Chapter 9

Chapter 9

Xingnuo was held by the back of the neck and struggled slightly in the air.

He was having trouble breathing and took several deep breaths. His face was pale and his lips were completely bloodless.

He turned his little face and looked at the "person" who caught him, and his voice sounded as weak as a kitten.

"I don't, little sad silk!"

Xingnuo spoke incoherently and didn't even understand what zombies meant.

The one who captured Xingnuo was a mid-level zombie with human appearance.

The zombie's expression was stiff, his face was pale, and his eyes were empty and lifeless.

He just stared at Xingnuo for a long time.

Picking up the kid, the zombie sniffed him and made a hoarse sound.

"You are!"

The breath of life from this little zombie is very weak, but it also exudes a very strong smell of a high-level monster.

The zombies couldn't tell what this high-level monster smelled like, but they subconsciously felt it was dangerous and even had the urge to abandon the little zombie and run away.

Fortunately, the zombie had already taken half a step into a higher level, and with its arms stiff, it did not show its fear too obviously.

They are all monsters, it is not good to abandon their own kind.

The zombie's eyes rolled stiffly and he praised the little zombie.

"It seems that you have learned well. When you meet other people in the future, you must not reveal your identity as a little zombie. If you meet them, just say that you are a human."

Xingnuo was confused and didn't know how to respond.

He is a human being!

The zombies didn't care about that and just carried Xingnuo back.

"A little zombie came here just now, and you two are just good company."

The zombies are very fast, and even if they are holding a small pendant cub in their hands, it does not affect their running at all.

Soon, he brought Xingnuo to a dilapidated building.

The building was dark, damp, and dilapidated, like a dark cave nest with unknown liquid dripping down.

There were several zombies inside with stiff expressions, but their appearance was very similar to that of humans.

I saw a zombie carrying a little zombie back. A female zombie said with a paralyzed face:

"Why did another little zombie come out?"

Their zombies have been strictly enforcing the learning courses of imitating humans recently. Young zombies are the key educational targets and are generally not allowed to escape easily.

When the zombies have learned their skills, they will disguise themselves as humans and go to places where humans gather. They will eavesdrop on humans' news from the inside and pass on various intelligence to the zombies.

High-level zombies have gradually become intelligent and have begun to compete with humans in a battle of wits and courage.

The zombie shook his head, and after thinking for a while, he said:

"Maybe he saw a new group of humans coming to town and couldn't help but want to take a bite."

The nature of the little zombies is difficult to suppress. They are more greedy for blood and human flesh, and often can't help but sneak out to eat humans.

Although most of them never return.

"Luckily I found him this time, otherwise such a small zombie would have been killed by humans if they found him."

The female zombie glanced at Xingnuo and shook her head.

"uncertain."

This little zombie looks quite like a human.

His eyes were lively and his expression was vivid. If it weren't for the strong smell of monster, he would have been no different from a human.

Maybe I can hide the truth and sneak in directly.

Among their zombie group, no one has yet successfully mixed in with humans.

Xingnuo's feet finally landed on the ground. As he listened to their words, his head was buzzing.

He listened for a while in confusion, blinked his eyes, and finally understood a little.

It seemed that he was regarded as the same kind as this monster.

Liang Yun watched the TV series on a whim.

Halfway through the film, a bloody scene of ruins suddenly popped up on the TV.

She was dizzy for a while, and when she woke up again, she had been pulled into an infinite copy world.

She was lucky, as there were several veteran players where she fell, and they took her, a newcomer, to the human hiding base.

In just half a day, Liang Yun was forced to accept the fact that he had come to the infinite flow world.

Liang Yun learned some information about the infinite flow world from old players.

This is a world made up of countless terrifying copies. After humans are pulled in, they need to earn points and props in various copies and struggle to survive.

These copies are of varying difficulty levels. The highest level is the S+ copy, and only the top players on the leaderboard have the courage to challenge it.

Most ordinary people like Liang Yun who have bad luck only dare to choose some simple and easy copies to struggle and survive.

But even in this easy copy, many people die in it every time and can never get out.

Liang Yun's eyes were confused, with the bewilderment typical of a newcomer who had just entered a dungeon.

"Then we will never be able to return to the real world again?"

Her cola, fried chicken, French fries, hamburgers, spicy hot pot...are all of these going to be gone from her? !

And what if she can’t pay the monthly installments for the small apartment she just saved up for? !

The old player laughed at himself and kindly explained:

"It's not that I can't go back, it's just... it's difficult!"

The big guys are still struggling to accumulate points to survive, but small fry like them may have to wait until the end of time.

A kind-hearted old player reminded:

"But you don't have to worry too much. This zombie dungeon is quite simple. You can pass it if you survive for three days. It is considered to be one of the friendliest dungeons."

Liang Yun and the other two newcomers who were brought in couldn't help but feel relieved when they heard this.

Seeing that the atmosphere was too heavy, one player wanted to liven it up a bit, so he scratched his head and said:

"We are lucky to have run into you guys right after we came in. If we had fallen into the zombie pile on the other side of the city, we would have died on the spot, hahaha!"

Upon hearing this, the old players looked at each other and their faces changed slightly.

They were hiding in the dark just now and actually saw a child being carried away by zombies.

I'm afraid it's more dangerous than good.

Xingnuo, who was carried back to the nest by the zombies, was now sitting obediently on a small stool, mixed in with the zombies with a confused look, learning a course to imitate humans.

This is a temporary learning classroom for the zombies.

A group of zombies sat below, some of them didn't even need benches and just half-squatted.

Their expressions were all stiff and expressionless, their dark eyes staring straight at the blackboard in front of them, their mouths slightly open subconsciously, and from time to time they made a few hoarse sounds.

The teacher who came to teach was a high-level zombie teacher.

The zombie teacher looks vivid and real. If it weren't for his slightly pale face and less flexible eyes, he would be no different from a human.

"…The most difficult and complicated thing for humans is facial expression. This is also the fundamental reason why we fail in disguise."

The zombie teacher pushed up his glasses and asked someone to answer.

"Little zombie who just came in, answer this question. If humans suddenly suspect you, how would you react?"

Xingnuo knew that he was mistaken for a zombie. After being called out, he stood up slowly under the oppressive gazes of the zombies.

After standing up, he discovered that there was a little zombie in front of him who was about the same age as him and also stood up.

The little zombie in front slowly turned its head, and the movement of twisting its neck had a stiff mechanical feel, with pauses and stops.

The little zombie had pure black hair and black eyes, and it seemed as if he was exerting effort to blink. His skin was a cold white color that only appeared in a laboratory, and it looked extremely unreal.

He looked at Xingnuo, suddenly tilted his head, pulled the corner of his mouth towards Xingnuo, revealing his little fangs.

Is this supposed to be a joke?

Xingnuo was stunned and blinked a few times. For a moment, he didn't know whether to be afraid or to smile back.

The zombie teacher pushed up his glasses when he saw the friendly exchange between the two little guys.

"Okay, the zombies in front of you sit down first. You are too stiff. Even if you learn for ten or eight years and evolve a few levels, you may not be sent to the human side."

The teacher took one look at the little black-haired zombie in front of him and couldn't help but shook his head.

At first glance, it was a low-level zombie that only had a little simple, rudimentary intelligence.

He encounters a lot of these zombies every time he teaches, so it's not that surprising.

"The curly-haired little zombie in the back, answer my question just now."

The curly-haired little zombie Xingnuo hummed obediently, thought about it, and then shook his little head.

"I have no idea."

He is a human who sneaked into the zombie group, and he really doesn't know how to disguise himself as a human by using the identity of a little zombie.

After Xingnuo came here, his eyes have been confused.

The little curly hair was messed up by the wind on his head, his face looked too pale from the cold, and his speech was intermittent and unfluent. He really looked like a little zombie.

The senior zombie teacher seemed to have discovered something, walked down and stopped in front of Xingnuo.

The zombie teacher's mouth was stretched into a straight line. He bent down straight, with a paralyzed face, and sniffed hard in front of Xingnuo.

After sniffing for a long time, he could only smell the strong smell of monsters and a little bit of human smell that was almost dissipating.

It's really strange.

The little zombie actually has the aura of a boss-level monster? !

So far, the only boss-level monster that Zombie Teacher has seen is the Zombie King.

Unfortunately, he was far away and could not remember the smell of the zombie king clearly, nor could he determine what the smell of the little zombie was.

Could it be that...

What is the relationship between this little zombie and the zombie king?
