Chapter 255 Issuing a Warning
Han Xi helped Gao Juan walk over and saw Wang Wei's hypocritical expression of wanting to cry but having a smile on his face. She really wanted to tear his face off.
Shen Jiheng clapped his hands and said, "Don't worry, this is just the beginning. I'll have someone take this car to the scrap yard and shred it into pieces later."
Upon hearing this, Wang Wei panicked and said, "Attorney Han, what are you doing? This is the first time in my life I've bought a nice car. You can't treat me like this."
Han Xi was truly glad she had come; otherwise, how could she possibly see what kind of person Wang Wei was?

"Ms. Gao, do you need a lawyer?"
Gao Juan looked bewildered, sobbed twice, and asked aggrievedly, "Didn't you tell him that I wouldn't get a single penny of the bonus? Do you think that by hiring you as my lawyer, I can get my money back?"
Han Xi hadn't expected that Wang Wei's previous consultation was about this matter; it was her carelessness.
"Those words were indeed what I said, and they are true."
"In that case, there's no point in me hiring a lawyer."
Han Xi took out her phone and said, "It was useless before, but now I have evidence. I just recorded the conversation between you. Mr. Wang said that he promised to give you all the money to treat the child."
After saying this, Wang Wei tried to grab the phone in a hurry, but Shen Jiheng kicked him away.
"Don't touch my people!"
Shen Jiheng's sharp gaze made Wang Wei afraid to make any rash moves.
Han Xi looked at everyone and said seriously, "You are all in the footage I filmed. You will all be summoned to court as witnesses, and I believe you will all truthfully recount what you heard."
If it weren't for recording this evidence, Han Xi would have already stepped in to deal with that bastard Wang Wei.
Wang Wei panicked when he heard these words. After all, he had personally witnessed how Han Xi had helped him get his bonus back these past few days, and he absolutely couldn't afford to offend this woman.

Before Gao Juan could finish speaking, Wang Wei slapped himself across the face.

Han Xi could tell from his quick change in attitude that he was simply afraid of the evidence he had.
Gao Juan looked at Han Xi with difficulty and frowned, saying, "Attorney Han, I don't want to divorce him. I can't let my child be without a father."
Wang Wei breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this and happily hugged her.
"My dear wife, you're the best. We'll take the baby to get treatment tomorrow. Don't worry, I'll definitely treat you and our child well from now on."
Han Xi looked at Shen Jiheng; she simply didn't believe that this person could change for the better.

Gao Juan wiped away her tears and smiled, saying with concern, "Don't gamble anymore from now on. Let's start a small business."
Wang Wei held her shoulder and nodded sincerely: "Okay, I'll listen to my wife."
Gao Juan turned to Han Xi and said gratefully, "Attorney Han, thank you for coming all this way to help me. My husband has already promised me, and I believe he can do it."
Han Xi couldn't possibly advise a couple to separate over their own affairs.
She took a business card out of her bag and handed it to her.
"Ms. Gao, I respect your decision, but I also hope you will learn to protect yourself. This is my business card. If there are any changes in your plans in the future, please give me a call."
Gao Juan accepted the gift with gratitude, saying, "Thank you, I will keep it safe."
Han Xi nodded, then looked at Wang Wei and gave him a warning.
“Mr. Wang, I will keep the video from you forever. If I ever find out that you abandoned your wife and children, I will never let you off easily.”
Han Xi used this method to restrain him; he would only be afraid if there were vested interests involved.
Despite his reluctance, Wang Wei had to appear devout at this moment.
"I will keep these words in mind and promise to treat them, mother and child, well. If I break my promise, you can do whatever you want with me."
"That would be best!"
That's all Han Xi could do. As for what happens next, it's up to Gao Juan's own fate. He could only hope that his restraints would be effective.
Shen Jiheng took her hand and said, "Once we've finished what we need to do here, we should head back."
Gao Juan wanted to treat the two to a meal, but Han Xi declined. Although this temporarily resolved the issue, she still felt conflicted.
Wang Wei saw his shattered windshield but dared not make a sound. He just hoped the two statues would leave quickly.
Han Xi didn't want to stay any longer, so after saying a few words, he left with Shen Jiheng.

Han Xi took a deep breath and said, "I'd rather he just put on a show for the rest of his life than be dishonest."
Han Xi's original intention was to persuade Gao Juan to get a divorce and then help her win all the prize money.
But Wang Wei coaxed her a few times and she changed her mind. What can outsiders do?
"Then let's wait and see. If something really happens, you can deal with him later. It's already dark, and it will take a while to get back. I miss the children."
It was rare for Shen Jiheng to bring up the child, and Han Xi's mood improved.
