Chu Zhaozhao looked at Xu Yu's agent quietly, then said something lightly.
"Excuse me."
The agent looked at Chu Zhaozhao in confusion, and finally watched Chu Zhaozhao leave her office.
Chu Zhaozhao went straight to Sister Wei's office. Obviously, Sister Wei was not in the office and the door was locked.
"Zhao Zhao, come and look for Sister Wei. She's not at the company. Why didn't you call her?"
Someone from the company happened to pass by and asked Chu Zhaozhao curiously.
"It's okay, I just came to the company to pick up some things and wanted to see if Sister Wei was there. I don't actually have anything to look for her for." Chu Zhaozhao said with a smile.
The person who just passed by nodded and left with his things. Chu Zhaozhao also followed him down the elevator and returned to the car.
"Sister Zhao Zhao, you came down so quickly. I thought it would take you a long time..."
"Just a few words."
The assistant drove the car towards Chu Zhaozhao's apartment.
"Wait, I sent you an address, go there."
The assistant looked at the address and saw that it was a studio. Without asking any questions, he drove Chu Zhaozhao there.
"Sister Zhaozhao, there seem to be a lot of people coming and going in this studio. Don't forget to wear a mask and don't get photographed to avoid causing unnecessary trouble." The assistant reminded Chu Zhaozhao.
Chu Zhaozhao put on a mask and strode towards the studio door.
"Who are you looking for, miss? Do you have an appointment?"
"I'm looking for your person in charge, Chu Huaiyang. Is he here?"
After Chu Zhaozhao finished speaking, the receptionist looked at her embarrassedly.
"Miss, I'm sorry, we can't disclose the studio manager's schedule. If you need to contact them, you need to make an appointment."
"I'm her sister." Chu Zhaozhao said calmly.
The receptionist still smiled and shook her head. Chu Zhaozhao took out her cell phone and sent a message to Chu Huaiyang.
[Third brother, are you home now? I can’t seem to open the combination lock at home.]
Chu Huaiyang still didn't reply to Chu Zhaozhao's message, and Chu Zhaozhao frowned unconsciously.
"It's Huaiyang's sister, right? She hasn't been to the studio for two days. I called her this morning and she said she was sick and resting at home. Are you coming to the studio to pick something up?"
Chu Zhaozhao looked at the person who was speaking, who happened to be the person who was at the dinner party that Chu Huaiyang took her to last time.
"Nothing, I was just passing by the studio and wanted to ask my brother if he had anything I wanted."
After Chu Zhaozhao finished speaking, he left quickly, fearing that the partner would ask Chu Zhaozhao some details.
"What did that lady say just now?"
"She said she wanted to see Mr. Chu, but I told her it wasn't convenient to reveal Mr. Chu's itinerary..."
"Strange, hasn't Huaiyang been at home these past two days?"
"Yeah, I was afraid she was here to cause trouble, so I said it was inconvenient to disclose. I was also curious. I was wondering if I didn't see President Chu come to the company today."
The receptionist and the partner exchanged glances and went about their respective business.
Chu Zhaozhao returned to the car and looked ahead with a serious expression.
"Sister Zhaozhao, where are we going now?" the assistant asked weakly.
Chu Zhaozhao took a deep breath and said, "Let's go to the hospital."
"Sister Zhaozhao, why are you going to the hospital again? I feel like nothing good happens every time you go to the hospital." The assistant said reluctantly.
"Yeah, he's already in the hospital, what good can come of it?"
Chu Zhaozhao recounted what happened during these visits to the hospital, and his expression gradually became gloomy.
"Sister Zhaozhao, let me go up with you." The assistant asked tentatively.
Chu Zhaozhao didn't refuse, and the assistant followed Chu Zhaozhao's pace.
"Sister Zhao Zhao, be careful, watch the road."
Chu Zhaozhao was so busy walking quickly that she didn't notice the person who suddenly came out from the corner. The assistant pulled Chu Zhaozhao back in time.
Perhaps the person who suddenly rushed out interrupted Chu Zhaozhao's train of thought, or perhaps Chu Zhaozhao simply didn't know which way to go, so she stopped.
"I don't know which ward to go to."
Chu Zhaozhao seemed to have given up and was about to turn around and leave.
The assistant grabbed Chu Zhaozhao and took her to the nurse's station to ask.
After learning this from the nurse, the assistant pushed Chu Zhaozhao towards the ward, fearing that Chu Zhaozhao would run away halfway.
"Sister Zhao Zhao, you've been carrying too much pressure lately. Some things might not be that bad. Don't put so much pressure on yourself."
Chu Zhaozhao was pushed to the door of the ward. After thinking it over, Chu Zhaozhao went in.
The three sons of the Chu family gathered around Chu Rong's bed. Chu Zhaozhao noticed at first glance that Chu Rong's hair had turned much whiter.
"Third brother, you came to the hospital, why didn't you tell me?"
Chu Zhaozhao asked softly, but Chu Huaiyang lowered his head.
"My phone was out of battery, and I hadn't been able to charge it, so I..."
Chu Huaian and Chu Huaiyu made room for Chu Zhaozhao to step forward.
Chu Rong heard Chu Zhaozhao's voice and opened his eyes.
"Zhao Zhao..." Chu Rong called out to Chu Zhaozhao weakly.
Chu Zhaozhao glanced at Chu Rong and said nothing.
"I actually wanted to tell you, but I think you have too many things on your mind lately. My elder and second brothers and I are here, so don't blame me, Zhao Zhao." Chu Huaiyang explained.
Chu Zhaozhao smiled and shook his head, saying, "Third brother, why do you think I would blame you?"
"No, I was wrong. I was just afraid you would think too much."
"Zhao Zhao, don't blame Huaiyang. He really didn't mean to hide his identity from you." Chu Huaian defended Chu Huaiyang.
Chu Huaiyu also nodded.
Chu Zhaozhao felt that this was no longer important and looked at Chu Rong.
