Xu Shan got excited and started coughing violently again. After looking at the door of the ward and then at Xu Shan who was feeling unwell, Chu Zhaozhao chose to catch up with Xu Yu.
"Xu Yu!"
Chu Zhaozhao caught up with Xu Yu, but unfortunately his pace was too fast and Chu Zhaozhao had a hard time catching up with him.
"Xu Yu, even if your father is not very happy to see you, or you are not very happy to see your father, you are here anyway because you are worried about him, so you can't leave the hospital like this, otherwise you will regret it." Chu Zhaozhao said while panting.
Xu Yu seemed to have heard it, turned around, walked into the emergency passage, and sat on the stairs.
"Have you been communicating in this way for so many years?" Chu Zhaozhao also sat next to Xu Yu and said softly.
Xu Yu nodded and said, "I thought that if I became an actor and won the Best Actor award, I would be someone that Mom would be proud of, and Dad would treat me better. Until now, I still haven't got what I wanted. Isn't it ridiculous?"
"How can it be funny, Xu Yu? If someone throws mud at you, and you can use the mud to plant lotus flowers, that would be a very cool thing to say."
"Maybe you are the only one who thinks so." Xu Yu's tone sounded very lost.
Chu Zhaozhao wanted to ask some deeper questions, but felt it was inappropriate.
"Others say that there are no parents in the world who don't love their children, but I think there are," Chu Zhaozhao said in a low voice.
What Chu Zhaozhao was talking about was not just the Chu family, but also her own past life.
Growing up in an orphanage, she had never even seen what parents were. Of course, she almost had parents once, but unfortunately the couple did not adopt her.
In the Chu family, although she had a partner who called both parents, she knew that Cheng Feifei and Chu Rong did not actually accept her.
Looking at the entire Chu family, perhaps Chu Huaiyang and Chu Huaian are the few people who accept her.
"Are we going to compete to see who is more miserable?" Xu Yu asked with a sigh, but his eyes were always on Chu Zhaozhao.
Chu Zhaozhao shook her head and said, "It's not like you don't know me. I just got to know the Chu family. It's normal for them not to accept me, but you are different from your parents. They definitely love you and accept you."
"Maybe." Xu Yu answered absentmindedly.
"Let's sit here for a while and then go back and check on your dad through the door, or wait until he falls asleep and then go in to see how he is doing." Chu Zhaozhao suggested.
Xu Yu nodded without saying anything. Chu Zhaozhao always felt that she had done another good thing.
The two of them stayed quietly for a while, during which time Chu Zhaozhao kept staring at Xu Yu, unconsciously becoming absorbed in his thoughts.
