Chapter 87 You Killed Xu Jing

When Jiang Yao heard Xu Jing's shouting, he had already opened his eyes.

There was only one thought in my mind at that time.

What was Xu Jing's real purpose? Kill me? Then why was she stabbing herself in the shoulder? Was she threatening to commit suicide?

No matter what Xu Jing was going to do, as a doctor, her first reaction when she saw the injured person was to reach out and hold her down.

"Xu Jing, what are you doing?"

Xu Jing's eyes were bloodshot from the pain, and filled with fear and panic: "Save me, save me."

Jiang Yao grabbed her hand and pressed it on her shoulder: "Hold it down, I'll go get the medicine."

She didn't care who Xu Jing was, nor did she ask what her purpose was in coming here, but no one could die in her yard.

Jiang Yao turned around and went into the house to get the medicine.

Just as she turned around, a figure flashed under the Moon Gate.

"Help me. Help me."

"Aren't you here to kill her? Why are you hurt?"

Xu Jing looked at Jiang Shu in fear: "Sister Jiang Shu, save me."

"Tell me first, does Jiang Yao know martial arts?"

Jiang Shu slowly squatted down, holding the dagger at her shoulder, pretending to help her pull it out.

"No, Jiang Yao doesn't know martial arts. It's the hairpin on her head that glows. It's that light that prevents me from hurting Jiang Yao."

"Hairpin?" Jiang Shu narrowed her eyes. She didn't know that Jiang Yao actually had such a wonderful treasure.

"Sister, save me."

"Okay, I'll save you right now."

Jiang Shu held the dagger, and as Xu Jing's hope gradually grew in her eyes, she pushed the dagger down further.

"Jiang. Uh. Uh."

Jiang Shu pressed her mouth tightly and stabbed her heart with the dagger in her hand until she stopped struggling. Then she hurriedly got up and ran out.

Jiang Yao took the medicine and ran out quickly. When he saw Xu Jing lying motionless on the ground, his heart sank.

She held the medicine in one hand and used her fingers to probe Xu Jing's nose with the other.

It's out of air.

"Miss Jiang Yao, are you here? Ah!"

When Jiang Yao heard Matron Liu's call, he looked up in confusion.

Following behind Nanny Liu were Zhao Ce, Lang Qi, Jiang Shu, Jiang Xing, He Wan'er, and some people she didn't know.

Someone walked up and pushed her to the ground. The man threw himself on Xu Jing and cried.

"My Jing'er, what's wrong with you? Don't scare me, Jing'er."

Zhao Ce's pupils shrank and he quickly helped Jiang Yao up from the ground.

"How was it? Did you fall?"

Jiang Yao was completely stunned and shook his head in confusion.

Lang Qi walked over, glanced at Xu Jing lying on the ground, then glanced at Jiang Yao whose hands were covered in blood, his brows furrowed.

"Was Miss Xu Jing killed by Miss Jiang Yao?" he asked.

Zhao Ce frowned: "There is no evidence, Langqi, don't talk nonsense."

Lang Qi didn't say anything. It wasn't that he didn't believe Jiang Yao, but he was surprised why Jiang Yao had Xu Jing's blood on his hands.

The woman lying on top of Xu Jing suddenly stood up, her eyes bloodshot: "It's you, you killed my daughter, I'm going to kill you today to make up for my daughter's life."

Zhao Ce grabbed Jiang Yao's shoulders and kept backing away.

Lang Qi stepped forward to stop the woman: "Fei Yan Palace is not a place for you to make trouble."

"She killed my daughter, and you're still biased towards her? Is there any justice left?"

Lang Qi glanced at the woman unhappily, then turned back to look at Jiang Yao and asked again, "Miss Jiang Yao, did you kill Miss Xu Jing?"

Jiang Yao finally came to his senses, with too many questions in his mind.

She looked at Langqi, whose eyes held only impatience and anger, but no doubt, and her heart inexplicably calmed down.

"I didn't kill Xu Jing. She rushed into my yard with a knife. She wanted to kill me, but ended up hurting herself."

"Listen, listen! Is this even human language? She killed my daughter, and her hands are covered in her blood. Yet, she claims it was my daughter who wanted to kill her."

"That's because..." Jiang Yao looked at the blood on his hands and didn't know how to explain it for a moment.

Xu Jing died in her yard, and she stood beside Xu Jing with blood all over her face. In this era without surveillance, how could she explain herself clearly?

Suddenly I really wish Su Qianji was here. Even though that man was full of hostility and oppression, if he was here, he would definitely not let her suffer in vain.

Zhao Ce looked at her and asked seriously, "Jiang Yao, just tell me. As long as it wasn't you, I will never let anyone wrongly accuse you."

Jiang Yao's eyes were filled with tears and he was choked with sobs, unable to speak. He just kept shaking his head.

Xu Jing's mother sat on the ground and cried loudly: "This is unjust! He killed someone and refused to admit it. The prince is still favoring the murderer. I am a worthless person. I don't have the high position of the Jiang family's Taifu. I can't even get justice for my child."

Zhao Ce rubbed his brows and said, "Xu Liushi, please don't talk nonsense. I will investigate the facts and give your daughter justice."

"Fair? Prince, you have seen it all. Jiang Yao's hands are covered in my daughter's blood. My daughter is even stabbed with a knife.

Ah, how can you be so partial to her? Doesn’t my daughter’s life matter?”

"I didn't say that. I will let the Dali Temple handle this matter."

"The murderer is Jiang Yao. Even if I risk my life today, I want Jiang Yao to pay for my daughter's life."

"That's enough, stop arguing." Lang Qi snorted coldly, "Someone died in Feiyan Palace. This matter will have to wait for Master Su to return and resolve."

"So many eyes saw Jiang Yao kill my daughter Xu Jing, and you still want to wait for Master Su to come back and favor her?"

"Xu Liushi." Zhao Ce's face darkened. "Watch your words. If you dare to disrespect Master Su again, you will lose more heads than the Xu family can afford."

Xu Liu hugged Xu Jing and could not hear anything. She just cried and screamed, "I don't want anything. I just want justice. You all saw Jiang Yao kill my daughter, but you still favor Jiang Yao. Jiang Yao's life is life, but our lives are not lives."

"I didn't kill Xu Jing." Jiang Yao's voice was very calm. She looked at Xu Liushi and spoke every word seriously. "Also, when you came in, you only saw me standing next to Xu Jing, with blood on my hands, but you didn't see me kill Xu Jing. You cried and shouted for my life, and even accused the Crown Prince and Master Su of favoring the murderer. You wanted to kill me without waiting for the Dali Temple to investigate the truth. Aren't you also a murderer with such behavior?"

"You are really good at talking. Your hands are stained with blood. There are no outsiders here, but you still want to quibble. I think you want your grandfather to take care of the Dali Temple, so that the Dali Temple will favor you, right?" Xu Liu shouted relentlessly.

Zhao Ce rubbed his eyebrows, his head was dizzy. Even if he believed Jiang Yao now, this situation was not good for Jiang Yao at all.

Blind favoritism will only lead Jiang Yao into deeper misunderstanding.
