Isn't that just... killing a chicken?
From the start of the fight, the burly men kept shouting, as if it would make them more imposing. By the end, they were still shouting, but it had turned into screams of agony, their bodies covered in bruises and their faces swollen with several large lumps.
But they didn't cover their wounds. Instead, their faces flushed red as they covered their private parts, their eyes filled with terror. "No, no, no, no, don't dirty your hands, beautiful ladies, please spare us! We haven't even gotten married yet, we can't lose this thing..."
Bi Xie twirled the kitchen knife in his hand as if it were a game, without even glancing in any direction. "Did Wang Manni send you?"
The burly men hesitated for a moment and looked at their leader.
The eldest brother was the worst off; his red underwear was reduced to just half its original length.
"Yes, it was Boss Wang who sent us. He said he wanted to teach you a lesson. None of us brothers dare to kill anyone. Last time we broke into your house, we saw several ghostly figures. We were so scared that we didn't do anything and didn't cause you any real harm. Please let us go. We were just greedy and didn't know how to recognize your greatness!"
"We will never cause you any trouble again. If you go east, we'll go west; if you go north, we'll go south!"
Perhaps stunned by Bi Xie's swift swordsmanship, the leader didn't deny it and cried out in pain, blurting out everything.
Bi Xie rubbed her forehead. Did Wang Manni look down on her or something? All the people she hired were such simpletons. After a pause, she asked, "Who else did Wang Manni hire to deal with me? What are their next plans to do to me?"
“This…”, the burly men looked at each other and shook their heads in unison.
"I don't know, I really don't know. We just got out of the police station," the leader said, looking at him expectantly with a smile, but he pulled at the swelling on his face and hissed. Afraid that Bi Xie wouldn't remember, he grimaced and said, "Just last time, we broke into a private house."
Bi Xie responded with an "oh".
Last time, it was too dark inside, so the neighbors called the police. When the police came and asked her to give a statement, she saw that several people were wearing hoods that only revealed their eyes and mouths, so she couldn't see their faces clearly.
Upon closer inspection, it indeed resembled the same group of people who had been yelling and screaming after entering her room last time.
With a history of being a complete idiot, it's no wonder he's still being an idiot today.
Bi Xie asked a few more questions, but none of them knew the answers. It wasn't that they were deliberately withholding the information from her; they were practically swearing to God that they truly didn't know.
However, it is only polite to reciprocate, and Bi Xie did not intend to let them leave so easily.
The girl put the kitchen knife back in her schoolbag, took a few steps, then suddenly turned around, scanned the group, and said, "Don't run, wait here. If I find out you've run away..."
It's true what they say, fortunes change. Not long ago, several people were chasing after her, telling her not to run away, but now the tables have turned.
The men nodded vigorously, covering their groins, saying, "We won't run, we definitely won't run." After a pause, they cautiously asked, "What do you want to do?"
They were barely clothed. Although the alley was secluded, it would still be very humiliating if someone saw them.
"I'm going to buy something, I'll be right back," the girl replied, and then dashed out of the narrow alley.
Under the blazing sun, several burly men slowly wiped their sweat, looked at the now empty space, exchanged glances, and all had the same thought: "Did we encounter a ghost in broad daylight?"
Is that speed even achievable by a human?
