Chapter 101

Chapter 101

At night, the seabed is deep and quiet.

The crystal house built by the mermaids emitted light quietly, becoming the only light on the seabed.

Xingnuo was curled up in the shell bed, and when he heard the sound of Leah leaving, he gently opened his eyes.

He took out the two small clumps of seaweed from his ears and poked the little octopus at the bedside with his fingers to wake it up.

The little octopus seemed very sleepy. It was lazy all day long, curled up on top of Xingnuo's head, motionless.

The tentacles pulled at Xingnuo's curly hair, and the little octopus yawned and asked:

"Shall we go now?"

Xingnuo nodded, climbed out of the small bed, and folded the small gauze quilt.

Xingnuo picked up the small pile of sparkling gems on the bedside and placed two on the bedside of each little mermaid.

After dividing the gems, Xingnuo no longer had any worries and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Okay, let's go."

He was going to move on.

The little octopus waved its tentacles, trying to muster up some energy and show Xingnuo the way.

Mermaids also need to rest at night, so the sea is quiet and empty.

Xingnuo arrived at the coral group without any obstacles, shuttled among the colorful and fluorescent corals, and swam to the edge of the mermaid sea area.

Xingnuo turned his head and glanced at the crystal palace not far away.

The little octopus was still chirping:

"My nest is much bigger than this one! And there are treasures everywhere!"

Xingnuo turned his head, hummed, and swam forward, skillfully wagging his tail.

Shortly after Xingnuo left, two mermaids emerged from behind the coral reef.

The clan leader and the great elder looked at the direction where the little mermaid was moving away and sighed softly.

"The little mermaid longs for freedom more."

"He doesn't belong here. Although the tribe can give him the best care, wild mermaids may not need this."

The two mermaids did not chase Xingnuo back, but respected his wishes and watched him leave.

The ocean is dark and dangerous at night.

Xingnuo swam past the coral reefs. There was no light in front of him, only darkness. He couldn't help but rub his eyes gently.

The little octopus nestled on his head moved its tentacles and then left his head.

Xingnuo felt a lightness on his head and couldn't help asking:

"Where are you going, little octopus?"

The little octopus swam very fast and disappeared without answering in a flash.

Just as Xingnuo was turning around in confusion for a few circles, he looked up again and found that the little octopus was followed by a bunch of blue jellyfish and Haiying.

The jellyfish moved its body, its slender tentacles glowing, and swam over with the tiny star-like sea crystals.

The little octopus stood in front of the main group, stretched out his little tentacles and pointed to the road ahead.

"Look, I brought you a searchlight!"

Xingnuo looked at these glowing jellyfish Haiying and opened his eyes wide in surprise.

"How beautiful, little octopus! Are these your good friends? Are they here to help us?"

The threatened Jellyfish and Haiying dared not say a word and stared at the bully little octopus with resentful eyes.

The little octopus swam back and nestled safely on Xingnuo's head.

"Of course not, I have no friends."

Xingnuo reached out and touched the little octopus's head, his expression rarely showing a complicated look.

"Why? Little octopus, you have no peers and no friends. Are you living as a fish in the sea?"

The little octopus wanted to say that he didn't need friends or people like him at all.

He is the only SSS+ level underwater monster in the world!

All the tiny and fragile fish and monsters had to take a detour when they saw him!

The little octopus has lived in this ocean since it was born and does not need any fish to accompany it.

But Xingnuo touched his cool and smooth head with his hand, and the warm touch made the little octopus feel as if he was scalded.

The little octopus stopped swinging its tentacles and looked at the light blue and crystal clear jellyfish and Haiying in front of it, without saying anything for a long time.

Xingnuo rubbed the little octopus's head, narrowed his eyes, and swam forward gently shaking his tail.

"It's okay. I'm a little fish now, too. I can accompany you."

The seabed is so vast, and with a companion by your side, even the most difficult journey will become a wonderful adventure.

The little octopus hummed, and its little tentacles grabbed Xingnuo's hair tightly, as if it was afraid of being thrown off.

Following the shining jellyfish Haiying, Xingnuo swam to the nest of the lazy little octopus who didn't like swimming by himself.

At this time, the sun rises from the sea level.

The little mermaid on the shell bed somersaulted up from the bed, threw away her thin quilt, and swam over to play with Xingnuo.

"Xiao Jin, Xiao Jin! Let's go play in the palace this morning!"

The red mermaid swam happily to Xingnuo's bed. Not knowing Xingnuo's name, he gave Xingnuo a super nice nickname.

Unfortunately, Xingnuo's little bed was empty, even the place where the gems were placed at the head of the bed was empty.

The little red mermaid was stunned for a moment, then put her hands on her hips angrily.

"Who stole Xiao Jin's gem? I'm going to tell the clan leader and the great elder!"

The little blue mermaid next to her, who was more emotionally delicate, swam over, holding the two gems placed on her bedside, with a confused look on her face.

"Xiao Jin's gem is on my bedside."

Another little mermaid swam over and spoke in a soft voice: "Me too! I have two gems!"

The little mermaids were completely confused and swam out to find Leia. They chirped and circled in front of her, asking her where Xingnuo had gone.

Leia received the news from the Great Elder, her expression was sad, and she gently stroked the heads of the little mermaids.

"The little golden fish went where he wanted to go."

***

The little octopus's nest was just as he described, huge.

It was as high as three or four stories. Xingnuo felt his own insignificance just by looking at it from the entrance of the cave.

I shouted softly inside and could still hear the echo.

"Little octopus, your hole is so big!" Xingnuo said in surprise.

The little octopus put away its lazy look, swam down from over Xingnuo's head, waving its thin tentacles with a slightly proud look on its face.

"Of course, I have countless treasures hidden here, and my tentacles are so long, of course I have to build a huge cave!"

Xingnuo looked at the short tentacles of the little octopus, which were not even as long as his arms, and smiled with his eyes narrowed.

"Okay, so are we going in?"

The little octopus hummed, and swam forward with Xingnuo, swinging on the wall twice, lighting up all the round beads in the cave.

"This is the crystal bead I snatched. It's beautiful, isn't it? The mermaids don't have as many as I do!"

Xingnuo swam beside the crystal bead and looked at it for a while, and found that it was exactly the same as the crystal bead among the mermaids.

"Teacher Xiao Song said, good boy...good octopus can't steal other mermaids' things."

Xingnuo modified Teacher Xiao Song's words and spoke righteously.

The little octopus listened in with one ear and out with the other, then swung his tentacles a few times, thinking that his brother's appearance was really funny.

With a stern face, he tried to reason with a bully octopus.

The little octopus Doudou's eyes were full of happiness. He didn't respond and continued to walk inside with Xingnuo.

"No other fish dare to come to my nest. They are afraid of me. Wherever I am, no other fish or monsters will come."

Telling how powerful he is, the little octopus took Xingnuo to the deep end of his cave.

As soon as he entered, Xingnuo was dazzled by the bright golden light in the room.

The little octopus was right, the treasures he collected really filled up a whole cave!

Xingnuo's eyes widened as she stared at these sparkling and bright treasures and exclaimed in amazement.

“So many!”

A little hill of treasure!

Various gemstones, crystals, and rare and exotic plants from the seabed were randomly piled up on the ground of the cave.

The red crystal rolled down from the small hills with a crackling sound and fell at Xingnuo's feet.

The little octopus swam to the top of the treasure hill. The white and transparent octopus nestled at the very top, finally showing some signs of being the overlord of the sea.

“These are all my treasures!”

The little octopus proudly raised its little round head, was smug for a while, then swam down to look for something in the pile of treasures.

Xingnuo rubbed his eyes that were flashed, and swam over to help him find it.

"What are you looking for, little octopus?"

The little octopus swung its tentacles rapidly, picked up some gems and threw them aside, then said:

"It's a small box, locked, with something in it."

Xingnuo said "oh" and helped him dig for things in the pile of treasures.

The little octopus dug for a long time and finally found the small box where he had hidden it under a huge purple pearl.

“Found it!”

The little octopus held the treasure chest in its tentacles, swam over, and handed the treasure chest to Xingnuo.

"Open it and take a look."

Xingnuo looked a little incredulous, tilted his head and asked, "For me?"

The little octopus nodded: "Yes, open it quickly!"

Xingnuo turned around and saw the little octopus's pile of treasures. He thought that these should be the little gems that the little octopus gave to him.

Although Xingnuo didn't need it, he didn't reject the little octopus's kindness.

Taking the key handed to him, Xingnuo opened the treasure chest.

With a bang, the treasure chest opened and was empty.

Before Xingnuo could ask, the little octopus exploded instantly!

"Someone stole my treasure!"

It felt the breath left by humans inside the treasure chest!

"Someone must have coveted my treasure and snatched it away!"

The little octopus's eyes became even colder, and its tentacles slapped the gem next to it, smashing it into pieces in an instant.

Xingnuo hurried to comfort:

"It's okay, little octopus. You still have so many treasures. Don't be angry."

The little octopus was not at all relieved. He stared at the treasure chest with his wide eyes and spoke in a cold voice.

"This is different, this treasure is different from the others!"
