Chapter 64

Chapter 64

Only one night had passed, but Xingnuo sat at his small wooden desk and felt as if a month had passed.

He used the small rag that his father had prepared for him, bent over and wiped his small table with a sound of his voice.

He even wiped the small stool he was sitting on carefully.

The fat little boy came to school crying early in the morning, but before he even walked into the classroom, he saw the little light golden curly-haired Xingnuo already sitting down, and he immediately stopped crying.

The fat boy wiped his eyes twice, raised his neck proudly and manly, snorted twice, and walked in.

Xingnuo turned his head to look at him and opened his mouth to say something, but the next second, the little fat boy tripped over the threshold.

The wails that broke through the ceiling suddenly resounded through the sky.

Xingnuo scratched his little face, looked at the crying fat boy, and couldn't help but shrugged his shoulders.

The boy wanted to remind him, but he didn't have time to say it.

Teacher Xiao Song hurried over and gently comforted the children who were crying.

Early in the morning, the classroom was filled with a mixture of howling and voices calling for mothers, making it even busier than the vegetable market across the street.

It took almost an hour before the children in the class slowly quieted down.

Teacher Xiao Song clapped his hands tiredly and began the class formally.

In addition to singing nursery rhymes today, Teacher Xiao Song also taught the children to recognize words.

Xingnuo looked at the Chinese characters on the blackboard that all looked exactly the same, propped up her little face, and felt dizzy.

"Down, up..." Xingnuo followed the teacher's recitation, shaking his head, and his little eyes were about to stick together.

The next second, the sleepy Xingnuo almost fell headfirst on the small desk.

Xingnuo opened his eyes with difficulty, covered his forehead which was almost hit by the desk, opened his mouth and yawned several times.

It seemed as if sleepiness was contagious. As soon as Xingnuo yawned, yawns began to break out in the classroom.

The fat boy next door was even more excessive, with his little face leaning on the sharp corner of the desk. His face was sunken from being poked by the desk, but he still closed his eyes and slept soundly.

The little fat boy was still holding a pencil in one hand and mumbling something, as if he was still following the teacher to recite words.

Teacher Xiao Song walked down with his hands behind his back. Seeing the fat boy's appearance, he coughed heavily.

The little fat boy was suddenly awakened, wiped his saliva with his hands, raised his fat face and kept yelling:

"I'm not asleep, I'm not asleep! I'm reading!"

Seeing this, Xingnuo and the other children covered their mouths and laughed happily.

Xingnuo narrowed his eyes, and it seemed as if a bright starry sky appeared in his eyes, dazzling and brilliant.

The time for teaching reading was very short. As soon as the bell rang, the children scattered to every corner of the kindergarten like little radishes with legs.

Xingnuo was pulled by the apple-faced little girl into the children's activity room.

As soon as she entered, the little girl put her hands on her hips and said angrily:

"My mom is lying to me!"

The short-haired little girl next to her, who was on good terms with her, tilted her head and asked:

"What did your mother lie to you about? I've discovered that adults always like to lie to us!"

The little girl with the apple face bared her teeth, snorted twice, and stamped her feet in anger.

"My mom said my brother has become more handsome! I went home to look for him yesterday and found that he is still so ugly!"

Not only is it ugly, it's also smelly!

When the little girl with the apple face thought of this, she hugged her arms and stomped her feet angrily.

"I've decided that I won't talk to my mom today!"

The short-haired little girl also stomped her feet, and the wooden floor under their feet was shaking continuously.

Xingnuo stood aside and felt that he did not move, but his little body was shaking continuously due to the shock.

Xingnuo's little head was already feeling dizzy after just learning to read. He covered his head with his hands, and saw a shaking scene in front of his eyes.

He raised his little eyes and couldn't help but feel flustered.

"The kid seems to be sick!"

Xingnuo covered his dizzy little head, walked with his short legs, and called out "Teacher Xiao Song" repeatedly.

Teacher Xiao Song was dealing with a quarrel between two children at the door of the classroom. When she saw Xing Nuo running over with his head in his arms, she supported his little shoulders and said:

"What happened to Xingnuo? Did he hit his head?"

Xingnuo shook his head and pointed at his little head with his short fingers, which must be problematic.

"Teacher Xiao Song, my head feels dizzy. I must have a fever!"

The last time I had a fever and was hospitalized, I felt dizzy like this!

After hearing this, Teacher Xiao Song half squatted down and put the back of his hand on Xingnuo's forehead.

After feeling it for a while, Teacher Xiao Song frowned and changed his hand.

Xing Nuo watched Teacher Xiao Song use both hands to feel the temperature on his forehead, blinked his eyes, and said obediently:

"Teacher, is the cub sick?"

Teacher Xiao Song took his hand back and said "hmm" in an uncertain tone.

"I can't feel it for now, maybe it's a low-grade fever?" Teacher Song touched his chin, wondering.

It is very common for children to get sick and have a fever. Kindergartens will usually contact parents directly and let the children go home early to treat the illness.

Xingnuo, feeling dizzy, was led by teacher Xiao Song to the office to call his parents.

Chen Wen didn't like to carry a cell phone, so he called twice but the call didn't go through.

It just so happened that Chen Yan had left his contact information when he met Xingnuo. Teacher Xiao Song thought about it and called Chen Yan.

Chen Yan's deep and magnetic voice came through the microphone, and it seemed a little distorted through the phone screen.

"Hello?"

When Xingnuo heard his brother's voice, he hurriedly spoke up, feeling very aggrieved because of his illness:

"Brother, the baby is sick~"

The sound of Shen Yan wanting to speak seemed to pause, and then there was the sound of a chair being moved away.

"Okay, are you in the kindergarten? I'll pick you up."

Xingnuo hummed twice, seeming very well-behaved despite being sick, and her voice was soft and sweet.

"Okay, I'll wait for you in the kindergarten."

Teacher Xiao Song poured a cup of hot water for Xingnuo, rubbed his little curly hair lovingly, and then couldn't help rubbing it a few more times because he was addicted.

Xingnuo's already messy hair was directly crumpled into a furry mess.

Seeing this, Teacher Xiao Song coughed lightly, put his hand away embarrassedly, and sat on the other side of the sofa.

"Xingnuo, drink some water. Your brother will come over later and sign to take you home."

Xingnuo, feeling dizzy, hummed twice, coughed twice extremely "weakly", and curled up on the small sofa without moving.

He always has no strength when he is sick, Xingnuo thought.

Teacher Song couldn't help but sigh when she saw Xingnuo was so weak and the blush on his pale face disappeared.

"I'll go get your little schoolbag."

Xingnuo's feet could hardly move. He raised his head slowly like a little sloth and said "OK".

When Chen Yan rushed over from the company, he saw the little boy holding his little schoolbag, curled up in a corner of the sofa uncomfortably, looking quiet.

Xingnuo has fair skin, and when he is energetic, his eyes are always bright and shining.

But once he started feeling uncomfortable, his eyelids half drooped, his eyes looked grey, and the whiteness of his skin looked more like a pale white, pitiful.

Chen Yan walked over and wrapped the uncomfortable and aggrieved little guy with clothes.

He gently scratched Xingnuo's nose with his fingers, then Chen Yan held the baby with limp hands and feet hanging down and asked:

"Why did you suddenly get sick?"

Xingnuo leaned weakly on his brother's chest, shook his little head, and said confusedly that he didn't know.

"I don't know. I feel dizzy when I look at anything."

Chen Yan signed with the teacher and walked out of the kindergarten holding Xing Nuo, who was as soft as a ball of cotton.

"The temperature has risen too quickly in the past two days. Maybe I caught a cold."

As Chen Yan analyzed this, he placed the back of his dry and broad hand on Xingnuo's forehead, feeling the temperature of his forehead.

"But it doesn't look like a fever to the touch."

Shen Yan wasn't sure, after all, he wasn't a human, so he didn't know what the real body temperature range of a human cub was.

Protecting Xingnuo's head, Chen Yan took him into the car.

"Let's go to the hospital first."

Upon hearing this, Xingnuo, who was just happy about leaving the kindergarten, suddenly turned his little face away.

He imitated his brother and teacher, put his little hand on his forehead, touched it for a while, and suddenly smiled sweetly.

"Brother, the baby doesn't seem to be hot~"

Like an ice cream that melted into a ball of sweet water, Xingnuo clung to his brother and kept lying in his arms.

"Brother, touch the baby's head, is it not hot?"

Chen Yan lowered his eyes, his lead-gray eyes showing a sense of control over everything, and he curled his lips and chuckled.

"I can't feel it. You still need to go to the hospital and let the doctor take your temperature."

Xingnuo shook his head vigorously, and the little curly-haired boy left an afterimage in the air.

"No need, the doctor is very busy, the kid is not dizzy now!"

When Xingnuo heard that they had to go to the hospital, he felt that everything was back to normal, and his strength and spirit inexplicably returned to his body.

He patted his frail little arms and clenched his fists.

"The baby is now super healthy!"

Xingnuo rolled up her sleeves, revealing her fair and tender arms, and asked her brother to pat them too.

"The kid is in trouble!"

Chen Yan looked at the little thing whose expression changed faster than the weather. For some reason, he just wanted to laugh.

Reaching out his hand, Shen Yan patted Xingnuo's arm, asking him to behave himself.

"Since you feel dizzy, just sit still. When we get to the hospital later, the doctor will be able to tell at a glance whether you are sick or not."

Xingnuo was hit by her brother in a way that didn't hurt her at all. She pouted her lips and made a sullen sound.

Holding his face with both hands, Xingnuo sat there and sighed.

"If I had known, I wouldn't have fainted."

Chen Yan listened to the little guy's strange ideas and shook his head helplessly.

"After the examination, what does Xingnuo want to eat? Brother will buy it for you."

Speaking of this, Xingnuo shook his feet and patted his small schoolbag.

"Hey, there are some really sweet red bean paste buns! But, but..."

Xingnuo curled up the corners of his mouth again and smiled sweetly:

"I also want a sweet cloud bun!"

Shen Yan had no reason to refuse, so he picked up Xingnuo's small schoolbag and hung it on his arm.

Wearing a suit, Chen Yan held Xingnuo and took the little guy to the hospital for examination.

Ever since the private hospital started cooperating with Shen Yan's company on medical equipment, it has always reserved a high-end VIP ward for Mr. Shen.

The professional doctor took the thermometer prepared by Xingnuo, pushed up his glasses on the bridge of his nose, and looked again and again.

Finally, the doctor couldn't see anything, so he could only speak cautiously:

"I don't have a fever. Maybe I have a headache because of the cold air I took."

Xingnuo quickly raised his little face and looked at his brother, his little face instantly breaking into a smile.

"Brother, the baby is fine!"

Upon hearing this, Shen Yan reached out and pinched the tip of the little guy's nose, not knowing what to say for a moment.

"It's okay, you just looked sick."

The weak little look came out of nowhere and he pretended to be real.
