Chapter 439 Start with the people around them
Now, Bo Siye is using the pretext of peaceful coexistence, yet he's taken Zhuo Qingqian away. Han Xi can't figure out what he's really up to.
Regardless, this is a conflict between them, and Zhuo Qingqian should not be involved, so she must be brought back.
Seeing that Bo Siye did not intend to coerce her, Han Xi sent a message to Shen Jiheng explaining the situation after getting into the car.

Han Xi cut to the chase: "I don't like beating around the bush. You took Qianqian away because you wanted to talk to me. I'm right here now, so just say what you have to say."
Bo Siye laughed and said, "You really do understand me. Don't you think we're a match made in heaven?"
Han Xi sighed, realizing that it was impossible to communicate with him.
Bo Siye continued, "I asked you to come here so that you could persuade Shen Jiheng to let me join the Shen Group headquarters. Although these things will be mine sooner or later, I want to get familiar with them beforehand."
Han Xi asked in confusion, "This is a matter between you two. Why did you ask me to relay it? Besides, your aunt and the others have already accepted you. You can go directly to headquarters."
Bo Siye said helplessly, "You don't know anything. Shen Jiheng told me to start by understanding things from the grassroots level, but I don't want to do that."
“There must be a reason for his arrangement. The Shen family’s businesses are very diverse. Since you want to take over, you must understand them clearly.”
Han Xi believed that Shen Jiheng was not targeting him, but rather trying to help him understand the group better.

Upon arriving at the Bo family compound, Han Xi ran into the courtyard and, sure enough, found Zhuo Qingqian at the location she had seen in the video earlier.
"Qianqian, how are you? Are you alright?"
Zhuo Qingqian nodded and smiled, "I'm fine, I'm sorry to have worried you."
Han Xi turned to look at Bo Siyue, then helped Zhuo Qingqian aside and whispered, "Why didn't you answer the phone? Did he threaten you?"
Zhuo Qingqian shook her head: "My phone was stolen. When I chased after it, I suddenly felt dizzy and almost collapsed. Just then, Bo Siye appeared and brought me back."
Han Xi frowned and asked seriously, "Is that really the case? Then why hasn't he contacted us?"
"He said he wanted to see you, and that he would pick me up and we would leave together once you arrived," Zhuo Qingqian said earnestly, not like she was lying.
But Han Xi always felt that he couldn't possibly be that good; he must have some ulterior motive.
"It's good that you're alright. I'll come pick you up right away."
Since Zhuo Qingqian is alright, she doesn't want to stay here.
Just as the two were about to leave, Bo Siye stepped forward again and said, "Han Xi, I know you don't want to see me, but no matter what, I helped Miss Zhuo. Would you do me the honor of sitting a little longer and having a cup of tea with me?"
Zhuo Qingqian, linking arms with her, chimed in, "Since Xi Xi is already here, why don't you sit for a while? I'm feeling a bit tired anyway, so I'll rest a bit more before I leave."
Bo Siye gave a gentlemanly smile and said politely, "If Miss Zhuo doesn't mind, there are guest rooms inside. After you've rested, I'll arrange for someone to take you back."

Just as Han Xi sat down, her phone rang. Remembering that she had contacted Shen Jiheng before coming, she knew it must be him calling.
"I'm going to take this call."
Bo Siye nodded in acknowledgment, and Han Xi picked up the phone and walked a few steps away before answering it.
"Ji Heng, don't worry, I'm fine here."
Hearing this, Shen Jiheng breathed a sigh of relief: "It's good that you're alright. How is Miss Zhuo?"
"She's fine, just a little tired and resting. We'll come back when she wakes up, but I feel something's strange, though I can't quite put my finger on it."
While Bo Siye forcibly detained them, he also gave them enough freedom, even allowing them to leave immediately.
But something seemed to be holding them back, preventing them from leaving.
Shen Jiheng said, "Qin Chuan has disappeared. The people I arranged cannot find his whereabouts."
