Chapter 48 How Many Secrets Were Hidden From Her
Shen Jiheng placed his hands on either side of her, giving her a meaningful look. This close eye contact made Han Xi feel a little guilty, so she moved back.

Seeing this sleeping face, Shen Jiheng couldn't help but recall the inexplicable sense of peace he always felt whenever he opened his eyes and saw her over the past three years.

Han Xi woke up to find it was already daylight. Last night she was worried that the pain from her wound would keep her awake, but she didn't expect to open her eyes to find it was already the next day. It seems that the hot compress was quite effective in relieving the pain.
