After parting ways with Lin Moyi on bad terms, Chu Zhaozhao found the director and used an excuse to finish filming her scenes early. Then she left the crew triumphantly with her assistant.
Chu Huaiyu didn't say what happened next, and Chu Zhaozhao had no idea.
In the car, Xu Yu called.
"Where are you? I just knocked on your door, but you weren't home?"
Xu Yu had some understanding of Chu Zhaozhao. He knew that she didn't like going out and would stay at home unless she was not notified.
"Why did you come to my house? I just came out of the crew." Chu Zhaozhao answered truthfully.
Xu Yu looked at Chu Zhaozhao's door and asked curiously, "Such a sudden announcement?"
"Of course it wasn't sudden, it was deliberately arranged." Chu Zhaozhao answered with a smile, while wondering in her heart whether Xu Yu could guess the truth.
Obviously, Xu Yu is different from Chu Huaiyu. He has an active mind and thinks more long-term and rationally.
"Are you going to deal with the matter between Lin Moyi and your second brother?"
Although it was a question, Xu Yu's tone was very flat, and it sounded as if he confirmed that Chu Zhaozhao had done such a thing.
Chu Zhaozhao chuckled and said nothing, as if she agreed.
After two seconds of silence, no one spoke, and Xu Yu went straight to the point.
"Come directly to my studio later. I'll be waiting for you there."
After Xu Yu finished speaking, he hung up the phone without giving Chu Zhaozhao any room to object.
"These people hang up on me so quickly." Chu Zhaozhao complained to his assistant.
The assistant looked through the rearview mirror and said to Chu Zhaozhao, "Sister Zhaozhao, is there a possibility that Mr. Xu was afraid you would refuse, so he hung up the phone quickly, which meant he didn't give you any chance to refuse."
"Am I stupid? Don't I know to send a message and reject again?" Chu Zhaozhao glared at the assistant, signaling her not to talk nonsense.
The assistant was originally just thinking about supporting the couple, but he became obedient after being glared at by Chu Zhaozhao.
"Sister Zhaozhao, honestly, what type of men do you like?" the assistant asked curiously.
Chu Zhaozhao smelled something strange and looked at the assistant warily, but did not answer the assistant's question.
"Really, Sister Zhao Zhao, tell me, what type of man do you like?"
"Hey, Sister Wei..."
When the assistant heard this, she immediately begged for mercy, "Sister Zhao Zhao, please don't complain to Sister Wei. I won't say anything more. Isn't it okay if I don't say anything more?"
"Drive carefully and shut up." Chu Zhaozhao smiled.
The assistant was about to speak when Chu Zhaozhao glared at him again.
The assistant said aggrievedly: "Sister Zhao Zhao, you haven't told me where Mr. Xu's studio is."
Chu Zhaozhao slowed down her tone and said the address of Xu Yu's studio, and then the car fell into silence and no one spoke anymore.
The assistant didn't speak until they arrived at the destination. He communicated with Chu Zhaozhao using sign language. Seeing the assistant's hard work, Chu Zhaozhao also smiled.
"Okay, go back quickly and have a good rest. You have worked hard during this period."
Seeing that Chu Zhaozhao was smiling genuinely, the assistant smiled back at her and then drove away.
Although Chu Zhaozhao didn't know why Xu Yu called her to the studio, she still went there anyway.
"Xu Yu?"
Chu Zhaozhao pushed open the door of the studio while calling Xu Yu's name, looking for Xu Yu.
"You must be Mr. Chu, right? Mr. Xu is meeting a guest. Please wait in his office for a while."
Someone came and took Chu Zhaozhao to Xu Yu's office and brought her a cup of coffee.
Chu Zhaozhao looked at the newly renovated studio again and felt that everything had changed. He unconsciously started touching here and there.
"I thought you wouldn't come so soon."
Xu Yu's voice first entered the office, and Chu Zhaozhao immediately became serious.
"Xu Yu, why did you call me here? To show me what your new studio looks like?" Chu Zhaozhao raised his eyebrows.
Xu Yu smiled and didn't deny it, then said: "It's not impossible. The last time I showed you around, nothing was done properly. I'll take you around again this time."
Chu Zhaozhao thought this was what Xu Yu called her for, so she followed Xu Yu consciously, walked around the entire studio, and got to know everyone in Xu Yu's studio.
The people in the studio were also very sensible and didn't ask any questions that they shouldn't have. Even when Xu Yu introduced Chu Zhaozhao, they also consciously made an introduction.
Although Chu Zhaozhao didn't remember their names after the whole round, he nodded to each of them with a smile.
After viewing the new decoration, Xu Yu and Chu Zhaozhao returned to Xu Yu's office to drink coffee.

Facing Xu Yu's denial, Chu Zhaozhao nodded. It was obvious that Xu Yu had just taken Chu Zhaozhao to simply look at the new environment, which was not his real purpose in calling Chu Zhaozhao here.
"Xu Yu, whatever you want to say, let's just say it. If you have something to say, just say it, okay?"
Chu Zhaozhao prefers a straightforward way of communication rather than this kind of communication that involves a lot of preparation, except for some necessary moments, of course.
"I told you before, I'll sign you to my studio..."
Chu Zhaozhao was shocked after hearing this and stopped Xu Yu from continuing.
"Don't joke like that. My contract with Zuoxing still has some time left. While it's true that I'm switching jobs early to pave the way for myself, aren't you afraid of rumors if I sign with your company?"
