Chapter 15

Chapter 15

Chen Yan was one of the first monsters created by Chen Wen.

It had no name at that time, was pitch black, and had little power. It could hardly survive in the powerful monster copy.

Chen Wen thought it would soon dissipate, leaving no trace of its existence.

But Chen Yan, relying on the little more wisdom than other monsters, messed up the entire copy of monsters, reaped the benefits, and devoured the power of countless monsters.

By the time Chen Wen noticed, Chen Yan had already evolved into a human skin, and with his initial weak abilities, he became the dungeon boss.

Chen Wen didn't care about what happened next. He liked to create all kinds of monster life forms, but he didn't like to restrict and control their lives.

It was not until Xingnuo was born that Chen Yan came to the castle for a formal visit, carrying things for the first time.

Chen Yan's human skin has handsome features. Influenced by his creator father, Chen Wen, these monsters are born with male characteristics.

He was carrying milk powder, complementary food and teething biscuits needed by the human cubs. He was wearing a well-tailored suit, and his lead-gray pupils were vaguely cold.

"I heard that you have a blood descendant? Is it a human?" This was the first sentence Chen Yan said when he saw Chen Wen.

Can humans, such weak creatures, survive in such a world?

At that time, Chen Wen was worried about Xingnuo's walking problem. The one and a half year old cub would fall to the ground after taking a few steps, looking up at his little face and asking to be held.

Chen Wen could never bear to be cruel, so he would pick Xingnuo up every time and comfort the little kid who was pretending to cry and wiping his eyes for a while.

To the point that even now, Xingnuo still can hardly walk.

Hearing what Chen Yan said, Chen Wen didn't have the energy to respond, he frowned and waved his hand.

"If you have nothing else to do, you can leave first. I'm not in the mood to entertain guests lately."

As soon as he finished speaking, Shen Wen had to leave temporarily to deal with the invasion of foreign players.

Chen Yan was unable to leave directly, but went upstairs for Chen Wen and took care of Xing Nuo who was sleeping on his stomach for a while.

When Shen Wen finished his work on the copy and went upstairs, he saw Shen Yan standing by the bed in the bedroom.

Chen Yan lowered his head and looked at the sleeping little baby, not knowing what he was thinking.

Chen Wen walked over, picked up the little cub who was having a nightmare, wiped the wet tears from Xingnuo's eyes, and patted his back gently.

Xingnuo, who was over one year old, woke up and saw his father. He could not speak much. He could only sob uncomfortably with his little shoulders shaking, and his little hands tightly grasped his father's clothes on his chest.

After crying softly for a while, Xingnuo wiped away her tears. She was still very tired, so she rested her face in her father's arms and began to daydream with her watery eyes.

Chen Yan didn't leave, he stood by the door for a long time, and suddenly said:

"Is this what humans are like? They seem a little different from us."

Without waiting for Shen Wen to reply, Shen Yan glanced at Xing Nuo who was in a daze again, said goodbye and left.

Unexpectedly, I would hear Shen Yan’s name from a human’s mouth this time.

Chen Wen put away his thoughts, hugged Xing Nuo, whose eyes were full of curiosity, and followed the teacher and the large group to the kindergarten classroom.

“Parents can let their children sit in their seats and experience what it’s like to be in a formal class!”

The teacher stood on the stage and clapped his hands to attract the children's attention.

"Children, come and pick a small desk you like and sit down to listen to the teacher tell stories, okay?"

Xingnuo was put down by his father, with his feet on the ground. He tilted his little head to look at his father in confusion.

Chen Wen gently pushed the baby, bent down and whispered:

"Can you sit down too, baby, and listen to the teacher's story?"

Xingnuo was obedient and nodded, but his feet didn't move for a long time.

There was a little fat boy who was the bravest. When the other children didn’t dare to come forward, he had already run over excitedly and occupied a table.

After occupying the table, he also occupied the table next to it, and ran back to hold Xingnuo's hand.

"Sister, come sit next to me, I'm very strong!"

Xingnuo was pulled forward two steps. His steps were not steady. He struggled a few times and broke free from the other person's hand.

"Not like a sister."

Three-year-old children already have a preliminary understanding of gender.

The little fat man stopped, turned his head to look at Xingnuo, raised his chin and snorted lightly, then put his hands on his hips and nodded vigorously.

"You're younger than me, shorter, so you're my sister!"

Xingnuo shook his head unhappily, his little curly hair swaying around and brushing across his cheeks, feeling slightly itchy and furry.

Using his hands to push away the hair that was rubbing against his little face, Xingnuo slowly explained:

"I look like a boy."

Not only the fat boy, but also the other children who were choosing desks, as well as several parents, were all stunned.

The parents were the first to react. They glanced at Shen Wen's light golden, silky, waist-length hair, and then glanced at Xing Nuo's shoulder-length hair. There was more understanding in their eyes.

It seems to be a unique hobby of their family, that they like to keep long hair.

However, Xingnuo is small, has a fair and childish face, speaks softly and vaguely, and has a head of eye-catching light-colored curly hair, which makes it easy for people to confuse his gender.

The other children were very curious and could not help but walk over, chirping like birds and surrounding Xingnuo, staring at him non-stop.

A little girl even stretched out her hand and touched Xingnuo's hair that fell on her shoulders. Her eyes widened suddenly as if she had touched something extraordinary.

"She's really not a girl!"

"I felt it! His hair is long!"

"The princess also has curly hair! Why isn't my hair curly?"

Children are sometimes more obsessed with looks than adults. When they are unfamiliar with someone, they make friends based entirely on their appearance.

Several little cubs surrounded the beautiful and delicate Xingnuo for a long time, and were finally reluctantly pulled to their seats by their parents.

Only the little fat boy with an overwhelming desire to protect others at the beginning refused to accept this fact and let out a loud howl.

"I don't want it! Sisters all have long hair, and he is the sister!"

His parents looked embarrassed and slapped the fat boy on the butt to stop him from crying.

"Excuse me, let's continue with the class."

The parent hurriedly threw the tearful little fat boy onto his seat, whispered a few words to him, then turned around and went outside the classroom with other parents to wait.

Although a small incident occurred, it did not affect the teacher's continued teaching.

Xingnuo chose a seat in the back row near the window, so that when he looked up he could see his father looking at him from outside the classroom window.

He sat on a short little chair, folded his hands neatly on the small cloud-shaped desk, and listened obediently to the teacher telling stories.

A vivid storytelling lesson ended quickly.

This is the end of the first day’s kindergarten visit.

Xingnuo held his father's hand, put on his schoolbag again, and walked back home on his short legs.

On the way, Shen Wen asked Xing Nuo a few questions about his impression of the kindergarten.

"Zizi, do you think it's good to take classes here?"

"Okay~"

There are many children playing together here. In the flower bed in the corner of the kindergarten, there are several bunches of Xingnuo’s favorite sunflowers.

Chen Wen recalled the teaching cases he had seen, and imitated human parents, striking while the iron was hot:

"Then the kids will all go to kindergarten from now on, okay?"

Xingnuo had no idea how dangerous the situation was. He nodded his little head, and his bright little eyes suddenly curved.

"Okay~"

The father and son walked into the elevator, and when they were on the third floor, the elevator door suddenly opened.

The new resident on the third floor was holding a pile of cardboard boxes. He had a few blue veins on his thick arms and was wearing camouflage pants. He was stunned when he saw Chen Wen and Xingnuo in the elevator.

"Hello, I'm a new mover on the third floor." The other party greeted first.

Chen Wen nodded, without responding, and withdrew his gaze without much concern.

The resident on the third floor was quite talkative. He didn't care about Shen Wen's cold attitude at all and continued to chat with him with a smile:

"You guys are from the fourth floor, right? I joined the community group chat a while ago, and your family is quite famous! Is this your child? He looks so cute!"

The other party freed one hand and tried to pinch Xingnuo's face.

Chen Wen hugged Xingnuo, frowned, and avoided the dirty hand.

The resident on the third floor laughed, rubbed his dirty hands on his pants, made two sucking sounds, and teased Xingnuo like a puppy.

Xingnuo buried half of his face in his father's arms, revealing his two watery eyes, and secretly glanced at this unreliable uncle.

The resident on the third floor carried a box into the elevator, stood inside, and went up to the fourth floor with them before going down again.

After a few seconds, the fourth floor arrived.

Before Shen Wen exited the elevator, he heard a resident on the third floor answer a phone call:

"What? There's something unusual in Dongcheng District again? What's going on? The frequency of unusual events has been too high recently!"

The voice of the resident on the third floor was very low, but unfortunately Chen Wen’s hearing ability as a boss-level monster allowed him to hear the voices inside the elevator even through an elevator door.

Chen Wen raised his eyelids, then lowered his head nonchalantly and wiped off the dust that had rubbed off Xingnuo's nose from somewhere.

"Why is it so dirty?"

Just like a puppy, he always gets fed up every time he goes out to play.

Still smiling foolishly like this, Shen Wen couldn't help but chuckle.

During lunch, Xingnuo stuffed a few meatballs in his mouth and gestured to his brother about what he saw in kindergarten.

"It's a big...house. Come sit together, little friends, and listen to the story of the old temple. I'll tell my brother..."

Xingnuo has been able to express himself much more fluently recently, and can barely utter a complete sentence, but his voice is still nasal, and one has to guess to understand what he is saying.

Shen Baizhou supported his chin with one hand, staring down at his brother, seeing that his little eyebrows were about to fly up with joy, the corners of his mouth could not help but curl up slightly.

A small person can hardly speak clearly, yet he wants to tell stories to others seriously.

How interesting!
