Chapter 162

Chapter 162

Union Zero One.

Sang Ming was so angry that he had a heart attack. He sat on a chair with broken things on the ground at his feet.

"What the hell is going on?! Monsters can crawl out from the gaps in space, but why can't players go out without dying?!"

The subordinate standing below didn't know how to answer. After thinking again and again, he gritted his teeth and said:

"Is it because the players' physiques are different from those of the monsters?"

It's not that Sang Ming didn't think there was something wrong with the map, but he got this map after several players on the leaderboard died. The process was so tragic that Sang Ming only doubted it for a moment and then subconsciously denied it.

Sang Ming's eyes were gloomy and cold. He could only use this reason to convince himself. He waved his hand and asked his subordinate to go down first.

In the silent space, Sang Ming suddenly spoke:

"As soon as you came online, you asked me to target that kid named Xingnuo. Why?"

Two mechanical sounds rang out in his mind:

"No reason, just do it! Since he's still young, you can kill him in any higher level dungeon!"

Sang Ming didn't like the system talking to him in such a condescending and commanding tone.

He frowned, took a deep breath, and sneered twice:

“Didn’t we use energy to pull him into the dungeon before? What was the result? Didn’t we fail every time?!”

However, Sang Ming did not take the child seriously at all. He wanted to accomplish something great, and a little brat who was destined to die in the copy was not worth mentioning at all!

It's this system that makes me suspicious all day long. I don't know what it's doing!

"In order to help you, I sent several players back to reality through the gap, just to kill him! But I didn't expect that the players were different from monsters and couldn't come out of the gap."

The system can't help much in this regard. Its energy is very precious and it has been in dormancy. As soon as it comes online, it lets Sang Ming target the man named Xingnuo.

"Hurry up and find another copy! Find out about this kid's background. I suspect he has someone helping him, which is why he was able to pass through these copies so many times!"

Sang Ming looked a little impatient, but thinking of the function of the system, he could only endure it temporarily and go find a copy.

Not all copies can just randomly fit people in.

Sang Ming also needs to find loopholes in the copy, or things related to Xingnuo, so as to increase the success rate of pulling them in.

He even expended a lot of his supernatural powers on this!

Sang Ming was resentful in his heart, and spoke with a gloomy face:

"For the last time! If you fail this time, I won't use my supernatural powers to help you again!"

The system was also somewhat dissatisfied, but thinking that Sang Ming was still somewhat useful, it could only calmly say:

"I understand. You listen to me. This time, he will definitely not be able to pass this instance!"

***

Xingnuo woke up from a nap, in a daze, and then he remembered that his afternoon class was about to start, so he hurriedly got out of bed.

Before he could put on his slippers, there were several banging sounds on the door.

"You little bastard! How long are you going to sleep?!"

"I told you I shouldn't have raised him. Look at him. It's already this late. The sun is already shining on his butt, and he hasn't even gotten up yet!"

Xingnuo felt a little dizzy. He raised his head and was about to open the door, but found that the place he was in was unfamiliar.

The walls were yellow, and there were old, rusty railings welded on the windows. The whole room was very small, and besides the bed, there was a pile of miscellaneous items piled in the corner.

Various cardboard boxes are piled up together, making it look more like a storage room than a bedroom.

There was no wardrobe in the room. Xingnuo's clothes were folded in a small cardboard box, all of which were bleached by washing.

Xingnuo looked around the bedroom, and was surprised, yet couldn't help feeling a sense of familiarity.

No, that's not right!

This is not his home!

Xingnuo thought of his father and brother, breathed a sigh of relief, and went to open the door.

Outside the door, the couple who had been knocking on the door for a long time saw Xingnuo coming out and slapped him to the ground.

Xingnuo fell down on his butt, looked up at the couple, a puzzled look on his face.

"Who are you? Why am I here?"

Xingnuo thought of the kidnapping on TV, and his face turned pale. He stood up, patted his pants, and said:

"Uncle and aunt, buying and selling children is illegal. My father and brother are very powerful, they will definitely find me soon!"

Hearing the words uncle and aunt, the couple looked at each other and then sneered.

"Sure, Xingnuo, you're so irritable now that even your parents don't want to call you, right!"

Xingnuo looked at the two people in front of him. The man had an elegant appearance, wore glasses, and was dressed conservatively and old-fashionedly. He seemed to be a teacher.

The woman had a somewhat sour look, with a long chin, and she looked at Xingnuo with an unfriendly look.

"Don't worry if you're really stupid or just pretending, go clean up the house!"

The man had a cold look in his eyes. Seeing that Xingnuo was slow and didn't move for a long time, he stepped forward and pushed him again.

"Don't just stand there, you don't have any father or brother. You've been adopted by us for so many years, do you still think you have relatives?"

"To tell you the truth, the director of the orphanage said at the time that your parents had died in a car accident a long time ago. Otherwise, would you have been able to go to an orphanage?"

Xingnuo was still stunned, listening to these words, feeling that these things were so unfamiliar to him, yet it seemed as if he had experienced them before.

With his mind in a mess, Xingnuo stood there blankly for a long time, shook his head, and did not believe what the two people said.

He has a father and an older brother.

Everything these people say is false!

Xingnuo did not listen to the woman and clean up the house. Instead, he turned around, took out his small schoolbag, and walked out with a wooden face.

When the woman saw him leave, she cursed even more fiercely behind him, using all the dirty words on Xingnuo.

But as soon as the door of her house was opened, the woman caught a glimpse of the eyes of the neighbors around her, and she could only smile and said with a hypocritical mask:

"Be careful on Xingnuo Road."

Xingnuo didn't respond, but walked out quickly and went outside along the old stairs.

Xingnuo walked around the bicycles piled up at the bottom of several buildings, as well as some pickles and clothes hung out to dry by some aunties, and stood downstairs.

The old residential compound had antennas hanging all over the sky, as well as various clothesline ropes. At first glance, it looked like a spider web, trapping people in this place.

The lady who was hanging clothes downstairs saw Xingnuo, exclaimed twice, and asked:

"Xingnuo, you got up so early? Have you eaten?"

Xingnuo's stomach growled. He shook his head, unable to remember the aunt's name, and could only walk out of the community.

After passing through several narrow alleys, Xingnuo felt very confused and had a depressed and aggrieved feeling.

This is obviously not the home he is familiar with, but for some reason, Xingnuo feels very strangely familiar with it.

Especially when he walked out of the community, he unexpectedly discovered that he actually knew which way to go to school.

Xingnuo stood at the entrance of a primary school with a plaque hanging on it, looking at the cheerful and innocent children with a dazed look on his face. He was stunned for a long time and did not go in.

Until a classmate pushed him and asked with a laugh:

"Xingnuo, what are you doing standing there like an idiot?"

"You're going to be late for school!"

Xingnuo didn't want to go in, everything here was too weird!

But for some reason, Xingnuo hesitated at the door for a long time, and finally walked into the school.

He followed his classmate into the classroom, but forgot where he was sitting. It was only after the other person pointed it out that he found his seat.

Xingnuo sat down and looked through the books on the desk, on which there were notes he had written.

The handwriting is neat and round, and the strokes are still very immature. Because he is still a child, some of the words are involuntarily written in large size.

It's his own handwriting, Xingnuo thought.

He sat at his wooden desk, holding his snow-white cheek, watching his classmates and teachers coming and going, and couldn't help but be in a trance for a moment.

It seems that this is the world he lives in.

It seemed as if all the things he had experienced were just imagination.

As this thought came to mind, Xingnuo discovered that his memories of his brother and father had faded a lot!

On the contrary, the memories and emotions towards this world are deepening!

Xingnuo had broken out in cold sweats several times this morning, trying hard to suppress his thoughts.

But the effect was very small. Xingnuo knew that he couldn't go on like this before the class was over!

This world is so strange!

Xingnuo pushed his books and pen aside, stood up, and ran towards the classroom door in the surprised eyes of his teacher and classmates.

His curly hair was blown up by the scorching wind, and his ill-fitting aqua blue clothes fluttered along with the wind. Although he was short, he ran very fast.

He ran all the way to the school gate, and the security guard stopped the elementary school student who wanted to run out instead of going to school, and angrily shouted:

"Hurry back! How could you not listen to the teacher? It's not good to skip school!"

Xingnuo didn't listen. Instead, he changed direction, found the shortest wall of the school, moved a lot of stones, and used them as a cushion to climb up.

As soon as he climbed over the wall, several teachers chased after him, shouting anxiously and angrily:

"Xingnuo?! What are you doing?"

"Aren't you usually very well behaved? Just like your mother said, children from orphanages are disobedient!"

"Come down quickly, or I'll call your mother to take you back!"

These words seemed to pierce Xingnuo's heart like needles. Xingnuo blinked and shouted at them:

"You are wrong! I am not a child from an orphanage!"

"I have a father and brother who love me!"

The teachers looked at Xingnuo. She still had the same fair and delicate face, watery eyes, and fluffy little curly hair covering her eyebrows. She looked extremely well-behaved and lovable.

In fact, some adults who are obsessed with looks do like Xingnuo, but Xingnuo's parents always say that he is rebellious and disobedient, and often talks back to them at home.

Over time, the teachers' impression of him gradually became average.

"Come down now! Do you want to be sent back to the orphanage?"

Xingnuo subconsciously trembled for a moment, as if being sent back to the orphanage was his most unacceptable nightmare.

He sat on the wall, feeling the wind blowing from this world, and suddenly figured something out.

"Just send it back! I hate you!"

These words seemed to be shouted from his soul, and Xingnuo felt relieved all of a sudden. He jumped off the wall, landed on a pile of cardboard boxes, and fluttered to his feet.

His little face was covered in dust and he limped out. Although he looked disheveled, he really wanted to laugh.

With his eyes squinted, Xingnuo wanted to applaud himself.

See, even if it happens again, he can still escape from this suffocating environment!

Xingnuo remembered a lot of things, mixed with memories of two lifetimes, which made his head dizzy. Fortunately, he still remembered what he was going to do and walked out step by step.
