, then gave Bi Xie a deep look. "Of course I trust General Xu." She had won the throne for her, thanks to General Xu. "But is General Xu leaving so soon? Shouldn't he go to the Zhenguo General's Mansion to visit the old General Xu?"
"No need," Bi Xie smiled calmly. "The loyalty of the General of the State to Kuiyang is evident to all. After I leave, I hope Your Majesty will take good care of the General of the State's residence. I thank Your Majesty in advance."
"Of course," Chu Wei quickly helped her up. Looking at her heroic face, he suddenly felt that all of this was so unreal and had happened so quickly. His elder sister was dead, the war had stopped, and she, who wanted to escape the power struggles the most, had actually sat on a high position standing on bones.

Several months later, in the Kingdom of Yexi, the grand ceremony for King Jin to take a concubine was held.
The Prince Jin's mansion was brightly decorated with lanterns and colorful streamers, and guests were gathered in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Inside the bridal chamber, the wedding candles burned bright red.
Bi Xie was bored while waiting, so she casually grabbed a handful of peanuts from the bed and started peeling and eating them. She wasn't really hungry, she was just bored. As she peeled, a layer of peanut shells ended up on the floor...
Just as she pushed the dried fruit aside and lay down to take a nap, the door was suddenly pushed open. She hurriedly covered her head with the red veil, then sat upright on the wedding bed, feeling inexplicably nervous. Even she herself found it strange, as it wasn't her first time getting married.
But she was indeed nervous and flustered, pinching her fingers as she peered under the red veil at the newcomer's boots.
"A-Xie, I've finally married you! I'm so happy, so happy!" The red veil was lifted, and Bi-Xie smelled a strong odor of alcohol.
She knew Si Jin's drinking habits, and her heart skipped a beat. She looked up at his handsome face, which was as red as a sunset, and frowned as she asked, "Have you been drinking?"
“I’m happy, Axie. It’s okay to drink a little.” He crumpled the red veil into a ball and threw it on the small table next to him, then asked her with a silly smile, “Axie, shouldn’t you call me, call me husband?”
Bi Xie glanced behind him and saw that there were no people making a ruckus in the bridal chamber; it seemed that he had dismissed them all.
He propped himself up on either side of the bed, his slightly red and beautiful eyes filled with her. His Adam's apple bobbed, and staring at her lips, he blurted out, "A-Xie, you look so beautiful today. Are you wearing rouge on your lips? Can I taste what kind of rouge it is?"
Bi Xie's heart pounded like a rabbit's as he teased her. The young man was dressed in a red wedding robe, with a striking cinnabar mark between his brows. Perhaps it was the smell of alcohol on him, but she felt drunk herself and couldn't help but hook her arms around his neck and tilt her head back to kiss his lips.
It's cool, soft, and so comfortable.
Si Jin slowly opened his eyes, feeling a tingling sensation, like an electric shock, that spread throughout his body from where her wrist was hooked. His handsome face flushed red, and his whole body felt like it was on fire, both uncomfortable and indescribably excited and satisfied. He pressed her down, turning the tables and deepening the kiss.
A moment later, the two looked at each other and drank the nuptial wine. Bi Xie glanced at his ears, which were so red they looked like they were about to bleed, and teased, "Did you taste it? What kind of rouge does it smell like?"
Si Jin let out a stunned "Ah," and her face turned even redder after she realized what was happening.
Seeing his shyness, Bi Xie couldn't help but laugh again. She stripped herself down to her bare clothes, twirled a strand of hair with her fingers on the couch, and looked at him. "Husband, aren't you coming up?"
"Ah Xie," his voice was hoarse, "are you seducing me?"
Bi Xie looked at him and smiled: "I'm seducing my husband. I want to sleep with my husband."
Si Jin's eyes instantly darkened as he stared at her slender waist and her lips moving. His heart pounded with fear. With a flick of his finger, the candlelight in the room was extinguished. In the dim light, he removed his red wedding robes, and his eyes suddenly turned bloodshot. He softly called out, "Bi Xie."
