Chapter 56 What she tore wasn't just the belt.

Chapter 56 What she tore wasn't just the belt.

Ji Qingwu's left chest suddenly felt unbearably hot and swollen, perhaps because the temperature of his palm was burning hot.

Or rather, that unrestrained yet tender voice—Awu.

"Is it so or not? Am I right? Why don't you answer?"

Ji Qingwu blushed all over, her face was soft and shy, and her eyes did not blink.

She didn't answer, and Emperor Wusu wasn't annoyed; a smile was hidden in his eyes.

He mercifully said, "I will give you another chance."

Ji Qingwu's voice was so soft it was almost incoherent, and he asked the question with a slow, deliberate pause.

"What opportunity?"

Emperor Wusu finally showed a smile tonight, his lips curling into a carefree and unrestrained grin.

"Awu could follow suit."

What are we imitating?

What I just mentioned was "throwing fruit to fill the carriage," which refers to a girl throwing a bellyband at him.

She closed her eyes, then opened them again; she could never imitate that behavior.

Ji Qingwu twisted her body and turned around, crossing her arms to protect herself, and said to him arrogantly, "If I were here, I certainly wouldn't have done that, and I wouldn't have thrown that thing."

The warm, soft jade in his palm had escaped, but the supple feel remained. Emperor Wu Su teased her, asking with a smile, "Then what will A-Wu do?"

Ah Wu.

It's Ah Wu again.

It caused widespread panic.

Ji Qingwu looked up at Emperor Wusu and saw that his thin lips were slightly upturned and his eyes were burning.

When she becomes shy to a certain extent, she develops a fearless and reckless attitude.

Overwhelmed by emotion and in a moment of impulsiveness, she said crisply, "Since it's an expression of admiration, this humble woman won't take off her own clothes; she'll just pull down Your Majesty's pants directly."

Upon receiving a very unexpected answer, Emperor Wusu let out a low chuckle from deep within his throat.

However, it does seem like something she would do.

Ji Qingwu's heart was beating faster and faster.

It felt like I was back in that scene: a bustling street, a great general admired by many women, sitting high on his horse with a cold expression, and she looking up at him, seizing the opportunity to break through all obstacles.

Then, he ripped off his belt.

As she looked at the person before her, her vision grew increasingly blurry, and his handsome face gradually overlapped with the one she had seen in the military tent that night.

She didn't just pull on the belt...

Ji Qingwu blinked slowly; the aftereffects of the alcohol were starting to kick in.

Emperor Wusu embraced her limp body and smiled meaningfully. That wine was no ordinary wine; it was wine mixed with deer blood.

Let alone a cup, even a single cup would have a very strong effect. If he hadn't sent someone to stop her from drinking, she would probably be bleeding from her nose by now.

Ji Qingwu felt hot and wanted to find a place to lean against, preferably where they could stick together.

With one readily available, she nuzzled against his chest like a small animal.

"What are you doing?" Emperor Wusu asked teasingly, looking at her flushed cheeks. "Is this lecherous fellow catching up to pull down my pants?"

This is clearly a joke.

Ji Qingwu lowered her head to his firm chest, and out of the corner of her eye, her light blue ribbon was still floating in the pool, all alone.

She really wanted to tear him off and throw him into the water.

Emboldened by the alcohol, Ji Qingwu actually reached out and grabbed his narrow red belt.

Emperor Wusu lowered his brows and looked down at her movements.

The crimson ribbon looked alluring in her delicate hands.

She tugged at it, but it didn't budge. How could his belt be tied so securely? Her belt was so easily removed by him.

A drunk person's reason will temporarily be lost. Ji Qingwu raised her chin and said in a coquettish tone, "Your Majesty, untie it yourself."

Emperor Wusu couldn't help but chuckle and placed his hand on the back of her head.

The atmosphere was just right.

"Your Majesty, Your Majesty."

A very faint call came from afar.

The man called out several more times, sounding very anxious.

Emperor Wusu frowned slightly, his face showing displeasure at being disturbed, and glanced over.

Ji Qingwu was also jolted awake by the sound, realizing what she had done. She took a step back, using his tall figure as cover, and quickly turned her back to tuck in the hem of her blouse.

Li Yuzong did not want to disturb the emperor at this time, but an emergency had occurred that required the emperor's attention.

He lowered his head, bowed, and walked quickly closer.

Emperor Wusu: "Speak, what is it?"

"Your Majesty, a major incident has occurred at the banquet. General Yuchi and Lord Ji have started fighting."

Ji Qingwu straightened her clothes and was startled when she heard the news.

She peeked out from behind the emperor and asked, "Lord Ji? Eunuch Li, are you talking about my elder brother?"

Li Yuzong glanced at the emperor's eyes and then nodded.

Ji Qingwu thought of Yuchi Lianping's imposing physique; let alone fighting, he could easily take on ten enemies on the battlefield.

But her elder brother was a civil official, and if the two of them got into a fight, Ji Changlin would be half-dead from a single punch.

Emperor Wusu stood still, neither moving nor speaking.

Ji Qingwu was so anxious to check on her elder brother that she was practically spinning around in circles. She grabbed his wrist and pleaded, "Your Majesty, shall we go and see him?"

The emperor stared at her hand, and for some unknown reason, he shook her hand away again.

There is a pavilion near the lotus pond.

It is named Lotus Pavilion.

Ji Changlin and Yuchi Lianping had their fight right in front of this gate.

When Emperor Wusu and his entourage arrived, the two were still locked in combat, like wild beasts breaking free of their cages.

Ji Qingwu covered her mouth in alarm.

Ji Changlin was nearly hit by the prince consort's fist, and his face was bruised, but he was faster and quickly raised his foot, which grazed past Yuchi Lianping's crotch.

Neither of them would give in.

To Ji Qingwu's surprise, his elder brother was able to hold his own against Yuchi Lianping in a fight.

Ji Changlin, with his sharp eyes, dodged Yuchi Lianping's fist and spotted the emperor standing to the side out of the corner of his eye, so he stopped.

Yuchi Lianping's fist landed solidly on his ribs, causing him to see stars from the pain.

"You fox, you're finally out of strength, so don't blame me for paying you back with interest!"

Ji Changlin was no match for him in strength, but he had a lot of dirty tricks up his sleeve. Yuchi Lianping had never fought such a frustrating fight before, and his anger was hard to quell. He gathered his strength to punch him again.

This punch carried the wind, as powerful as a tiger descending from the mountain.

Suddenly, someone grabbed his right arm and forcefully stopped him.

Yuchi Lianping struggled, but couldn't break free. He turned around to curse, but when he saw who was holding him, he immediately shut up.

The man who had just been furious knelt down and respectfully bowed, saying, "This humble general greets Your Majesty."

Emperor Wusu glanced at the two men and said in a flat tone, "One is a second-rank official in charge of the central government, and the other is a garrison general. You two are very good."

Ji Changlin, still coughing and panting after being hit by that punch, said, "Your Majesty, I was wrong. Please calm your anger."

"I should ask you to calm down."

Emperor Wusu showed no anger, his expression remained calm, but his words sent chills down one's spine.

No one dared to answer; their heads were all bowed.

Ji Qingwu looked at Emperor Wusu. This was a born ruler, exuding an imposing and dignified aura. He was already used to everyone kneeling at his feet.

Suddenly, she realized that this man had actually been quite amiable in front of her.

But why did her elder brother fight with General Yuchi?

Ji Changlin was gentle and easy-going. If Ji Qingwu hadn't witnessed him in action, he would have thought it was just someone making things up.
