Chapter 305 No One Can Escape
Following Han Xi's instructions, Shen Jiheng had people wash the ground with water, dragged the people inside out, and then quickly walked to Han Xi's side.
"How are you? Are you hurt?"
Han Xi shook his head: "Don't worry, you're not injured. Did you catch Minister Qiu?"
Shen Jiheng took her hand and went out, but his expression did not relax.

Minister Qiu's eyes widened. "So you were faking it all along."
"If I hadn't pretended, how would I have known that all of this was your arrangement, Uncle Qiu? I never imagined that after being so good to you, you would betray me in the end."
Faced with Han Xi's hateful gaze, Minister Qiu could only lower his head silently, never expecting to end up as a traitor.
Shen Jiheng stepped forward and waved his hand, saying, "We can talk about your business later. Let's get on with my business first."
Han Xi had no idea what he was doing with such a serious expression. She only saw Shen Jiheng stride towards the crowd, finally stopping in front of the tall man, roughly grabbing his collar and throwing him to the ground.
Everyone backed away in fright, and Han Xi then remembered that this was the same person who had bullied her in the laboratory to make her behave.
It seems that Shen Jiheng saw all of this. With his volatile temper, how could he let the woman he loves be bullied?
Shen Jiheng swung his fist and smashed it into the man's face, then stomped hard on the back of his hand, causing the man to cry out in pain.
"You were so smug about bullying a weak woman. I clearly saw you push her twice and grab her hair. Do you know what I was thinking when I saw that?"
As he spoke, he stomped his foot down hard, gritted his teeth, and said, "I wanted to chop off your hand and feed it to the dogs."
Shen Jiheng's icy voice sounded like it came from hell, and no one dared to step forward to speak up for him.
The man begged for mercy after being beaten: "President Shen, please spare me! I was just following orders from my superiors. I didn't mean to hurt Miss Han. Please let me go."
Upon hearing this, everyone present looked flustered. Now the problem had been shifted onto others, and no one could escape it.
Shen Jiheng's sharp gaze swept over them, finally landing on Minister Qiu.
Minister Qiu instinctively leaned back, but Qin Chuan pushed him away.
Shen Jiheng asked, "The superior this person is referring to must be you."
Minister Qiu shook his head repeatedly: "No, I didn't instruct them."
Shen Jiheng laughed and said, "You leaders really have no guts when things go wrong. But whether you admit it or not, the result is the same. I won't let it go."
Seeing his fierce expression, Minister Qiu hurriedly turned to Han Xi for help.
"Han Xi, please save Uncle Qiu! I was forced to do this."
"Then tell me, who's behind this?"
Minister Qiu shook his head vigorously and replied nervously, "We don't know either. We're just following orders. We've never met the person behind it."
Shen Jiheng threw a punch and sneered, "Han Xi, don't waste your breath on this kind of person. I'll make him tell the truth. Leave this to me."
Han Xi nodded. Since they had already caught the person, it was more appropriate for Shen Jiheng to interrogate him than for him to do so himself.
"Okay, let me know when you get the results."
Shen Jiheng revealed a meaningful smile, and his vicious gaze terrified Minister Qiu.

After everyone was taken away, Shen Jiheng personally escorted her back to her office.
"What are your plans for dealing with Peng Ling next?"
“I’ve already had the security captain take her into custody. I want to talk to her before making a decision. After all, she’s been helping me from the inside out all these years, and she’s helped me a lot since I took over the group.”
Shen Jiheng patted her shoulder to comfort her, saying, "Being betrayed by someone you trust is unpleasant, but remember not to be merciful. In the business world, mercy will only cost you your life."

Han Xi smiled slightly, but she was not at ease.
Shen Jiheng dropped her off at the company building and then left, instructing Leng Yu to stay with Han Xi the whole time to ensure her safety.

Han Xi pushed open the security room door and saw Peng Ling sitting in the corner, lost in thought.
She dismissed the guards, leaving Leng Yu alone to keep her company.

Peng Ling looked up, her eyes red and swollen, her face still streaked with tears, her eyes filled with endless sorrow.
“I believe you didn’t mean to harm me, but I don’t understand why you would do something like this when we’ve always worked so well together and you should know I was planning to promote you.”
Peng Ling lowered her head and remained silent, her hands clasped tightly together, clearly flustered.
Han Xi asked again, "Were you forced by Minister Qiu? You need to tell me what's wrong, otherwise how can I help you?"
Peng Ling shook her head and said, "President Han, I'm sorry, you don't need to worry about me."
Han Xi patiently persuaded him: "You're too foolish. You had a bright future ahead of you. Are you going to ruin it all for someone like this? Tell me why, and we'll figure out a solution."
Peng Ling slowly raised her head and said, choking back tears, "President Han, all I want is a home. Minister Qiu said that as long as I listen to him, he will marry me."
Han Xi frowned. "Don't you know he has a wife and children?"
