Chapter 123 Father Shen Returns
When Han Xi left back then, it was as if he took away the unique brilliance that belonged to the Shen family. Although everything has remained the same over the years, it always feels like something is missing.

Han Xi saw him staring blankly and waved her hand in front of him.

Shen Jiheng felt disgusted and asked through gritted teeth, "What are you doing here? Don't disturb them."

"It seems my son and I should have a good talk. Would Han Xi like to come with us for a cup of coffee?"

He took a deep breath to stay calm.
"Go back to the company first, I'll come find you after I'm done with my work."
Seeing his serious expression, Han Xi asked worriedly, "Can you handle it? I'm not very busy, I can go with you."
Shen Jiheng was slightly taken aback, then laughed.
Are you showing concern for me?
"I'm just very curious, you're overthinking it."
Shen Jiheng nodded: "Then let's go together."
Shen Qingzhou hissed, clearly not expecting Han Xi to actually go.

Shen Jiheng's brows were furrowed into a deep frown, showing that he was trying his best to suppress his anger.
Seeing that he was about to overturn the table at any moment, Han Xi couldn't help but reach out and touch his arm to calm him down.
Sensing that Han Xi was comforting him, Shen Jiheng's lips curled up slightly, and his anger subsided by half.
